Teen Titans & Young Justice is essentially the same thing. In YJ, they get called the ‘Team’ because the creators didn’t wanna have another Titans group after the popular Teen Titans cartoon and Teen Titans was currently on at the time as well.
They are but they have 2 separate shows one is more for little kids. Which is why I don't understand why they watch the kid dc shows and wont watch the adult movies( the DC animated movies) especially since they don't know they main Super Heroes enough to know Robin is Batmans son 🤣
Teen Titans main distinction is Raven. She is tied to the titans and is the quite literal Teenaged Titan the name is for. Being the child of a big dude. Originally she formed the team herself.
Damian (Robin) is the son of Batman and Talia al Ghul (the daughter of Ra's al Ghul, leader of the League of Assassins). I don't think she's been featured yet but Bruce Wayne also has a daughter. Helena (Huntress) is the child of Batman and Catwoman.
That Robin is Damian Wayne, the biological son of Batman. He's the most recent Robin. But whether or not he is also the current depends on the story you're reading. In some stories, he still is protecting Gotham alongside Batman as his Robin while in others, he is out in the world doing his own form of vigilantism.
Where you're at in Young Justice, Damian is still a baby with his mother and the League of Shadows, Jason (the one that died) is also there, he's the red hooded ninja that's regaining his memories. In that story the current Robin is Tim Drake
Robins 1st - Dick grayson - Adopted (Nightwing 2nd - Jason Todd - Adopted (Red Hood) 3rd - Tim Drake - own family but later adopted (i believe) (red Robin? 4th - Stephanie Brown - not adopted 5th - Damien Wayne ( biological son) (Current Robin)
The Warped, Tangled History of Teen Titans and Young Justice Teen Titans began in the comics in the late 1960s but was never very successful until the early 80s with Marv Wolfman started a new series The New Teen Titans. It was a huge hit, lasted over a decade, in it the original Robin, Dick Grayson, grew up and became Nightwing. Shortly after, Jason Todd became the new Robin and died. By the 90s all the Titans had grown up so they were now just called the Titans. As restarted by Wolfman, the Titans had been an ultra serious comic book. In the 90s, younger heroes were introduced: Tim Drake, the third Robin; Superboy, ostensibly the clone of Superman, actually the clone of corrupt, soon-to-be-deceased Project Cadmus director Paul Westfield; and a new boy Flash, Impulse, Barry Allan's grandson from the 30th Century. They got together in a new, fun, more lighthearted comic than Titans, Young Justice. In the early 00s, Cartoon Network started making a Teen Titans cartoon. DC abruptly cancelled the YJ comic, transferred all its members to the Titans, so they could rename it back to Teen Titans. Then the Teen Titans cartoon finally came out...and it was a fun, lighthearted cartoon that could remind one of the fun, lighthearted comic Young Justice, which had been cancelled to make way for the new ultra serious Teen Titans comic (which retconned that Superboy had actually been the clone of Lex Luthor, even though at the time it made no freaking sense). Nearly a decade later, after the original Teen Titans cartoon had run its course and been replaced by the even sillier Teen Titans Go cartoon, the ultra serious cartoon Young Justice came out. So in summary, Teen Titans was the fun lighthearted cartoon named after an ultra serious comic book, and Young Justice is the ultra serious cartoon named after a fun, lighthearted comic book. Did that make any sense? Didn't think so.
The Teen Titans started out in the 60s with Wondergirl, Aqualad, Speedy, Kid Flash and Robin. The version you're more familiar with is based on the New Teen Titans made up of Kid Flash, Changeling/Beast boy, Troia/Wonder girl, Starfire, Raven, Nightwing and Cyborg. They're now called the Titans and haven't been the TT since 80s. Young Justice was meant to be a call back to the original Teen Titans being made up of Superboy, Robin (Tim Drake) and Impulse. It's the team most teen heroes join now
This robin is Damian Wayne the 4th Robin and yes he's the only one who actually is Bruce's son and the mother is not Catwoman, it's actually a woman from the league of assassins that Damian was talking about
In the comics Young Justice is a young super hero team that forms sometime after the Teen Titans have grown up and started going by just The Titans. They coexisted for a long time and eventually combined into a new Teen Titans team with members of both.
!SUNDAY RUNDOWN! HARLEY QUINN & YOUNG JUSTICE So to summize basically what all the comments are saying. There’s a total of 5 different robins. 1. Dick Grayson -nightwing 2. Jason Todd -red hood 3. You've already seen Damien's mom in Young Justice S3 it is Talia Al Ghul's. 1st Robin is Dick Grayson now Nightwing, 2nd Jason Todd killed by Joker brought back by Ra's and becomes the new RedHood, 3rd Tim Drake who you see as Robin in S2 of Young Justice in the comics he later becomes Red Robin, 4th is Damien. There is another Robin a girl named Carrie Kelley from The Dark Knight Returns graphic novel and two part animated movie
Robin 1 Dick Grayson: becomes Nightwing Robin 2 Jason Todd: Get's killed by Joker and later resurrected becoming The Red Hood Robin 3 Tim Drake: becomes Red Robin Robin 4 Stephanie Brown: was Spoiler before becoming Robin and became Batgirl 3(?) after almost dying as Robin Robin 5 Damian Wayne: Son of Batman and Talia al Ghul. Hence him saying he was raised by assassins in this episode.
Damian Wayne, the current Robin. He's Bruce's biological son after being roofied by Talia al Ghul, so he was trained as an assassin for much of his youth. He is a lot more vicious and snarky in the comics, except to animals he adopts a lot of animals, like the Bat-cow.
The Teen Titans are an actual team from the greater lore of DC, the rooster tends to change every now and then, but it mostly does involve younger heroes, sometimes having Nightwing or Starfire or other characters that are already much older than "teen", but have been part of the team as teens. The Titans are not necessarily associated with the Justice League as they are their own group of heroes. The Young Justice is just the name of the show, not the name of the team. The story revolves mostly on the younger heroes or newly introduced characters into the broader universe of DC they set up, with the older, bigger name heroes getting screentime every now and then. I mean at this point most of the original members of the show are no longer "young". The group of heroes are just referred to as "The Team" and do most of the covert work for the Justice League, making them essentially a sub-division in the League. Also the entire premise of The Team is only invented for the show, it doesn't actually exist in comics.
The Teen Titans were the original teen superhero team at DC with folks like Cyborg, Beast Boy, Raven, Starfire, Robin (Grayson), Kid Flash (Wally), etc. Enough time passed in comics that most of the Teen Titans weren’t teens anymore. Young Justice League was the next batch of teens - Robin(Tim Drake), Impulse, Superboy (Connor), Wonder Girl (Cassie). Later DC shuffled the teams around with the “twenty something” Titans (like Nightwing, Starfire, etc) acting as mentors to the new younger heroes like Blue Beetle and Miss Martian. But Chris is right - the teams change memberships all the time and each cartoon is in its own continuity.
I recommend you guys watch the 2014 animated film, "Son of Batman". It will give you a good background of this Robin. Then, you could watch after the animated film, "Batman vs. Robin". I would highly recommend you watch all the DC animated films, some of which are part of an ongoing shared universe of other films, but for time on just learning about this particular Robin, those 2 films will suffice.
The teen titans team originated in the comics in 1964 Then in 1983 the Outsider were introduced which was a spin off of both the justice league and the teen titans that was started by Batman and nightwing to do things the league could not. Once the teen titans became adults they renamed the team titans and Young Justice was the new young teen team that was formed in 1998.
there are four robins in total all of them are Batman son three of them were adopted one of them is his biological The first one is Dick Grayson who later goes on to become nightwing The second one is Jason Todd who goes on to become red hood The third one is Tim drake and the fourth one is Damian Wayne The current Robin in young justice is Tim drake but you did see Damien as a baby with his mother
for those saying Batman is Robin's dad "this time"... Bruce is also the adoptive dad of Dick Grayson as well Jason Todd. in the original origin of Dick Grayson's Robin he was not allowed to adopt him because he wasn't married, however i believe it is now canon that Bruce is the adoptive dad of all the robins.
Teen titans has a lot of members really. Their roster can be a lot bigger than the one's Chris named. He named the main cartoon network members. Young justice isn't an actual team name. Its like teen titans just without the name really.
Yah the Robin in this is Damien Wayne he is the biological son of Bruce Wayne and Talia al Ghul he was born in secrecy and raised in the League of Assassins for 12 years tell Talia realized after seeing the way Damien was becoming soulless and evil she wanted a better life for her son a life where he knew more than just destruction and bloodshed a life where he had a choice to choose his own path so she introduces him to Bruce and he later takes up the mantle of Robin after Tim Drake becomes Red Robin because he wants to know what it’s like to be a hero he has some really interesting story arcs about coming to terms with accepting the darkness of his past and accepting he can’t bring back the lives he took but he can as Robin do his part to save lives instead of destroying them.
Titans is a decent live action adaptation of the teen titans (until season 4). You get all the Robin/Nightwing stuff except for Damian Wayne, besides that it's pretty good
Yeah, this is why a friend of mine refers to this series as the "DC Parody-verse". I mean, it isn't hard to see why. While this show's incarnation of Jim Gordon isn't my favorite, I can at least understand the rationale behind it. It's all about the show poking fun at how, historically, the GCPD has just been this impotent and ineffective branch of law enforcement that almost constantly has to rely on Batman to get anything done. And then, we've got this episode, which is primarily about taking the piss out of Damien Wayne as a character and the whole idea of Robin, as a concept. I mean, it really is like that old Seinfeld line, isn't it...? "HE'S-NINE-YEARS-OLD! You don't need karate! You could just wring his neck!"
*Repost from another video* SERIOUSLY you guys need to watch all of these on (HBO) MAX while you’re watching Young Justice. In the middle of becoming night wing tired of being in Batman’s shadow robin(Jason Todd) heads for jump city and eventually form the teen titans which is just all his friends in a house eventually they get older and just recruit more members seems to be something robin just carved out for himself lowkey same way bats with the justice league they eventually get to be a decent size young justice is just because the main members felt their sidekicks weren’t really to be full on members without needing help so putting them together teaches them to rely on themselves and at the very least each other and not need a daddy to clean up but they’re just another subsection allies of the justice league on earth essentially and they’re all at least aware of each other some maybe friends

NO SOLO LEVLING
Lego Batman: Superman is my nemesis.
Lego Joker: Superman's not a bad guy!
Damians mom is ra al ghuls daughter talia
1. Dick grayson
2. Jason Todd
3. Tim Drake
4. Damian Wayne
Stephanie Brown
Carrie Kelley
That’s Damian Wayne
This is a fun Superman.
Teen titans has a lot of members really. Their roster can be a lot bigger than the one's Chris named. He named the main cartoon network members. Young justice isn't an actual team name. Its like teen titans just without the name really.
King is one of the best characters in this series. He's big ol bean
You met damien wayne in young justice....during season 3...he was a baby...also tim drake is the version of robin you know right now in young justice
You get all the Robin/Nightwing stuff except for Damian Wayne, besides that it's pretty good
That's Damian Wayne. Son of Batman and Talia al Gul
Also would love to see the Peacemaker reactions uploaded on here at some point!
Damion Wayne’s mother is not Cat woman it’s Talia Al Gul you saw him on young justice.
The Robin raised by assassins is Damian Wayne, and he IS Batman's actual son with Thalia al Ghul
You could just wring his neck!"
batman is that robins dad. that's Damian Wayne robin. roughly the 4th robin but depending on how u look at it he could be the 6th or 7th
Harley's nemesis has to be Swamp Thing... Nemesis for Ivy's romantic attention anyways
Shark Repellent Bat Spray!
This episode is so great.
That baby you guys saw and didn’t now sh*t about was Damian Wayne.
If i remember right Damien is the Son of Bruce and Thalia Alghul
LAMOOO, THEY WERE ASKING WHO WAS THE WOMAN & THE CHILD IN YOUNG JUSTICE & HERE WHO DAMIAN'S MOTHER IS 😭 THEY DIDN'T CONNECT 2 & 2 TOGETHER 😭😭

4 male robins
robin number 4 is batmans and talias kid
