It’s a nice change of pace. The previous Solstice sets had a regal/ceremonial look to them. These new sets scream “I’m going on an adventure”
That titan armor with the purple glow and no backup planes could be interesting

Warlock drip is giving off battlemage vibes. Titans look like a brawler and hinters look like a, well, a hunter lmao.
Man that titan helmet looks cool. Simple but cool little details
I'm going for all three but here are my priority pieces
Hunter: Helmet and Cloak (D1 vet you see it too, enough said)
Warlocks: Helmet and Robes. The robe definitely resembles the poster trench coat, but the Helmet (which has a pilot skull cap) looks to seamlessly coincide with the robes to resemble a hood.
Titan: Everything. It's not clunky it looks maneuverable and it genuinely looks good
Titans are literally centimeters away from looking like the Rocketeer

I like the solstice logo on these sets.
All I'm gonna say is that it's a good thing there's transmog now.
I think this year’s armor is honestly very refreshing. It’s not like what we’ve been getting and I hope Bungie continues this trend for future solstice sets. To me, this is how solstice SHOULD be. Every year we get some different theme to the armor and it makes it more enticing to chase after the sets. Let’s be honest here, the sets we got way back in, what? Arrivals? The sets with the glowing horns? Those sets are still my favorite and I personally believe are the only GOOD set we’ve had with solstice. The whacky glows and designs we’ve been getting just don’t do it for me. This new set looks like it’s gonna be a banger and I hope it turns out that way in game.
The Destiny iconography on these sets adds that little bit of flavor that itches my interest just right.
Titan looks like rocketeer
I like the idea of these armours, im just sad that it might be difficult to integrate then with the other solstice sets. But I will withhold judgement till I see them in game

Not really my favorite, but Solstice armor hasn't looked that good for a while now, probably since 2019-2020 so this is a step up
The more I see the glowy sets, the more it makes me sad we haven’t received the vigil sets from D1
Good, the recent sets have been getting too gaudy/difficult to work with. I'm already creating fashion of this set in combination with the wizard set on Titan o7
As a hunter main I have to go with the hunter set I just miss the d1 looks that involves gas masks😅

I'm sorry but this is NOT steampunk. This is very much inspired by deiselpunk and Rocketeer aesthetics. Just calling it steampunk because of the leather and warm color tones is a gross mischaracterization

I don't know about you guys but I love this set. All of them. They kept on with the ceremony soldier look for too long and I never liked it. So this is a huge improvement. And I am loving the glow designs. The odd thing is that. For warlocks. The only pieces I actually like out of the sets are the helmets. But this time. I like everything EXCEPT the helmet.

Looks pretty good but I’m tired of vertical slit warlock helmets. Just some more variability would be nice. I think a T-visor would make this helmet ten times cooler.

The hunter in my opinion hasn’t gotten a good set of armour in a very long time and this is no exception the titan armour is gorgeous :/ oh well maybe next episode
