Another amazing Brazilian gem! 💎 This one of those arrangements that doesn’t feel like practice when learning. Don’t forget to see the full description for full details. Thank you to everyone for tuning in. I truly appreciate you… more to come ❤

Wonderful playing, and thank you for sharing all of the sheet music / tabs! Your playing is very fluid and relaxed, great rhythm and dynamics. Did you train in classical guitar? I have been trying to learn some Brazilian songs, and while I can get somewhere with a lot of practice, I’m wondering whether I should build my technique from the ground up with a traditional training / practice programme first. I’m coming from an electric guitar and more recently steel strung fingerpicking background. Thank you again for the videos and sheet music
Thank you for the kind words. I am classically trained but also have experience with Jazz, blues, pop and flamenco guitar which has given me some advantage. Progress comes with practice and time… I can’t give you specific advice, but generally it’s always good to have strong foundations.

Gracias.
It sounds great 👍 👌 ❤
The parts where it's just open strings is genius tho
Parabens Michael! As a matter of fact, though the song became well Known by a Sergio Mendes cover, it was written by Jorge Ben (currently Benjor).
Lyrics:
Oariá raiô
Obá obá obá
Oariá raiô
Obá obá obá
Mas que nada
Sai da minha frente
Que eu quero passar
Pois o samba está animado
O que eu quero é sambar
Este samba
Que é misto de maracatu
É samba de preto velho
Samba de preto tu
Mas que nada
Um samba como este tão legal
Você não vai querer
Que eu chegue no final
Oariá raiô
Obá obá obá
Oariá raiô
Obá obá obá
Mas que nada
Sai da minha frente
Que eu quero passar
Pois o samba está animado
O que eu quero é sambar
Este samba
Que é misto de maracatu
É samba de preto velho
Samba de preto tú
Mas que nada
Um samba como este tão legal
Você não vai querer
Que eu chegue no final
Oariá raiô
Obá obá obá
Oariá raiô
Obá obá obá
Obá obá obá
Obá obá obá
Obá obá obá
Obá obá obá
