We actually are. They just started rewriting the script for like the tenth time and Jared Leto is rumored to be the protagonist. Take that info with a grain of salt since it’s just a rumor but it’s what I got on my research

Oh man! 11 years and the nostalgia . Music and Movie was way way way ahead of its time. Earth was not ready for this film. DAFT PUNK killed it.

Earth wasn't ready for the first TRON movie when it came out. It was my fav stand alone movie as a kid. Star Wars was my fav set of movies in the 80s.
This movie was too ahead of it’s time. No one recognized how good it was except me and other fans. Pumped for the new tron movie and hopefully it is even better.

This is the only movie that had a soundtrack that gave me goosebumps for every scene. Daft punk enhanced this movie 100%, fits perfect with the futuristic theme!

This soundtrack is amazing, but IMO the interstellar soundtrack is even better. If you're going to watch It I highly recommend watching it with a good screen and speakers because it's one of those movies that you wish you could watch for the first time again

As a 91 french boy I grew up with Daft Punk taking them for granted, but oh boy 24:40 "Flynn lives" resonate and is such a slap on the face, thank you Thomas and Guy-Manuel, you will stay like one of the greatest electronic band ever.
Take them for granted is a sideways compliment! Daft Punk are legendary in that they inspired so many sub genres of music, so even if you don't like their songs at first but that sort of music you will eventually come to your senses haha!

You're not wrong for taking them for granted. Joseph Trapanese is the overall arranger and the guy that's doing the orchestral score. Think about it. Outside of the soundtrack daft punk have never done anything this good.
I just rewatched this movie last night and kept saying to myself, "I need a game company to make an either single player or Co op or both Tron game.", like a Tron game with a single player/co op story that's open world with good gameplay, stunning visuals, and amazing music. I'd play that shit in a heart beat
Well, they made Tron Evolution back in 2010, single player, not Great, not terrible. But it does tells you who is the program that Quorra mentions that saved her before Kevin Flynn found her in the outlands when the purge ocurred.

Disney has the rights to two AMAZING science fiction franchises; "TRON" and "John Carter of Mars". I heard from inside the mouse house that they didn't push them because they might interfere box-office-wise with all the $cratch they are making with Star Wars.
Let's hope they do the soundtrack for Tron 3 if it ever comes out! They nailed this!

Ok I don't know what I just witnessed here. This is not a result of just simply sampling, mixing and tuning of songs that already were great. This is an absolute marvel of a pitch-perfect use of an already superb soundtrack. I guess I am at lack of words, "Greatissimo!" is along the lines I could think of. Back to listening ->

I played Uno with my brother and his SIL to this soundtrack a long time ago, made the game feel intense, we would randomly burst into laughter at how ridiculously dramatic it was. Good times
I heard this album back in 2015, when my grandmother had a stroke and the life inside my house was completely shifted.
She passed away in july 2017, and I miss her so much 💔💔.
Wherever you are, grandma, know that I love you and miss you so much.
Now I am a grown man, 24 years old, but I will never forget my adolescence by your side and the importance you had back then.

One of the most underrated movies and soundtracks ever!
I had the privilege to watch this legend in theatre, absolutely changed me. Best daft punk soundtrack ever made imo. Will stay with me forever. I come here to find some inspiration and then spend it elsewhere. In a way, i guess we all have our own CLU. It’s upto us to forthcome our own shadow. And the movie clearly shows, we all need our quorra, eh?
I went and rented a movie theater for my birthday on Saturday and watch this movie. I was very little when Tron came out and it was always been my dream to watch this in a movie theater.

Very underrated and nostalgic film. Visual effects and soundtrack are masterpiece. I regret I didn't watch this in cinema in 2011. This film is a great reminder of good old times of 2010-2011

Watch Tron Legacy; it’s a great sci-fi movie (among the top 15 sci-fi movies in my opinion).

A movie that grew on me with each viewing. The soundtrack blew me away right from the get go.
Daft Punk scored the film brilliantly.
Tron Legacy and John Carter are two franchise projects Disney too easily gave up on. Both have compelling stories and settings, both have great casts, both took great strides in their cinematography and editing, and both have great scores.

Whoever came up with the idea of Daft Punk doing the score for this film deserves a raise!! If DP hadn't retired from music I think they could have easily transitioned into doing movie scores full time .

This is the epitome of epic. This movie and this score found each other.
First movie I saw in modern 3d. To date it was the best. Mix of music with the vibrant popping colors. It was truly the only movie to date I say must be seen in theaters to get the full experience.

I remember watching this with my father. Just the 2 of us, and to see this movie is about a father and a son too. Love it. Will never forget this film and the time we saw this.
This made me so relaxed, I took a nap feeling happy, woke up 2 hours later feeling happy, and now I'm cooking and still happy AF. Just puts you in such a good mood! Love love love this one.
Encom Part 2 is an amazing track. Only available on the deluxe edition of the score. Makes you truly feel like you are standing on top of the world. Then falling.
I have always loved this movie. I remember people hating on it and I couldn't understand why and still don't haha. I saw it in theater and just remember being in awe.

I'm still waiting for what they're going to do next for TRON3. Ever since I saw that they were in development, I would just nonstop think about Tron just like how I was back in 2010 as a kid. Creating my own Lego customs, playing with the figures, the game Evolution and watching the AMAZING TV series Tron Uprising. Man I love TRON.
Such a shame we're never going have a sequel.
I totally love the music, it's art style story and acting (Olivia Wilde was awesome) and it would've been interesting to see how and if the Iso would or could influence the world for the better or worse

i didnt watch the first tron. i went to the cinema and watched tron legacy. the next day out of nowhere i felt the need to go watch it again. i went 3 times... then i watched it again from time to time. i feel like its one of the best movies ever made... time is passing and are no tron 3 news... its sad

Me and my big brother had such cool stuff in common. This. The Legacy movie he was part of helping make it. From a small ass Canadian hole. But even though sadly we never really got very close and then after Tron he got fukn cancer and passed at 40. Miss him and wish we had more time.
Tron legacy man....saw that movie in my early 20s wnd looking back at it at age 31 i am so nostalgic of the music and the style of that movie. Truly emersive no pun intended
