an ember in the ashes because after I finished the book in school I immediately needed the next one. So I decided that when my mom and I got to San Antonio, TX I'd go to half-price books and get the sequel. AND WHEN I DID MY LIFE WAS COMPLETE😇😇😇
Ohhhh, "Ember in the ashes"... 💖💕💖 I was obsessed by this book. Unfortunately, the other two books will never be translated in my native language, so I am very, very disappointed. But that didn't stop me - although my English is not good enough, I urgently ordered the second part and now, once again, I am into Sabaa Tahir's world.

I usually don't like contemporary but here's a few I loved: Eleanor and park, summerlost, everything everything, if i stay, since you've been gone, need (although this is more like a scifi contemporary if that makes sense)
The worst time for me was when I finished Lord of Shadows, I won't spoil it but anyone who's read it knows about the HUGE thing that happens at the end and I couldn't find the third book anywhere

"A darker shade of magic"...Lucky I got "A Gathering of shadows" right after but I have to wait for NINE! DAYS! for "Conjuring of Light" and I don't even have a local book store to go to. That was real torture. After I finally got to the D-Day. The day the book is going to deliver, It's a storm outside and I'm already dead because there is no way the Amazon guy gonna deliver it in this weather. But my prayers have been answered. Then again it got dark by the time I have it in my hands and it's a blackout! Urgh!!!! Lucky me my parents are not home, So I read the book under my mobile torchlight...phew~ Finally.
That is why I alway wait till the series finished and buy them in a box set ( also avoid inconsistency in cover). One down side is that the hype for that series often dies down...

My book were I went out of my way for was the elemental series by brigid kemmer. I was introduced to the series by a friend and she had the whole series n gave me the first book. I finished that book that same day and the next day got my mum to go to her house n get my the next 2 this is like a 6 or 5 book series and I finished it all within the 2 weeks. It was beutaiful
