    Love your videos!
FYI. I'm a mortician. Those are caskets. No one uses the archaic term coffin anymore. We also store our casket's vertically. It saves space. Also, those flies are called crypt flies. When a body is entombed it is usually placed in a gasket sealed casket. Then it's placed onto a plastic tray inside the crypt. Usually, but, not always the crypts have ventilator fans. As the body decomposes it produces methane gases called mercaptans or thiols. The fans are supposed to cause a negative draft so visitors won't notice the smell of decomposition. Sometimes, even though the decedent has been placed in a hermetically sealed casket, bodily fluids will leak from the casket and that's why the plastic trays are there. Back to those those cute, little crypt flies. They love to feed on decomposed remains. They will lay their eggs on the body and within about a month they will hatch and you'll see them flying around the mausoleum. Ain't nature wonderful?

The original "Psycho" is still my favorite horror movie today & it's all because of Anthony Perkin's portrayal of Normal Bates. He was perfect for the role & I loved watching him scare many generations. lol Thank you for focusing on a wonderful entertainer that died far too young.

I spilled my popcorn getting up to claim my prize, much to the laughter of the entire theater. Still, it was a great memory, and I really enjoyed the film.

I recall one of Hitchcock's interviews where he was asked about his penchant for long takes of close ups of Anthony Perkins while filming 'Psycho', particularly his angular jaw and its movements. Hitch said it was to further show the audience how bird-like 'Norman' was, but that his camera was just in love with Hopkins's expressions and ease with which he switched from mild-mannered to Mama.
Fun fact: Tony Perkins's son Oz played one of Elle Woods's new friends at Harvard law school in 'Legally Blonde'.
PS: When you two head to Europe, please consider going to Monaco for a little (Princess/Queen) Grace Kelly documentation! She fits right in with your Hitchcock group vlogs! LOVE "Rear Window" (Jimmy Stewart, Grace Kelly, Raymond Burr...) and THAT dress (navy blue w white tulle skirt) would look fanTABulous on Jessica!

Another fascinating video. I once had the pleasure of meeting Anthony in the mid 80s when he was here in England playing an English spy in a limited series called The Glory Boys. We chatted for awhile, and he told me he was having problems mastering an English accent. ( In the finished series, it was very good by the way!) He signed an autograph and wished me well. A terrific actor and a very nice man. We lost him far too soon.

In the biography, it told that Vampira loved to play pranks on Mr. Perkins, and some are such Lou-Lous, that they cannot be repeated in this comment, but they sounded exceptionally fun.... hehe.... I wish I could have been around at the time to witness... Any-Hoo, I loved this episode, GriMMs, and the REAL heart felt slant that you took on it---- it shows, but good... I did not know Anthony Perkins marched with Dr. King. That is amazing. ❤

Check out 'On the Beach' starring Perkins and several more big Hollywood hitters. He does a great job as a military officer who is facing the loss of civilization after a nuclear war and, on a much more personal note, that of his pregnant wife to radiation sickness. It's a sad look at the cold war fears I grew up with as a child, but worth that look.

Loved this! Thank you. Also, I noticed when Anthony Perkins was speaking interpreting Hitchcock...Hitchcock never smiled or laughed! Maybe he was on the inside! Take good care!

Great video as always, read in free book with Empire Magazine that Anthony Perkins died filming Psycho V but never read it anywhere else so I don't know how much validity to that statement there is, I would have bet money would have mentioned The Black Hole but along those lines I'm so glad you mentioned Psycho 1998 because not only do I love that movie and will defend it to my last but Robert Forster was in that film with Anthony Perkins.
Also so glad you mentioned Anne Heche, I felt like I was one of the few people that mentioned her while she was in the hospital, I love how frank she was in the making off documentary, and never get sick of seeing her in that film, also great how she drives past an advert for one of her own film in er that film, all the best from the UK.
Also really happy that Os Perkins was born the same year as me in 1974,

    Rocking video!!
California has so many cool places to go!!
    Perkins was awesome. Horror icon.
We use to explore the streets of neighborhoods around there by skateboarding. It was fast, easy, and still fun. Like you said, you can't park anywhere anyways

Great video Michael! If you ever find out where Anthony Perkins' remains are, please let us know. I was a big fan of Jack Klugman. I watched him on The Odd Couple and Quincy M.E. Just for future reference, the u in his last name is pronounced "uh". Just letting you know. No biggie 🙂

Anthony Perkins' widow Berry Berenson was on the first plane to hit the twin towers. She was flying to LA to be with their sons for the anniversary of Anthony's passing which was Sept 12 1992. Crazy crazy twist of fate.

THANK YOU for spending so much time out in the heat to make us happy and doing so much research to provide us with information we otherwise wouldn't know about. THANK YOU also for taking me outside to places I would never get to see any other way. I only get to go to my Dr.'s appointments because of back injuries. Sending you both HUGS! Stay, happy, healthy and safe!!!💜🖤🧡👻

Oftentimes, I am surprised at how LARGE in life the celebrity was and how humble in death with just the tiniest plain-jane stone & name.

Jack Klugman was also great in Grumpy Old Men. Very interesting seeing those coffin size boxes lined up. Hope you can find out more on them.
