Man even though it lacks a couple features the photos and video look great. Sounds like it’s definitely worth the small purchase price and something I’m gonna keep in mind next time I get one. Great job on the video brother, I really like the studio your filming in, looks awesome!

Thanks for a good video. I just bought three of these cameras from Amazon. I’m going to put them out on my hunting lease later this week. I will be sure to bring my owners manual along. I hope they will work well. So far I was impressed by your video.

I must admit that I like stuff like this. Dirty cheap but does the job. If you know what you're doing and have everything dialed in you don't really need anything else. Especially when you need a lot of them or like you mentioned in high risk area. Good picture + good trigger speed. Thanks for the review, defo the one to keep in mind.

Great review! I actually have owned this camera for about 6 months already and have been very impressed! I used alkaline batteries and got about 5 months with at least 150 pictures a week Before it died.

I bought a 2 pack from amazon. They work great! Unfortunately 1 of mine stopped working after 1 month. Other one is going strong. Great night pics. I guess i'll see how their customer service is. Wish me luck.

Thanks! The manufacturer managed to manufacture a trail camera that does the most important things right: image quality (surprisingly good), trigger delay, trigger sensitivity even on tiny animals, robust construction. The missing features could be irritating, but, with the exception of the missing sound recording and the absence of programmable active times, they are not an absolute necessity.
You’re right. When it comes down to it...it’s a camera and good photos and videos are a must 👍
Hi, Great video. We have one of these and we used it a few times and it worked fine for daylight and night vision but then it rained and the night vision has not worked since. I'm not sure why. Is there a setting to turn it on and off? I couldn't find one. Thank again. Peace.
There isn’t a setting that turns the IR on or off. Usually if a cam takes daytime pictures or video but not nighttime, it’s a battery issue. Low battery power doesn’t allow the IR to work properly. The camera should be able to handle rain and still operate. If the camera took on water the warranty should be able to help you out. Hope you get back up and running again soon 👍

Hey Dave , just watched your tutorial for the settings and forgot how good the quality of the video was day or night. Definitely need to get a couple. And then figure out how to lock em up.
Hey Don! The cameras are python lock compatible but the python lock would cost about as much as the camera itself 😁
Thanks Dave , A lock and a camera for 80 bucks is still better than 80 bucks for 2 cameras to have them both stolen. Bummer the world is that way but lock up you stuff on public land or potentially lose it seems to be the norm these days.

You aren't likely to find a budget camera with all the bells and whistles, but that footage and the pics looked pretty good to me. It's plenty clear enough to see exactly what you're looking at.

I'm very impressed with this trail camera I just wanted to see what other options there are.
This is probably the cheapest. I have used numerous Victure cameras that do well for me. The HC300 and the HC600 are some of my favorites and probably run $50 to $60. 👍

Is it possible that you can do a video on how to set up the camera. Push this button, push this up and all of that . What is the ok button and when you shut the door it is ready. Mine never took a picture. Thanks. First camera and this is not working.
I would gladly do a detailed video on its setup but it might take me a bit. Very busy time of the year for me 😁
Ok, do you place it in the aim slot or the on position after attaching to the tree to start taking pictures?
You will want it on the on position. If I remember correctly, when you switch it to the on position and close the latches, there should be a light on the outside that flashes for a few seconds.

Did you notice any moisture getting into the camera? I bought one of these and noticed moisture on the inside of the picture window and in the battery compartment.

How do you delete the photos while SD card is inserted?
You can format the sd card in the menu options (which will delete all photos at once)
Watching all your trail cam videos make me want to get one, but here in NJ it would vanish real quick.
I could see that might be a problem. You’d have to hide a camera to watch your camera 😜

I do. Usually neighbor teenagers. I once had a logger on a land joiners property spot my cam and walked over and “mooned” the camera 😂🤣😂

This Wosoda camera is very similar to the Walmart $28.88 Tasco camera. Same latches and menu set up. The battery tray looks about the same. I have a Wosport Mini trail (4 battery camera) & the current Tasco 12MP trail cameras. Set up is identical except for the Wosport allows you to pick the 2MP or 16MP setting, and the Tasco is only 12MP. These current models do not work with Mac software, & that's a bit disappointing compared to the older Tasco 8MP & 10MP models. I suspect the Wosoda model is exactly the same as the Tasco except for the MP setting, too. All my older Tasco trail cameras failed within one or two seasons, & I dislike the lack of pic counter & battery level display. The quality of pics are quite good and night pics are decent (except up close). Outside of the stated MP, the Tasco & this Wosoda model appear to be the same. The Hi/Low setting are probably the two MP choices (not flash setting) like my Mini I have.

Brand new and mine will not take night photos
I’m sure you put in new batteries but usually if the camera work during the day but not at night it’s a battery issue. Maybe there was a bad battery in the bunch?? It could also be a bad camera...if that’s the case, I’m sure Wosoda will stand behind it. 👍
Actually my Vecture hc200 cost $40.00 and they have soouuunnnddd.
You’re right. I have several hc200 as well. They do have audio on their videos which is awesome. I will say if you’re comparing the two models, the Wosoda will take better video at night vs the hc200 but like you mentioned, no audio 👍
I purchased one of these from Amazon last year. It worked for about a week and that was the end o it. I sent it back and received a new one. The new one lasted about two weeks and no longer works. POS. Don’t waste your money on this.
