So happy for yall that first drive in a Hot Rod is rewarding especially when its fought you so much. Looking forward to seeing it buttoned up and what adventures you go on with it

I can relate to the windshield struggles. In 1997, My high school age son helped me install a new windshield in the 1971 Ford F100 he was driving to school. Later on I heard him describe it as a "stressful hour and a half"!

Where did you get windshield & glass?? I like how you did more with less to get the old IH on the road !! Good job !! I'm building a "53 IH on a "71 C10 frame with air bags and doing so with little to no money. Which as you know is not easy to do !?!?

@@kuzz7919 there is a seller on eBay that had that whole kit. Everything fit nicely and I am very happy with it. If you can’t find it I would be happy to send you a link.

You may have already posted it somewhere in the description but could you tell me what engine that is in the IH? Awesome content, keep it coming!

It's a 351w. Has a decent cam, ported and polished gt40 heads, ported intake, running open headers.

That engine sounds like the 351w I have in my 01 ranger

I use harbor freight jumper cables to make my long battery cables.
Way cheaper than buying the wire. Cut the ends off and crimp my ends on.

That's a fantastic idea. I may actually have some old jumper cables laying around that have heavy enough wire to make that work. I got the last set of long cables I used from an old BMW i was parting out. They have the battery in the trunk from the factory and have a nice long cable.

Pull battery cables out of a buss or a dump truck in a junk yard. They will be plenty long enough and cheeper then new ones.
