Thank you so much for the mention, it's an honor! I hope you had fun in your adventures in Eorzea and beyond. FFXIV is truly the only game on the market that allows for such a diverse range of player activities. I've been playing since 2013 and will continue doing so for the foreseeable future. I can't wait to see what the future holds for our most beloved MMORPG!
Great video. Thank you. Number 1 was a shocker for me. I have Secondary progressive MS and losing functionality of my arms/hands. Being able to use a device to continue to play games from reading my brain is *wow* moment for me. ❤
with technology anything is possible, sorry about your MS though, take heart, there was a guy, I do not know if it was GameRanx or someone else that covered it but a top rank competitive gamer in the fighting games is quite like that and uses a specially made controller that uses his mouth and what movement he has with his hands and beat this one egocentric douche so badly that he keeps saying the other dude cheated. so I hope you can keep playing for as long as you want to
Ya but they are the Watchmojo of gaming. Same handful of games presented slightly differently depending on the list. Same format all content farms use. You are being fooled.
The part about Final Fantasy A Realm Reborn is incredibly true. I just started replaying it after six years away, and one of the first things I noticed where bards hanging out almost in every major city or town playing some incredibly beautiful songs. During peak time it was just mind blowing seeing a bunch of bards all hanging out playing music together. It's really incredible.
No need for any giga billion dollar company to build a metaverse when FFXIV exists. Limsa is always popping in the evening with some of the most insane bards just casually hanging out by the Aetheryte
That was something that happened a LOT in LOTRO when they introduced the ability to play your instrument fully. I participated in a few quartets in random taverns all over the land.
@@JeffGreenNV It really did! I got to join in @ Weatherstock in LotRO and loved playing tunes around the taverns! Once you start making art in games it's hard to stop
I just discovered it a few days ago. A random group was playing "THE HERO" from One Punch Man. I sat and listened for a while. Then I chatted to the band for a bit and it turns out they go to Gridania most nights. Eventually I asked for a request, and they played it. I was amazed. Licensed music though, so they kind of broke the rules I guess?
Bards in ff14 are amazing they play all sorts of music... shame 99.9% of all bards in FF14 use bard music player, its fun getting them done for using 3rd party software though
Still apart of this amazing theatre company on fallout an can confirm we love doing what we do. To entertain everybody that watches. Thanks for recognizing our amazing group . Love the channel .
Thank you so much for the shout out @ number 7. Great to see all these other projects too! Yes we do love Fallout 76 despite it's flaws--and yes we have been Nuked =D =D
There's some guys that get through nightmare mode in Ghost of Tsushima Legends solo. The Survival modes require 4 players covering three areas and if you lose too many areas you are overrun and lose. It's difficult enough with four players let alone one. I won't even mention the raids. One guy took me and my brother through a raid using bomb jumps and other hacks to get us through. It blows my mind what some players can do.
The first time I came across the band in Final Fantasy XIV, I heard Take on Me playing somewhere in the background. After that I was like, yeah, FFXIV is pretty awesome. What a great community.
Perrikaryal just proves games can be played in diff ways regards the disabilities, the option to play a game thru brain waves should be an accessibility feature in the future.
I spontaneously saw the songbirds playing live not too long ago, that was an awesome event to run into! Honestly didn't know there were people refining that mechanic that much
Number 8 just unlocked a memory I'd forgotten about from GTA 3 (May have been GTA:VC or GTA:SA too)IIRC. My cousin and I ended up making a bull ride type of game within the game. We'd get on top of a car with a NPC driving it and just shoot a gun in the air. And the car then takes off as the NPC speeds away trying to get away from the shooter I.E. you lol. We'd always try to see how long we could outlast each other on these "bull rides" before eventually being flung off the car. I remember in some instances if I'd hold the down button (D Pad or thumbstick) and walk toward back of vehicle it'd slow the vehicle down a little. Miss those days when we could just play around with game mechanics cause we had no other priorities lol
One of the coolest things I've done in BoTW was when a Bokoblin and I were exchanging arrows at one another, my arrow was a regular and his was a fire arrow. When he got hit with my arrow, he got lit on fire. How did that happen with my regular arrow? Both our arrows crossed paths and his fire arrow lit my arrow on fire
Legit, Fallout 76 has one of the most beautiful communities I've ever come across. Helpful, positive, and incredibly open to new players. That no one has nuked one of their shows yet isn't even kind of surprising to me. It is the antithesis of gta online.
We have had our rehearsals nuked. We have also had grievers show up dressed like Chally the Moo Moo and try to disrupt our rehearsals - those guys are the worst. But 90% of the time people come in, sit down, and watch respectfully.
Love Gameranx and the videos they make! If the number 1 gets more refined I can see vr gaming becoming more intense and honestly anime like (meaning like vr gaming in anime such as Overlord, Bofuri, ..Hack sign, and the overly discussed Sao)
LOVE the mention of solo D2 raids. As a player myself, it's absolutely monumental when we get hardcore guardians pulling off something this complex in the endgame
This channel has the best videos. I rarely skip one of their new vids. Not a lot of channels on my sub list that I can say that about The fact that GTA 5 players are still finding new things to do in a game that's been around for over 10 years is incredible. Rockstar has a big challenge in trying to top it with GTA 6
Amazing vid 👏🏻 truly anything is impossible for creative gamers 😂 love the StealthGamerBR shoutout too, seen a lot of his far cry vids and am always amazed
fallout 76 to this day in my opinion has the best community, you barely meet toxic people, people always helping new players or just creating camps to just make journeys more interesting
I can't even imagine the dedication of many gaming things. Between other games and hobbies, my family, my friends and being a dad I have no idea how anyone could do it. I guess if I only played 1 game but I am way too diverse for that.
Theater groups in MMORPGs has been a thing for a very long time. I remember one very early on the roleplay server for World of Warcraft. I believe there is one in Final Fantasy 14 as well
Playing video games via EEG was very cool and is absolutely how I envision the future of gaming. I also see it as a means to truly have cybernetic limbs for soldiers (and others) who have lost arms or legs.
Imagine combining a VR game like Half Life Alyx with the an EEG controller device. You could have the ultimate Jedi experience in a Star Wars game, force-pushing NPCs with your mind 🤯
i honestly love Fallout 76. its got everything in a game that I've always wanted. FPS, looter, open world, crafting and scavenging, light survival mechanics, upgrading and modding weapons with legendary effects. no other game that i know of has all that.
My Wasteland Theatre friends ❤. Fallout 76 doesn't deserve the crap anymore, so much has changed over the years & it is consistently getting better. If you haven't played it in a while, hop on & you'll soon see. They actually rehearse live too because private servers are limited, and there have been instances where people have nuked them during rehearsal. But anybody can just wander over & watch them, their mics are on so you can hear everything that's happening, and then the final production is livestreamed. 👍😎👍
someone sent this to me the other day, but someone made a sitcom pilot in VR Chat called Cleaning Crew, obviously it wasn't perfect but it's insane a group of people put in that kind of effort in VR Chat
I’m not sure what accessibility options Sekiro has, but blind gamers definitely exist. I’ve heard recent stories of fighting games having specific audio cues to allow blind gamers to play.
EEG Gaming has a whole subculture for years now. Going all the way back to mid 2010s and people playing WoW and various RPG and FPS games at the time with their mind.

About the Zelda entry. People do that in Genshin. Genshin will keep the arrow in memory and even deal damage. Some people have done a form of "shooting star" fireworks as well with it since different bow elements are colored for their element.
Final Fantasy XIV is amazing on that, there's theater groups, music, even movies made entirely inside the game as machinima, clubs with DJs, the entire thing is amazing!
The Songbirds in FFXIV are fabulous. But there is much more. If you research a bit you'll find that there are also entire theatre plays that take place live as you mention from Fallout 76, but they also get streamed on Twitch sometimes. During lockdown there were even entire conventions with talks (on Twitch but in game), games, cosplay contests and even signing sessions with famous streamers.
In the case of playing the stealth games, there was this guy on TH-cam who pulled off some incredible moves. His channel name is Rabbit Respawn on TH-cam but he stopped uploading a long time ago.

We also got FFXVI developed by the same guy who brought back XIV back to life.
