OMG!! THANK YOU FOR THIS VIDEO! I just ordered two of these and could not figure out how to set them up until your video! By the way..for the price these are awesome cameras with quality pictures! Thank you again!!!
So listen to Dave, because I took the SD card out without turning the camera off and lost 3 weeks worth of pics. Thanks Dave, wish I saw this earlier.. lol
Thank you. Just bought one of these in the UK. The written instructions confused me; your explanation was clear. It's getting put in the garden for tonight.
I have had this camera for a while now but for some reason I couldn't get it to work. I'm so happy I found your video as I now have a working camera/picture device I can use. I have a family of hedgehogs in my garden so will be fantastic to watch them and whatever else I get to see. Thank you so much for taking the time to make this tutorial for folk like me that are not so technical 👍🥰
Great tutorial Dave , I have to go back and watch the earlier video again just to see the quality of the video. For that kind of money I could get several. Thanks
4 sits so far, day 3 won’t have a video due to a mishap loading my GoPro footage into the computer, meaning I inadvertently deleted my head cam footage. Oops ! Oh well, not seeing too much anyhow but it’s still early. Need a better camera with a zoom instead of just GoPros but not in the budget just yet. Muzzleloader opens this Saturday. 👍
Thanks so much for this great video. As everyone else has said, it's confusing and the instructions are lacking. Is there any way to tell how much battery power is left?😊
They will operate below freezing but you must have good batteries! I highly recommend using Energizer Ultimate Lithium Ion batteries when it’s cold!! 👍
Thanks . After i had to reset w/ new batteries i so needed you. so thanks. The last part was what i needed to know. with the factory reset icon and the format icon setting. I also learned about turning it off before removing card. I did notice i never had done that before and yes if you remove it and do not turn off it will only give you the newest time you re-put card in and it does lose all previous pics. However i kind of like it to remove everything only because each time i take it out i load new pics in a folder on pc... so i am always glad to have only the new pics each time... so i guess for some it is ok not to turn it off i am thinking...But if you do not want to lose pics data best to turn it off for sure. Thanks so much, I learned something new today :)
I don't see any video settings so I guess I'm stuck with 10 seconds. Is there any way to make the motion detector start recording sooner? There seems to be about a 5-6 second delay from when something enters the area before recording stops.
I made it out to my Wosoda cam and double checked. You’re right, there is no video duration setting…only a delay setting. There is no sensor sensitivity setting either. It is a budget cam I guess 👍
This model takes photos or videos day or night. Many times if a camera works during the day but not at night it’s a battery issue. If the batteries are low on power the night IR takes too much power and the camera won’t operate correctly.
@@gortonthomas8411 that almost always means an issue with the sd card. Double check that it’s not too big (I forget if that camera has a 32 or 16 gb max). I’d also format the sd card by selecting delete all via the settings 👍
I just bought this camera, but every time I insert the sd card it says that is full, I formatted the sd and tried with multiple ones, still saying full! It’s frustrating
I’m not exactly sure what going on. Are you formatting the card inside the camera? (Delete all in menu options). Also how large is your SD card? I believe 32gb is Max for that camera
Thanks for watching. Cold weather is extremely hard on alkaline and rechargeable batteries. I highly recommend using Energizer Ultimate Lithium batteries. That will fix your cold weather problems 👍
Hello Dave. Excellent video! My settings are 05 second delay, video high. I caught a bear and the problem is I only have one second of video on it. I know it was there longer because it destroyed my bird feeder. Any suggestions? I would like to video record as long as possible. I see other videos and they are much longer than what I'm getting. Thank you for any help on this. 5 stars. 😀
Thanks for watching! I’m suspicious your batteries do not have enough power for a longer video!?! It’s a common issue when the videos are not as long as they’re supposed to be. Here is a video that I explain in more detail th-cam.com/video/T4RQHXevS7k/w-d-xo.html
Thanks for doing this video
I lost my instructions

Made it very easy to understand

OUTSTANDING! Honestly, and maybe I'm just dumb, but the manual seems very lacking. Your tutorial made setting up my 2 cameras a breeze! THANKS!
Thanks for watching and for the encouragement 👍
Thanks! Great job! Nice video, saved me time. Thanks! I didn't get a manual.

Great camera set up information
Thanks Dave! Have a great day 👍
My trail cam is recording in standby at least it looks like it because the seconds are counting up in standby. Is that possible?
Does it show how many pictures it took
Thanks helped a lot
I’m glad this was useful! Thanks for watching 👍
Thanks, great tutorial. Do you know what the USB port is for?
Thanks for watching. It’s possible to use the USB port to view the pictures on a computer without removing the sd card 👍
@@HuntingFarmerOfficial I tried connecting it to my phone and nothing happened. Any guess as to what I'm doing wrong? Thanks
@@dannyschacht4274 I believe it’ll have to be connected to a desktop or possibly a laptop that will recognize it as an external storage device
@@HuntingFarmerOfficial Thank you
What is the temperature rating for Wosoda brand trail cameras? Will they operate in freezing winter conditions? Thanks.

Dave I cant figure out to change the length of video on mine any help would be appreciated .
I’ll have to check, but I don’t believe the video length is adjustable on that model 🙁
@@HuntingFarmerOfficial Thanks Yeah I cant find a way to make it longer then 10 seconds
Any idea of how to do a passcode reset? Thank you
Sorry, I don’t know. It’s not meant to be an easy process (so the thief can’t easily do it)
Now that is a camra I need to look in to this top help brother

and again, so thankful i have this video saved...
I have this same camera just bought a few months ago for this upcoming hunting season. I can't seem to get it to take pictures. Any suggestions?
I’m not sure what is happening. Has it ever taken a picture? Are you sure you’re putting the camera to “on” mode and not leaving it on setup mode?

Hi Dave .. Nicely presented..What are the time durations on video please ?
Hi Bob. The video length is 10 seconds. There is no option for changing that. ☹️
@@HuntingFarmerOfficial ..Thank you Dave ..Don’t forget the 🌹 Rosemary!!
Is the time just the normal time
Sorry, I’m not quite sure what you mean?
My camera takes 10 second videos. How can I make it record longer?
Thanks for watching. You should be able to adjust video length in the menu when you select video settings
What kind of camera do you use to fold these videos I need to upgrade from a phone
This video was shot with a Canon SL2 and Canon GL2 (overhead cam) 👍

The wosoda g300 cam with COLOR LCD screen is much better at $43 amazon. I would not want this one you reviewed with cryptic menus.
