So no mention of the fact that Annabeth temporarily took over The Titan's Curse from Atlas and held the the whole damn world on her back!??!?!?? Kinda the coolest part of the book. And it permanently solidifies Annabeth's status as a total badass.

Nico was my favorite new character. He was so cute when he was younger and so fascinated by the world he was living in. It was just so frickin' adorable

1) you're absolutely gonna see more Apollo. Without giving away anything, there's a whole series about him now ☺.
2) Nico's my fave, and if you wanna know why, you're gonna have to read the second series. Even if I didn't like them as much as the first series, and the last book in that one left a lot to be desired, in my eyes, anyway (this if blasphemy in the fanbase, btw), it REALLY develops Nico.
I absolutely agree about Nico. I only have one other friend whose even started reading it, and she dislikes Nico, and I do not know why. As in, HE WAS TRYING TO PREVENT A WAR, NOT JUST BEING SELFISH/STUPID

I feel sorry for the kid but I don't get the hype. kay. so i never liked bianca. i thought she was so selfish for choosing the hunt so quickly over her brother. i understand her character, but i was really just sad for nico when she was "lost" not her. ZOË THOUGH. FUCKING ZOË. I WAS SO SAD. also, Apollo is amazing, and you'll see more of him in the future. christines (polandbananasbooks) favorite book is the battle of the Labyrinth, so i hope you like it. NICO IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE CHARACTERS. NO COMPETITION.
I liked Bianca's character because of the fact that she was the daughter of Hades and was afraid of death. That really was a cool aspect on a child of Hades that I really enjoyed.

Actually, I can understand why Bianca kind of was tired of taking care of her brother, I mean, that's the only thing she did in her life but now that she was at Camp Half-Blood I thought that she could get more friends and she didin't really had to leave the camp so she could start having kind of a life (damn gods) so I think that the hunt was a bit unecessary
Nico is my favourite out of every single RR character. Thalia and Percy constantly fight for second :P

1. BAE ANNABETH! Yesss. Literally this book is what made me decide that Annabeth is my favorite character because I missed her so much.
2. It made me so made when Bianca when she chose to join. Ack! (you literally just said it and I already forget what it's called...this is why I should pause while I comment...)
3. I still have such mixed feelings about Zoe. I need to reread it.

I'm currently re-reading the Percy Jackson series again, and I just finished the Titan's Curse and started the Battle of the Labyrinth. So this was a nice review video for me to watch. I think my favorite scene is the Dam scene where their making all the jokes. That always makes me laugh. How do you feel on Rachel Elizabeth Dare so far? You know more about her later on in the series. But I personally really like her. And what about Bessie? What did you think of him? I thought that he was an interesting character to add.
lmao I was into Rachel until I realized she was gonna be a problem to Percy and Annabeth. I forgot about everything that happened in book 4 but I'm pretty sure that when she became the oracle I was cool with her again (can't remember if that was 4 or 5)
@@Claudia-ty5yr Lol I totally understand the Percabeth interferance, no one wants anything to happen to that! I absolutely LOVE it when she becomes the oracle. It added so much to her character.
How did you feel about having Thalia around in this book?
Brilliant. I was Soo happy, Thalia had been kinda my favourite character even b4 she came back from the dead. I mean--dam it, she gave her dam life for her dam friends!

Broc Theil Rachel is one of my fave character. I like how even if she's not really part of Percy/ greek world...she still wants to help them(Percy). I think she's a kick butt character even if she don't know how to kill monsters. and lets talk about how she hit Kronos with a blue hairbrush😍

I've always thought that they wanted them so young so that they are not in the middle of puberty. I imagine it would be easier to swear off boys forever if you're not swimming in hormones. Also, I'm happy you've finally met Nico. He is probably the most complex character in the entire series, and the favorite of most of my friends.

Nico saw Percy as a real hero just like the ones from the stories and the game he was obsessed with. He thought that Percy was perfect a hero who couldn’t possibly fail. He made Percy promise in such high hopes that Percy would fulfill it. But Percy isn’t a perfect hero. And when Percy told Nico about Bianca’s death, it shattered him because he trusted Percy. He believed in Percy, but Percy wasn’t able to be the hero Nico thought he was. That. Scene. Killed. Me.
This is also where we get to see our first Titan.

There were so many great moments with Percabeth. Their dance at Westover Hall was so cute and then Thalia called them out for just standing there not doing anything. 🤣 I also love how they both share a silver streak in their hair since they both held up the world. I hope it'll be kept in future books. In this book, you can definitely see that Percy has feelings for Annabeth, and when she sees Luke or he's mentioned, he gets jealous knowing she still has feelings for him still. I'm still not quite sure how I feel about Thalia. I do find her a little annoying but the part when she decided to join the Hunt and said good-bye to Percy and Annabeth and she hugged Percy and considered him a friend was so sweet. From that scene, I started to like her character a bit more. As for Bianca, I liked her but I also disliked her because of what she did to Nico. I understand because of how long she took care of Nico and she wanted to do something with her life but she pretty much left him to fend for himself and he was always worrying about her. She then sacrifices herself. I don't think it was the right choice. I also didn't like Zoë at first but after hearing her backstory that she was disowned by her sisters, I felt bad for her and started to like her more. Her death though was one of the saddest. Even though she was poisoned by the dragon, she still kept on fighting, and then when she passed away, she became a constellation and was seen running in the sky holding her bow and arrow. That part was so beautiful. How come when there is a character you start to like, they're always killed off? It's so unfair! 😔

Happy birthday! So glad that your finally reading this series & I loved Lizzy McGuire! Expect the unexpected in Rick Riordan's books. Nico is my favorite character out of all of uncle Rick's books and my favorite moment in this book was (had to watch my book discussion to remember) pg.36 where Nico is interrogating Percy.
My favorite scene was when dr chase flies in during the final batter like an ac-130 from the 1940s
I loved that apollo called Artemis “baby sister” It was so adorable I miss Zoe tho I finished the book in 5th grade I was like crying in class I’m in 8th now
I used to read this book series over and over and whenever it got to the scene with Zoë and the stars I'd sob.

It's extremely remarkable how Nico changed in a short time. But either way, I love him. He is creepy in a way, but powerful. Like his father, Hades (oooopps, that's a spoiler for people who haven't read the third book... But seriously, if they have seen the video and now are enjoying the comments or reading comments while the video is paused, they are already spoiled either way. They should know better, the comments will be full of spoilers. So it's not gonna be my fault).

I found having Thalia and Percy together instead of Annabeth and Percy together was so interesting, since Annabeth and him work so seamlessly together and Thalia and him have this constant bickering sort of back and forth that I loved

I think an aspect of The Hunt that everyone forgets is how back in Ancient Greece that it was a revolutionary idea for girls because they didn't have to marry. Most girls were forced into marriage at a young age without much consent and to have a goddess who stands up for them is great. One of the reasons Artemis is my favorite goddess
