      Just picked up a 2012 CVO Electra Glide, they have been great bikes all along! Rode HD most of my life, still have yet to buy a brand new one..

      @Riding in the Ozarks I wasn't a hater but I did question the Road Glide pic. Seemed a little too far fetched, but while I'm not a fan of Road Glide I do believe there should be more separating CVO and non CVO models than 3 cu in and some minor cosmetics

    • @RidingintheOzarks
      @RidingintheOzarks  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@gregmannos I didn't mean haters because they did not believe it was real even. I had comments that I should take the video down cause I knew it as fake, that I should make real content not fake BS, hateful stuff....I agree the CVO needed more justification for the cost

    Great job highlighting what you saw in the video. I guess it's too much to ask for a Bronx. The new redesign looks good and was needed, but the Pan America proved HD can be competitive in other areas. I'd like to see the Motor Company branch out into the naked bikes and bring in more riders vs. doubling down on touring models that already sell well. I think a big twin naked bike would fit in well within HD's lineup.

    Hey Man Mountain Mike, 1st things 1st. Glad you and Fire C made it back safe from Spring Fling. Before I get to the new models, y’all did a really outstanding job on Fire C’s Sport Glide. Thanks for posting that side shot of the bike. I really appreciate the color and clean lines of the bike. Fire C, I’m jealous…lol.
    As far as the new models go, I wonder how big a price jump we are going to see? The R&D on the VVT and bigger displacement on the engine; inverted fork front end; new design on the bags & fairing; along with the other bells and whistles ain’t cheap. Just another in a long line of CVO models I can’t afford. However, more power to those who can and are willing to throw down the kind of bank it will take to ride off on one. HD, I really hope that is all LED lighting and you finally put the incandescent lights out to pasture.
    That’s all I got for ya. I’m out for now and y’all keep on riding.

    the Softail models do ride far much better than the tour line, I just purchased a Low Rider ST while my original intent was to pick up a used Street Glide or Road Glide Special. I rented a Street Glide the day previous and checked that preload was set right but boy is it night and day between both lines. The Softail just rode so much better, ridiculously better, that I knew even if I saved money buying used I would be turning around and buying shocks.
    As for the new models, it is high time that the CVO models led the line up. I really do hope that there is so good trickle down of suspension and braking components to the rest of the tour line.
    I wonder what size VVT they tour models will get seeing the CVO is 121.

    • @RidingintheOzarks
      @RidingintheOzarks  ปีที่แล้ว

      I am not sure the motor will trickle down till they have a larger one for the CVO but I hope the rest does by 2025...

    I like the look of the new CVO Street Glide , the Batwing fairing has a very subtle redesign which looks good , also like the rims, the Brembo brakes and the 121 motor, hopefully H-D will launch the CVO in some awesome colours. Great to see you riding an FXDX Super Glide Sport, I own one myself (02 model) fitted with a 1550 Stage 2 kit, its probably my favourite H-D of all time.

    Oddly enough, this is exactly what apple did with their products some years ago. They slowly began to converge some of the features between devices. I would expect all the 2024 baggers to look like this and have VVT engines as well. This is the beginning of them converging the old with the new. I just think a lot of people are going to ask why the 120th version bikes weren't on the new platform. There will probably be a lot of upset customers over this Mid year change.

    So is the Indian looks like a Harley and now Harley look like an Indian, doesnt that just mean a Harley looks like a Harley?
    I own a few Harley, people need to stop whining and get over it.
    I love the new look of the Street Glide, im not into the CVO's but this new design will trickle down to the Special models in 2025 and thats when i will get another Street Glide

    I personally don’t like the new visual design which left behind the smooth rounded design. And I think it’s risky what they do, for the common design is an icon that stands for the classic look of a HD, no matter the engine or technical specs. In combination with the steadily rising prizes, HD moves on a thin line when thinking that the customers accept a departure from the classic HD look plus increased sales prizes. The new design imho doesn’t make the bikes look more attractive, it just makes them look more Indian. And if you make yourself so comparable in design, the future customer may will decide not by the brand but by the cost of buying and running a new bike.

    If imitation is truly the greatest form of flattery.. Go Indian! SMH!! Comparing the headlight and lighting on the fairing.. on the street glide and the comparable model from Indian.... Well,.. draw your own conclusion.
    This video is a partial of Harleys official release... the "leaked photos" came a few months back and they were from India.
    As for the CVO bikes... are many gonna fork over $60K...? .... Thats yet to be seen. They have a 122? engine with variable timing adjustments and inverted forks.. ya, from Harley, thats brand new and way past due. The only great thing is Harley has FINALLY stepped up and are now matching with what the compition has been supplying for years!!
    The CEO of Harley has their prices back up to $3500 per bike off the top, great for the investors, not so great for the rest of us. Looking at what Harleys CEO said about all Harleys being electric in 10 years.. ?? I guess this is Harleys way of going down swinging.. I hope Im wrong!

    • @RidingintheOzarks
      @RidingintheOzarks  ปีที่แล้ว

      No offense but a few corrections, CEO said all electric eventually, he never gave a timeframe, also the leaked photos from India were of the 4XX not these bikes, the leaked photos of these were from the US, I am positive but can't reveal my source. I hope they can keep the MSRP under 60K for these, not sure the market can stand much more pricing increases.
