Hello Fae and hello Elaine! and everyone,
Well said! So sad to learn at this late stage that Barry is no longer with us.
He was my dance teacher during a very special time in my life, 1980 - 84 at Jamaica School of Dance. I remember his wit, his unending patience, he was so very kind, I loved his classes. As a performer I found Barry phenomenal, dramatic, graceful, beautiful to watch.
Considering who and what he was, I found him modest, funny and genuine.
He will always have a special place in my heart.
I treasure the memories of that time, the drumming, the dancing, the energy and excitementit of attending that school.
    Greetings from London,
    Elisabeth Anderson
