    I had blood work done and had high liver enzymes have had a mri put on a medicine GE urisidol 500 MG 2 times a day was told had a cyst on my liver had a cat scan done and blood done on a alpha Feta Protein test now he wants another mri

    Hi doctor my grandson is 11 years old he has been admitted to Red cross hospital for a whole month now ...firstly it was said he has chrone deseased and yesterday he blood results came that he has a abnormal liver function deseased and high enzymes in his liver what can be done in that case doctor please

    Does the liver function tests show cirrhosis?

      Lisa Thacker...No! Only a liver biopsy can determine if you have Cirrhosis. Sometimes, a Fibroscan or a Fibrosure blood test may show Cirrhosis.
