Dionysus' son dying was so heartbreaking, because it's like the first time I ever saw a good actually caring about his children and it was just so sad. I died.

I share that salt about Daedalus. I've read Battle of the Labyrinth twice now, AND I STILL DIDN'T SEE THE DAEDALUS/QUINTUS. How awesome is Mrs. O'Leary though?
yup, it's "DAY-daa-lus." in greek mythology he was Icarus' dad. he built the labyrinth for the minotaur and made the wings to for them to escape but Icarus flew too high. Daedalus is also a great song by my favorite band, Thrice!
Man I need to reread this series, I can barely think of any other parts in the book besides what you mentioned 😬. I really liked the labyrinth, especially when Percy was cleaning the horse stalls and Annabeth almost got them killed because she was complaining about how easy the sphinx's questions were. And yeah, I like Rachel. Not saying anything else on that topic.

The Calypso section partially pissed me off and partially broke my heart. 7. This is the book that made me realize that Grover is one of my favorite characters. 8. Yes Paul. I love Paul.

I know this is idiotic but The Battle Of The Labyrinth is the first book I read in this series, and I FELL IN LOVE WITH IT. I knew nothing about this series and I went to this fancy bookstore and they didn't have the first book so I grabbed this instead. And believe me this book is so good it has dragged me over to the Heroes Of Olympus
I love Rachel. she's awesome in her own way, but I can't say much on that cause spoilers. For some reason I always imagine the coffin Kronos is in as this little box with sand with Luke buried in the sand somehow fitting in this really small box.
I really enjoyed this book too. I don't like Hera because of what she did to Hercules but the scene with Hera was interesting. Calypso being forced to stay on the island for supporting her father was so sad. They always sent heroes they knew couldn't stay with her and she always fell in love with them. That is just cruel, and I think she felt the same way about Percy but I'm not sure. I was a little confused about that part. But it looked to me like she did because Percy was shocked when she told him that. The scene when Annabeth switched tables and sat very close to Percy was so cute. That was the only thing he was thinking about. I also noticed he thought about Annabeth a lot in this book as well, which I loved. 😍 I also loved Percy's reaction when Annabeth kissed him on the cheek. It was so adorable. He liked it but didn't know what was going on. I didn't expect for Quintus to also turn out to be Daedalus. I thought he was just someone like Tantalus but nope. I was glad when he came back, redeemed himself, and fought alongside them. I also didn't expect for him to sacrifice himself either to destroy the labyrinth for good. I was like, "What?" 🙄
I HATE Rachel. You have to understand that I loathe anyone that gets between my OTP and Percabeth is my NUMBER ONE OTP so yeah. Just wait until the Last Olympian (which I know you already finished)
When you get to the Heroes of Olympus series, I totally recommend listening to the audiobooks. I personally think that they are good, and it's nice to know exactly how the weird names are pronounced. I like listening to them when I'm driving anywhere and walking to and from school. Totally recommend! = D
