I play guitar so I know how difficult it is to play a Spanish guitar, but watching Miroslav's fingers dancing so delicately over the strings leaves me speechless. Beautiful.
He still moves his face and FYI real musician don't do theatrical faces some do it cause it shows their personality/ies...If i were to chose I'd rather see faces' expression than stone looking faces with no expression...Expression is musical too except some people get annoyed by it casue they don't understand a musician... Only a musician understand its kind...
@@Guitarramistica yes... well said, my friend... it's true - alot of guitarists make unconscious facial expressions - probably myself included although I've never had anyone point it out to me (thankfully) ... it's better to not make anyone self-conscious, I think, as it is difficult for some people to play for an audience without feeling self-conscious to begin with...🔥
@@robertcronin6603 my first guitar teacher when I was 6 years old made such faces that I felt so uncomfortable that I couldn’t wait for the lesson to end.
The great thing about listening to Miroslav Tadic playing Rustemul, is that every time I hear him play it he always uses new improvisations, something that a lot of classical guitarists don't do on this piece, usually they just play the written part and that's it.
Isn't it fairly common in classical music to feel pressured into *not* "interpreting" or personalizing a piece but rather just to play it as written or how the masters originally played it? It seems there's a school of thought that discourages originality when it comes to classical music...I could be wrong, idk
@@robertcronin6603 This is not classical music. It is folk music. 'Rustemul' is a traditional Romainian Folk Dance. This kind of reminds me of Béla Bartók, who wrote many pieces based on traditional Romanian & Hungarian folk music. But Miroslav's arraignment of this piece for the guitar is pure genius.
When music starts to evolving at 1:27, it reminds me of days back in '90 when I was sailing on Danube, when you pass small town called Ram, in front of you are great Karpati mountains and neighbour state Romania, with that great music tradition and sound. That feel, that wind and landscape are unforgettable.Thank you mister Tadić for reminding me on that moment!
Imagine just walking into an open mic night pub/bar, going over to the stage, picking up a guitar and casually plucking this out - you wouldn't pay for a drink all night!! Stunning! It never fails to impress me; watching someone make something so complex look effortless. 👍👍 Just wish my spazzy fingers had the dexterity to play it!
ah, music that belongs on the streets with the people and not in an awful church or some majestic hall. Dude's playing is nothing short of fierce. More of this please.
I haven't played classical guitar _anything_ in something like...a decade now, probably more. This is one of the few songs I've heard that lit a fire inside me again and make my fingers itch to find my old guitar, tune it, play it again, look up new songs to download, print and pactice...even if I know rationally that I probably couldn't fit enough time with all the (WFH) commitments I have right now. Still...thanks for that. (Definitely leaving a comment here to draw the attention of the algorithm gods. Think of it as a cheaper version of burnt offerings).

Amazing performance! So rhythmical and soulful! So happy to have listened to this. I remember years ago I had purchased his piece through Les Productions D’Oz and never found a video of him playing this until now!
I've never see someone play like this, it's like different style or combining many style into one Yeah I've seen the greats like sabicas, paco de Lucia, tomatito, segovia, etc, but they all use different technique
Fantastic playing sir thank you very much! You can just picture leaping and dancing. Lots of expression and emotion weaved in. And it's a beautiful guitar. And again thank you sir!
