She was talented to the extent of the greatest jazz/soul singers of any generation. Her struggles with substance abuse lead to immeasurable tragedy. RIP Amy!
im 54 and at the time my 21 yr old daughter (when Amy was23 i fell in like with her young innocent but an old soul at the same time. my Gem is 33 yrs old now and grateful to her i turned her on to great music and she returned the favor
She did help herself. She did not take drugs during the last two years of her life, but still she used to drink a lot. At least she tried. Addictions are not easy.
She was so talented. She almost puts a jazz twist to the song here. As someone already said - she hardly ever sang a song the same twice! A real natural and such a loss. Miss her lots.

I see now, she needed that guitar on stage more! Jesus, why didn't the team this before. She always more comfortable the guitar and it gave her support on stage. Blast man, we lost one of the greatest singers of all time.
