@@victorarencibiadelavega3493 tbh he's totally justified in going to war, the emperor sent his loyal house to die at the hands of the harkonens and if they had succeeded the empire would fall into the harkonen's hands ending the very dinasty the throne was ment to protect and when he won just retribution on his enemies he opted to continue the corrino dynasty rather than usurp it and the great houses for some unexplained reason decided to not honour or even negotiate it, at that point they're asking for it.
He had 3 choices before even being ambushed by the Fremen. All 3 had his survival but only one gave him the vengeance he desired. The caveat to that path is that at the end of his revenge held the Jihad. He chose this and now he faces the consequences. The only escape for him is “death.”
Do you think Paul has a choice in his journey or is he bound by fate/destiny(the prophecy)?
He is bound.... again, it´s the prophecy....the destiny gave him an impossible choice...
nope he has a choice but his options suck so he feels trapped as if it was all destiny anyway
