Maybe it even does a bit of a too good of a job conveying the horrors of war for a propoganda piece. It reminded me too much of "Come and see", especially the aerial bombardement and seeing the trees fall during the tank interception. It perfectly pictures the meaning of industrial warfare, destruction on such a large scale that it becomes absurd, that any life ceases to have any meaning, that a mind simply can not face.
