I've said it about Chris before, he is actually better live than in a studio recording. How many singers can you say that about? He is just in a class by himself. He starts singing and he just has you captivated from start to finish.
Many artists sound as good live as in studio, but very very few legit sound better live. This man knocks it out of the park in the studio, but when he has an audience he just absolutely kills it every time.
I know every single song from top to bottom by Stapleton. I saw him live once and he kicks it up a notch live in person when I would’ve never thought it was even possible. Absolutely breathtaking
The bad relationship and marriage .. I soooo relate to sound ... it even brought me tears... I am there with you Chris Stapleton... THIS A GREAT SOUND ...
First time I heard Chris Stapleton sing "Tennessee Whiskey", I knew he was something special, as did millions of others, and I was hooked. Get chills listening to his songs.
This song received the 2022 Grammy for Best Country Song, written by Stapleton and his band mates J.T. Cure, Derek Mixson and often guitarist and music producer, Dave Cobb. Stapleton went on to win Grammys for Best Country Album and Best Country Solo Performance that same year. That album, "Starting Over" really doesn't have any "misses".
Chris is my favorite singer / songwriter out there today. He’s definitely a formidable force . He has earned respect from all genres because he is absolutely unmatched in his talents. Everything he does turns to gold . ❤
the thing i love about this song, especially live is not just Chris' guitar and voice - but the strings adding so much more emotion to the song. They give me goosebumps.
Born and raised on Country music... Happy to say Chris sings some country.. but dang... this man has so much SOUL in his voice.. Thank you Chris for doing Country, Blues, Rock and just being true to your craft..
Such a powerful vocal and emotional ride Mr Stapleton brings each and every time. As a 66 yr old vocalist my infatuation for this is immense❤️❤️❤️🤷🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️🔥🔥🔥🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 Thank you Sir Love your channel😎🎸
If perfect exists then this is it. Chris Stapleton is just God given talent at its finest. Raw, emotion, guitar playing unbelievable, Chris is music. National treasure.
one of THE great talents of our lifetimes. the guy not only writes insanely soulful songs that all of can relate to, but he plays guitar blues licks like BB King.............guy is a master of masters
Amazing... as are you. No one conveys the subtle nuances of a song like you. As a veteran musician, music degrees, 50 years of dive bars, stadiums, and everything in between. I look forward to every video you produce. Your vast knowledge of music, the way you dissect songs, is unmatched. Period. Thank you for what you do... you make every day better for an old Bass player...
When Chris sings & plays that guitar, I feel his music from the top of my head to the tips of of toes. I love his Soul. So glad you do too. How can u not. 👏👍👏
I've noticed his production quality is really ramping up. Him alone with a guitar is amazing. Him with a Telecaster and professional musicians is amazing. Toss in Morgane's voice and its heaven. "Cold" really upped the production value with with the strings & piano. Watch You Burn with the chorus. He is an amazing collaborator as well. And now with his National Anthem performance at the Super Bowl let Chris Stapleton out of the bag. The sheer number of reaction video's to the national anthem tells a story.
He has a gift! Took him a second to share it with his voice. I'm glad he decided to sing instead of only writing. Good for him and gives all of us something great and new!
So masterful, and that guitar, he makes it sing. Love watching reactions to every one of his song by as many reactor vlogs I find. The way he moves your soul is crazy! Pure love for Chris.
Great reaction! Earlier in his career, Chris was in a bluegrass band called The Steeldrivers. One of their songs was named “Can You Run”. It is a story told from the view of an African slave during the Civil War. Chris does an outstanding job in this song, you should check it out. Other songs by them are “Where Rainbows Never Die” and “Sticks That Made Thunder” (told from the point of view of a tree, odd but well done). It’s the same ol’ Chris, soulful and very good. Most people don’t even know about The Steeldrivers or outright dismiss it because of the bluegrass genre, but I’ve always thought good music was good music no matter what genre. New subscriber as of now, keep up the good work and hopefully you’ll venture into Chris’ earlier work. On a side note, he was once in a southern rock band called The Jompson Brothers and as always, Chris is fantastic. Thanks! 👍👍@Mrlboyd reacts
Great reaction Mr LBoyd. I think the reason everybody is going apecrap for Chris is 1) the obvious talent but 2) ppl are missing the days MEN, not BOYS, sang R&B. Not knocking on the young bucks but put up against Marvin, Peabo, Luther, and on and on and on...ppl miss those days. Great song! Dude can sing the phone book n I'd listen
I was so excited to see that you reacted to this video, I knew you would be blown away and you did not disappoint!! Great reaction to an incredible performance!
No one is better in his genre. He always moves me. And to think his wife was the signed artist and he just wrote for other people, until she talked him into singing. Can you imagine the loss. Listen to your wives, people. 😁
What I want to know is when he performs at an awards show or something like that like the CMAs how does anyone have the balls to stand on the stage after him? Once Chris Stapleton hits the stage that should be like alright curtains dropping shows over there's nothing more we can do here.
I could easily hear that opening up a Bond movie. He doesn't just play that guitar, he makes it sing.
I've said it about Chris before, he is actually better live than in a studio recording. How many singers can you say that about? He is just in a class by himself. He starts singing and he just has you captivated from start to finish.
I absolutely agree. He's probably one of the VERY FEW artists that sounds just as good or better live😍👍
Many artists sound as good live as in studio, but very very few legit sound better live. This man knocks it out of the park in the studio, but when he has an audience he just absolutely kills it every time.

So true a must see live for anyone who hasn’t seen him.
First time I heard Chris Stapleton sing "Tennessee Whiskey", I knew he was something special, as did millions of others, and I was hooked. Get chills listening to his songs.
Man, you can't dig deep enough to find all the soul this man has🔥🔥🔥
in my humble opinion this song and performance will go down in history as one of the best live performances ever done
Is almost sacred, the way it is, and is taken in as, something simply above anything we have seen or are accustomed to.
YES 💯 🎤
I felt this song to my SOUL ! You did that, Chris. He could have left that stage, dropping the mic … and would’ve had EVERY right to do so !
This song received the 2022 Grammy for Best Country Song, written by Stapleton and his band mates J.T. Cure, Derek Mixson and often guitarist and music producer, Dave Cobb. His ability to telegraph his emotions through his voice is second to none. Great reaction video!

I'm from Brazil, Rio de Janeiro. Congratiulations on the channel.
Pure Genius
That word "cold" literally hits like an emotional slap in the face.
He speaks with that guitar, doesn’t he!
the thing i love about this song, especially live is not just Chris' guitar and voice - but the strings adding so much more emotion to the song. They give me goosebumps.
Chris can not surprise me anymore everything he do is just fire every time
Wow you get it.
Born and raised on Country music... Happy to say Chris sings some country.. but dang... this man has so much SOUL in his voice.. Thank you Chris for doing Country, Blues, Rock and just being true to your craft..

Thank you Sir Love your channel😎🎸
You nailed it when you said the arrangement was absolutely flawless those strings were amazing
Except for a bit they're late on the beat.
As he sings this song you can feel an open wound bleeding as you lay on the floor....
If perfect exists then this is it. Chris Stapleton is just God given talent at its finest. Raw, emotion, guitar playing unbelievable, Chris is music. National treasure.
Love your reactions- my face lookED the same when I first heard it. I was like “..SOMEONES HURTING CHRIS! STOP HURTING CHRIS!”
Great reaction to a great song 🔥🤘😁
Was not a fan of country before Chris came along. He’s hands down my favorite artist out there. To me he’s as much blues and soul as he is country.
one of THE great talents of our lifetimes. the guy not only writes insanely soulful songs that all of can relate to, but he plays guitar blues licks like BB King.............guy is a master of masters
"Wow guys"...
No worries brother. The same here...everytime.
🔥 🔥 🔥
Sir, your face says it all for Chris! Love this man!
Without a doubt, one of the finest live performances ever!

Great reaction and I agree completely Chris Stapleton is absolutely one of the most amazing talents out there. I love his voice.
Where have you gone Mr. L Boyd. ???
He has a gift! Took him a second to share it with his voice. I'm glad he decided to sing instead of only writing. Good for him and gives all of us something great and new!

The Steeldrivers are amazing! Great choices!
Absolutely agree with you about the Steeldrives. The songs he did with them are great.
Great reaction…..I see you recognized great music …
Just a masterpiece!
Just found your reaction to this video. You spoke how I felt. You are just as good as Chris is your craft. Love you dude!
Chris live is something everyone should experience. The band is magic. Do Higher off his new album next!
Phenomenal performance
I just wept over this. “Cut me like a knife” in a good way 😊
He is such a phenomenal artist! Love your reaction. How about white horse and it’s a man’s world
Great reaction Mr LBoyd. I think the reason everybody is going apecrap for Chris is 1) the obvious talent but 2) ppl are missing the days MEN, not BOYS, sang R&B. Great reaction. As you well know you can never, ever go wrong with Chris, especially live.

CHILLS!!!!!!!!
Check out his cover of Tied to the whipping post by the Allman brothers.
No one is better in his genre. He always moves me. And to think his wife was the signed artist and he just wrote for other people, until she talked him into singing. Can you imagine the loss. Listen to your wives, people. 😁
What genre would that be? you can't pigeon hole that man.
@@1perfectpitch country blues would be my opinion, but you sound like an expert, so have at it. 😁
Listen to him sing “It’s a Man’s World” 🤩🤩🤩
Great reaction and love to hear the sound of a child in the background at 6:56.
1:25 that's the exact face I made 😂
Chris send to the world , their is an White Man Blues you can't denied even to call it would not be right from the Heart
He is just unique!
Ol good motown vibes
I knew you would like this song! Love the reaction!
Seen him live in 2023..totally better live!!
Loved your reaction!Thank you!Enjoy your day as well!
hello how are you doing, how long have you been a fan of mine
Chris sings the blues.
Can Chris actually sing a bad song? I don’t think he is capable of it. He could sing the telephone book and he would win another award.
Been requesting this for along time…. Glad you got to here this “FIRE” song!!!!
Masterpiece🎼
Would be awesome if you could react to scarecrow in the garden by Chris Stapleton
I love watching your reactions and taking a shot of jack Daniel's every time u say "right" 😂😂😂lmfao
Joy of My Life is one of my favorites of his. I haven’t seen anyone react to it yet.
You should check out his performance of "Starting Over" at CMA Awards 2020. Why does his live performances sound better than the studio version?
My husband loves the song White Horse
There is a video of a young Chris Stapleton singing Fool Me Again, that’s worth a viewing, also any of his NPR Tiny Desk concerts.
That guitar solo/fill! It’s as if BB King and Carlos Santana had a baby.
Chris could be on stage with BB King and it would be a wonderful day.
i will make it a point to like and comment on ever Music & Movie vid you do .. thank you goodSir.
You should compare this one to the Grammy performance which
,in my opinion, is better.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
He was in a rock band called the Jompson brothers, give it a try
Please do more Chris Stapleton!
hello how are you doing, how long have you been a fan of mine
Chris Stapleton performed with Stevie Wonder Higher Learning
At the 2023 Grammy's. It's on the Grammy's TH-cam channel.
Enjoy!
Do you make the actual video opaque to avoid copyright issues, or is that just a stylistic choice? I love the reactions, brother.
What I want to know is when he performs at an awards show or something like that like the CMAs how does anyone have the balls to stand on the stage after him? Once Chris Stapleton hits the stage that should be like alright curtains dropping shows over there's nothing more we can do here.
Try out Sometimes I Cry - Live
Didn’t you already drop this reaction? Maybe I’m mistaken. (?)
I love how you almost look annoyed about how good it is hahaha
🔥🔥🔥🚒👩🚒👩🚒🔥🧯🧯
Nothing this guy can't do with a microphone
Please react to Beth Hart and Joe Bonamassa ‘I’ll Take Care of You’ and ‘I’d Rather Go Blind’
Nothing but NET
Really 1 view lucky me
Salutations
The translucent/rain drop view of video does nothing for the artist or performance. Maybe you should consider that in your future reaction videos
Chris knows his music. Not my favorite song of his, though.
