Lookin forword to seeing that car again!

This is perhaps the most unexpected rescue Firebird I've seen. Manual steering, ram air pans, ram air long branch manifolds, and a 389 engine. It's missing the cooling fillers but most other clues are there. Either this is a car that someone swapped all the Ram Air 1 parts onto or it's an early RA1 car. It would be worth getting the Pontiac Historical packet on it to see if it is a factory Ram Air car because of its obvious value. Much less the fact you bought 2 cars at once that have the super rare long branch manifolds! This would indicate a possibility of the other car being a factory 400HO car. Also rare. The motivational laps at the end were pure joy, nice work fella!

Looks like 092 heads from a 1966 389 on the 4 speed engine. Long branch manifolds on both cars and the ram air pans on the auto car are worth some coin.

Mortske says it's never the coil though. Lol.

Did you notice that you were not getting any exhaust smoke out of the right pipe . You should have some .

Those gaskets are for later model heads.some people cut the middle part off the gasket and cover that square hole with aluminum from soda can.as a performance mod.

I'm curious is that a Ram air motor?

The Park Avenue/Town Sedan was several inches shorter than other Series 62 cars. It came about because Cadillac owners were complaining that the "regular" Cads wouldn't fit in the garage. The Park Avenue/Town Sedan was Cadillac's response. The car didn't sell very well. The fact that the "regular" Cadillac was shorter than the 59/60 didn't help matters any.

The Fairlane 500 had a different, lower wrap around back window and much thinner rear corner posts.

Ford never advertised the Galaxie as a type of Fairlane, only as the FORD GALAXIE. Check out period advertising if you don't believe me.

This is a Galaxy, not a Fairlane. The Fairlane had a wrap around rear window and much thinner rear corner posts.

It's unbelievable that you find these motorcycles somewhere in the woods. As far as I know, nothing can be found here in Europe. I have been looking for a Kawa Z900, 750 or 650 from 1973 for years. To restore. Or something like that from the early 70's.

Don't now how much you paid for it but if you get it running, you can probably sell it for 500 to 700, more that bike cleaned up painted, polished, would be a nice around town and even longer trips wouldn't be a bad bike at all,
