1) Fujifilm GFX 50S ii 2) Mamiya 645 AFD 3) Nikon F 4) Leica M3 The Fuji and Mamiya I use together for my studio portrait work. The Nikon and Leica I use for landscape, city and everything in between.
1. 1973 M42 Sears TLS with various adapted lenses dating as far back as 1903. You featured it in one of your Chicago videos. 2. 1909 (patent date) Kodak Brownie Box camera once owned by the Disney family. I use it to photograph historical Disney locations across the country (Chicago was one-his birth place). 3. Hasselblad SWC. 4. Olympus OM-1 with a 55mm f1.2 lens (I always shoot it wide open). 5. Sony RX-10 IV (my go to for serious travel) crazy 24mm-600mm lens (35mm equivalent). Honorable mention: Olympus TG-6 underwater and above. Great in the rain camera.
Love the cameras you have. Definitely have the shutter bug. My top cameras Film: Nikon F3 Minolta X-700 Digital: Olympus E-M5 Olympus E-M1 Mark ii My wife has an Olympus Myu 1 and her dad as the Nikon F as well as a Nikon D100. Lovely cameras too. Old but gold. ❤

You are right the XD-11 (XD-7 in Europe !) was the best ever 35mm Minolta SLR Camera, many professional photographers used the Minolta XD-11 (XD-7) ! I also had a Minolta 45mm 2.0 which is a much better focal length than a 50mm !!! I had two Nikon F2, two Nikon FE and one Nikon M, I did not like the light meter system in the Nikon F3, so I used the Nikon FE much more. The Canon New F-1 is so much better than the Nikon F3 ! I have tried the Pentax 67, but it is just so... NO ! I will rather use the Mamiya RB 6x7 which I did use many years ago. For point-and-shoot cameras I used Minox 35 ML which I think is the smallest and most easy to use for fast candid street photography, I also used the Leca Minilux which have the best ever Lens for an analog compact camera.
My first camera was an OM2n which I bought new and still use. Also use in rotation: Olympus OM1n - only bought it last month Canon F1 - when I need something rugged Mamiya RB67 - just put new light seals and carry for landscape and need a workout Canon 1DS mk 2 - excellent sensor Also have a Canon A1 which I love and a film EOS 300 called a rebel in the US which also takes my L lenses. I've far too many other cameras 😂😂
My best Cameras, new and old ones are/was #1 Sony A7RIVA (in use now !) #2 Hasselblad 2000 FC (sold, I regret !) #3 Hasselblad 501 CM #4 Canon New F-1 #5 Nikon F3 (sold)
Did you get the new Rollei 35AF? as an XA alternative? I was a fan of the XF I didn’t shoot well with the B35 cool either way. Good story. Not sure how I would’ve handled that. Most likely the wrong way.
After canon, sony & fujifilm, here are still with me: 1. Leica M240 with Voigtlander ultron 35f2 2. Leica X2 3. Canon Powershot S100 4. Canon Powershot SD780/Ixus 100
My favorite film camera is the Yashica 35 CC, it's very small and compact, but the quality of the lens is amazing. I also own the OM1, Minolta X-700 and recently bought the Nikon AF600
That's a nice collection, with some cameras I haven't seen before. I'm a few years older, so my first two cameras, which I still have, are my Mom's 1950s Brownie Hawkeye bakelite, cube-shaped 620 box camera and my (yes) Olympus OM10. Although they still work, both are damaged and, therefore, retired. Next were my first digital cameras, bought used: Panasonic FZ10, soon superceded by my FZ20 to have Tiff mode. My husband has those and my GH3, and I went Olympus again with the EM1 mkii and my two favorite m43 zooms. Got back into film, though, a few years ago, starting with a Kodak Tourist II, an underappreciated folder with its very sharp Anaston lens. Found and had serviced three Olympus OMs, the OM1, OM2n, and OMG. Recently added a Praktica L2 and Pentax SP1000 to try some M42 lenses - very nice - and two more medium format folders: Zeiss Ikon Ikonta for 645, and a Zeiss Nettar 6x9. And one TLR I bought for peanuts, a Ciroflex model D that works perfectly and has a clean lens. I feel lucky that two younger generations have come along and championed film photography so that it's still available to all of us. Thanks for being part of that and for your excellent videos.
I mainly have Minolta cameras, I seriously love the XG series. I have the XG-M, XG-1, XG-7, I also have the X-370, X-570, X-7A, I know I am missing one or two, and I couldn’t list all of the Minolta PnS I have. The Minolta Freedom Zoom 70C is completely underrated! Non Minolta favs is the Pentax K1000, and the Canon Z155.
I have room just for camera gear my father was big into photography so at age six I got a Kodak Brownie that was in 1960 Olympus XA to a Deardroff 8X10 in size and currently I am at 83 the X-PAN is probably the rarest I don’t own a Alpha, Minolta or Voitlander I think I have all the other brands covered there is a camera museum in Staunton Virginia and I think he has more my oldest 1935 and my newest is my cell phone
Starting with my film cameras, Canon new F-1, Minolta H-Matic AF2, then onto digital Sony Cybershot 5mp lol, Sony Alpha A65, Fujifilm X-T30II and my "flying Camera" DJI Mini 3 Pro
speaking of slrs that feel like leica, that xd11 of yours was actually developed as a collaboration between minolta and leica and became the basis of the leica r series. my top 5 (of cameras i've actually own and use): nikon fm2 leica m4p hasselblad 500cm canonet ql17 giii canon eos3
I just got a Zeiss Ikon Contaflex II, I have a Minolta XG-1 in the mail. I have Polariods SX-70, SX-70 model 3, one step plus with q-light, a one step closeup, and a sun 660. A Sony Cyber Shot DSC-H300. And finally, I have a Kodak Pix-pro AZ528. Oh, and I also just ordered a Topcon Unirex.
Dude my Nikon L35af iso 1000 has that shutter glitch, what I do to get it firing again is tap the shutter with my finger multiple times and then it releases and advances the film. LOVE that camera though!!! Next to my Konica Big MINI F.
Currently just sold and got rid of my Nikon L35AF and an Olympus Infinity Zoom 230. My current collection is a Nikon F and F3, a Canon A35FML, and a Yashica T AF. Sadly broke my F3’s rewind knob so have to get that fixed so I can use that bad boy as much as possible again (and not break it this time).
My daily cameras are Fujifilm X-Pro2 and the Ricoh GRIII. For playing around, I love my Canon FTb QL, my Rollei 35 SE and - as plastic toy - the Ilford Sprite 35-II. Thanks for your channel, it's always a pleasure watching your content. Best regards from Switzerland!
My grIII is having that issue with the back ring, but it’s survived a fall from about waist height onto a dense carpet. I had a little lens issue, but it seems to have sorted itself out. Mostly. Still shoots great, even if I have to change the iso in the app… 😅
10:57 I have the Nikon L135AF and it’s an absolute gem! Super affordable and the lens is really sharp. Currently my girlfriend is on a trip to Peru with it and I’m excited to see what her shots look like!
(not in a particular order) 1. Voigtlander Bessa R2M 2. Pentax k1000 3. Olympus xa2 4. Sony rx100v 5. Sony a6400 About the ricoh griii honestly i think for a $1,000 camera to have issues with the weel and dust in the lens and sensor (wich becomes a major problem over time... a little time) its unacceptable, ive never have one, i would really like to, but they need to fix those quality issues first, my Sony rx100v and rx100 og, have endure year and years of heavy use and not a single problem.
Sweet collection man. I used to own the XE-1 but had to sell it to upgrade other gear. Regret that decision big time now Cameras I have Nikkormat FTN Nikon Fm3a Nikon F4 Nikon 1 v1 Nikon D850 Nikon Z6ii Nikon ZF Pentax K1000 Pentax Spotmatic F Contax 1 rangefinder Contax 2 rangefinder FED 5a Olympus Tough TG3 (water proof) Yeah I know but its just good fun. All power to you man. Enjoy Jealous of your M6!
So I don't have a top five because I currently own 2 of the 3 cameras I have bought lol. So right now for my heavy duty workhorse, its my Sony a6700 (traded in my a6400 for it) paired with my sigma lenses (30 F1.4, 56 F1.4, & 18-50 F2.8). Primarily because this was the camera I had when I shot my best photos which came from the Detroit Grand Prix Weekend. Pretty much waiting on the right telephoto lens to get with it (Sigma give me that 50-140 F2.8 lol). For my film fix, I came across a crazy deal on an Olympus OM-4 with the upgraded circuit (so no notorious battery drain issue). I've got a full suite of lenses for this sucker, 28 F2.8, 50 F1.8, 100 F2.8, & 75-150 F4. Cameras on my current want list which have basically become all film cameras now: Olympus OM-3/Ti (Mainly to get a fully mechanical experience and have a secondary film roll to sit inside ie use color in the OM-4, B&W in the OM-3, and vice versa switch when feeling it). Olympus Zuiko Glass: 50mm F1.2 or F1.4, 40mm F2, 35-70mm F3.6, 200mm F4 or F5 Mamiya 645 (some version, not sure which one) for a medium format fix. But not sure which variant assuming I get a choice.
Great collection, very jealous. My current collection of cameras are Nikon FM3a, Hasselblad 500cm, Olympus XA and AF1. The Nikon is my favourite but I do like the look of that Pentax 6x7, just need bigger muscles
My Ricoh GR II broke after 9000 actuations in 2 months. The flex cable that controls shutter, aperture and focus in the lens broke, it's a poor design since the flex cable bends inside every time the lens extend and retract. It's weird that my old Canon G9 from 2007 still works compared to a Ricoh GR from 2015...
im a newbie but the way you talk about cameras makes it feel less intimidating! I currently own a sony a6000 & a polaroid now+.... i'm now wanting to get a film camera soon!!
My top five are my favorites for all different reason, some because of the format, or the style, or purpose. 1. Canon IVSB2, my favorite compact screwmount rangefinder. I like it better than even the IIIg. 2. Nikon F100, favorite autofocus SLR, and my current go-to 3. Mamiya 645, with a waist level finder, my favorite hiking camera. 4. Olympus XA, my favorite "point and shoot", really a rangefinder. Nice and compact, great camera. 5. Nikon F, with eye level, it's built like a tank, and I've taken it everywhere
I sure cannot fault his selection of film cameras, as I own most of them myself (For me, a T2 instead of the Big Mini, but I bought my T2 back in the sane-price days). My one exception is the Canon MC. It was my first P-n-S camera. Without trying it out, I took it on my annual photo safari into the SW, lands of slot canyons and red rock, toting 35mm SLRs and a medium format view camera. U=I used the MC to keep a record of our doings along the way. Its results were disheartening at best. Lens is just terrible, and I mean worse than an XA or Mju. Not that sharp; massive vignetting. I never used it again. Don't know if I still have it somewhere, or tossed it out. It is amazing that the MC still seems to have some used value on eBay and such.

Cameras on my current want list which have basically become all film cameras now:
Olympus OM-3/Ti (Mainly to get a fully mechanical experience and have a secondary film roll to sit inside ie use color in the OM-4, B&W in the OM-3, and vice versa switch when feeling it).
Olympus Zuiko Glass: 50mm F1.2 or F1.4, 40mm F2, 35-70mm F3.6, 200mm F4 or F5
Mamiya 645 (some version, not sure which one) for a medium format fix. But not sure which variant assuming I get a choice.
Starting with :
1. Olympus OM2
2. Praktica LTL
3. Nikomat FT2
4. Pentax K1000
5. Olympus EM5
Great collection. What lens hood do you have on the Fuji 23mm f2?
Bronica gs1
Yashica 35gtn
Canon A-1
Kodak Six-16 art deco
All working and getting used
Great collection, very jealous. My current collection of cameras are Nikon FM3a, Hasselblad 500cm, Olympus XA and AF1. The Nikon is my favourite but I do like the look of that Pentax 6x7, just need bigger muscles
Do you guys keep your exposed films on the fridge?
My Ricoh GR II broke after 9000 actuations in 2 months. The flex cable that controls shutter, aperture and focus in the lens broke, it's a poor design since the flex cable bends inside every time the lens extend and retract. It's weird that my old Canon G9 from 2007 still works compared to a Ricoh GR from 2015...
im a newbie but the way you talk about cameras makes it feel less intimidating! I currently own a sony a6000 & a polaroid now+.... i'm now wanting to get a film camera soon!!
street photography with the pano. imagine the cool upclose shots you can get as people walk past!
What is your set up for shooting this video? What camera equipment are you using?

Kodak Retina IIc
Minolta Srt 102
Yashica Mat
Kodak Retina Reflex
Canon EOS 650 & 500n
I love and have the Yashica Sensation AF Panoramic (28mm f4.5 glass lens).
I have too many cameras. Top 5:

2. Chamonix 45N-2
3. Nikon FM3a
4. Mamiya RZ67
5. Nikon F2
Still waiting on that Nikon F3 VS Canon F1 video 🥲
If i could have all 6 nikon f cameras, I would! I already have the f2 and f3 and love them!
Thanks for sharing love all the cameras some I have never seen before pretty cool 😊 📷📸
Always wondered - what happened to your Summicron?
Didn't you also recently get a Canon F1? Or did you not mention that cause you aren't using it much?
Yeah just don’t use it much!
My xd11 is not reliable at all. It randomly sucks the batteries dry, especially if it is below 10 Celsius.
The Olympus OM cameras also have probably the largest viewfinders.
what about your Canon New F-1, you thrifted one, is it gone already again?
My 3 cameras:
- Canon A-1
- Canon F-1
- Voigtländer Vito B from my grandpa
What happen to the bessa r2a?
Let’s shoot this summer, I’m from NorCal too
I have the Canon SX740 & Polaroid Now+ 🤗
I just uploaded my very first ever video thanks to this video 😎
I'm a Leica collector, but i have 300+ other cameras, for ex: I have 21 Nikon Fm3a. Great video, follow you up since forever.
That's so cool! What is your current favorite camera?
@@RumoHasIt The M2 Leica for 35mm and Hasselblad 503Cw for 6x6 medium format.
Pentax 67 🤤
My top five are my favorites for all different reason, some because of the format, or the style, or purpose.
1. Canon IVSB2, my favorite compact screwmount rangefinder. I like it better than even the IIIg.
2. Nikon F100, favorite autofocus SLR, and my current go-to
3. Mamiya 645, with a waist level finder, my favorite hiking camera.
4. Olympus XA, my favorite "point and shoot", really a rangefinder. Nice and compact, great camera.
5. Nikon F, with eye level, it's built like a tank, and I've taken it everywhere
Honorable mentions: Nikon F3, Nikon FM, Minolta Autochord, Minolta X570, Canon A1, Canon AT, Practica FX, Contax II, and Contax D.
Contax 139
EVERY PHOTOGRAPHER: "i have big hands" 😂😂😂
Mate! Hide your eyes from the camera to focus on gadgets.
It's like watching One month 2 camera (Male Version) lol
I have way too many to list out. LOL!
You have a nice little collection. Thanks for sharing.
No.1 Nikon Z9 (Best system camera upto now),
No.2 Nikon D850 (Best DSLR camera),
No.3 Nikon F6 (Best SLR camera),
No.4 Nikon F4s (Most versatile SLR camera),
No.5 Nikon SP (Best RF camera).
Sure shot a1 for $40-50? Nah definitely not.. haven’t seen one for anything less than $150-200 usd
