This aesthetic takes me back to times I was cocooned by my parents' and family's love. I feel things I don't wanna feel, because those times aren't coming back. Growing up is tough man.
Im recently wanting to use my parent’s old camera to record videos with friends on it. I love it so much, camera from 2006 and still working perfectly, i also like the early 2000s quality aesthetic it gives off on me
I'm fr so happy i have one of these somewhere in my house, my parents bought it when i was born and it hasnt been used for 13 years, now that im interested in photography im so grateful they bought it.
Same not the same camera but also found 3 of my parents 📸, I feel lucky cause all are early 2000s and is a Nikon, sony cybershot, Canon 🎉@@itsanisha4324
I am just 18 but I can still feel the sudden flash in which mobile phones came, now because of streaming cable TV is gone too. I enjoy the convenience but I feel no soul in any of these devices. I remember fighting with my sister over the TV remote then settling on a show we both enjoyed but now we can watch whatever we want whenever we want but alone. In the same house everyone became a stranger.
i found my dad's 2004 kodak digicam last month, its still use 128MB SD Card (too small compare to present day SD Card). it still works and nostalgic af
I have a digital camera from 2008 I got for Christmas. It takes better photos with better detail then my almost ten years newer phone. Sometimes it blurs around the edges of the pictures or some parts of it, I guess just because of how it works or taking pictures to fast. But it’s not bad and it gives a cool nostalgic look. I think old cameras or cameras in general are worth buying. And it was only 40-$50 at the time I believe. I can’t remember. Phones come and go but a good camera can last your whole life. They’re worth the investment!
Why not days built like these camera. Missed it so much now too big camera or action camera😭 only left. Miss tjose time hope we ever see digital camera back. Loved the video memories. I will buy if I find it🙌
my family was clearing out yesterday and ive now ended up with a digital camera from 2004, cant wait to start taking photos with it once we get the old photos off it
I think there’s something romantic about film photography, which is why it’s making a comeback and I understand the obvious draw to the newest digital cameras but I’m less convinced about technology like this in the middle. It’s not different enough from modern photography to be it’s own thing. It’s like modern photography but crappier
Hey there! I understand this and I honestly love using both film and high-end cameras, but what I love about "middle" technologies is that they are more accessible and affordable. It brings photography closer to everyone and can be a great tool to simply freeze memories :) Plus, this is something that almost all households have, which again brings photographer closer.
I think it is going to become more common to see digital as nostalgic/ vintage -lots young adults now never had a camera, only a smartphone so having a camera at all is sort of its own unique thing now.
Eh, I see the appeal. Most of these cameras have a CCD sensor, which renders colors a little differently (many say better) from the newer CMOS sensors. Another aspect is the lens, which provides a very similar look to a truly vintage lens since it is often simple and imperfect. And lastly, some of these are very small and affordable, making it an easy alternative to taking photos with your phone (phones can sometimes outperform these old little cameras, but current phones process the image more than most cameras do, whether the camera is new or old. Overprocessed images usually look artificial and have weird bright haloes around objects etc. Cameras leave the photoshopping up to the photographer to do as little or as much as they want.) Just watch out for what card it takes since some older cameras take an xD card, which has a max of 2 GB and is about $50 for a used one, and the ones that do take SD usually don't take SDXC so get an SDHC or just SD.
My uncle gave me one this month I think I'll try it I love old cameras just feels nostalgic and make me remember my childhood which I forgot due to some reason
I remember that my dad has a sony digital camera he bought back in 2004 or 2005. Is been dusted in the corner of dad's drawer so I think it is time to dust it off and put it to good use again.
How long did it take for you to set up the camera before you could use it? Were you able to pull it out of your pocket and start filming in a matter of seconds like a phone ? That’s what we want . Does anybody know where this very simple technology is? We don’t want a phone, we want a camera that operates exactly like our phone in a matter of seconds with the same awesome quality …. Cheaper of course because we’ve cut out all the Internet crap 👏🏼
You really don't need an expensive camera to match phone quality in fact you can find a 16-megapixel point and shoot camera for probably 5 to 10 hours equivalent to that of a $75 smartphone. Tired of all these spoiled kids who get up-to-date phones every year and never look back on Old technology
Just got my camera 😭 from 2007 But the problem is now i don't have new battery. Im not able to find in my local place can someone suggest me online place from where i can buy or send me link
