Can’t wait to see the new Santa Fe in person ! I have been researching for the next family vehicle ! And this vehicle is checking all the boxes ! Great job Hyundai !
I think this Santa Fe will do great with Families and folks who do road trips and like the outdoors. Seems the rugged outdoor look is the trend with automakers these days. I just traded my 2018 Ultimate for a 2023 Calligraphy and cant tell you how happy I am. The 2024 styling is bold, but not for me. But congrats to Hyundai for a job well done.
Wow ! Great job Hyundai and Amazon ! And having Alexa in the car is a plus ! I have been researching the next family car and the Santa Fe has been checking all the boxes ! Can’t wait to explore the process.
It's already on display in Czech. It's on TH-cam. th-cam.com/video/gBy1lZh6Udo/w-d-xo.htmlsi=jc9ghJGEYVDIhmNB Without the fed incentive PHEV is dead on arrival as it's not going to be cheap. Low EV range of 31miles just won't cut it. Considering avg daily commute is 40miles. A hybrid makes more sense. Use KIA Sorento 2024 PHEV pricing as ref. Will be around $50k+ if they only release a single top end model.
They need to dispose of the dealerships all together. Every Hyundai/Kia dealership I have ever dealt with severely marks up their cars and its quite dishonest.
Current Santa Cruz owner and I love the exterior of this but those powertrain choices are going to kill it for me. I'd prefer a nice NA V6 or inline 6. Especially since this Santa Fe is getting bigger.
So glad I just got a 2024 Palisade with a V6 two days ago, I’m sure it will go to a 4 cylinder turbo next year. I turned in my 2021 Lexus RXh that had 6 cylinders and now those are almost all 4 cylinder turbo 😝
Will be 5 seats version available ? Is spare here ? Or, like in Tesla, I need to pray all way to airport to not have flat tire and to not wait 1.5 hour for road assistant ?
No spare wheel offered in the 2024 MY. The design concept was meant for road trip & outdoor adventure. The 3 rows cater for family outdoor trip. Here's the video of a 2 row version th-cam.com/video/pLM4nPslqgQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=yUHqpvBYg_q19Q-m
Honestly prefer my 2014 santa Fe sport. On trunk space alone it seems like a better option than the 2024 model's standard 3rd row. I got an older model because the newer versions kept getting too big without managing the space well and this seems like another example. Yeah its cool in all but it no longer meets the basic needs i had for the car. (1. Large trunk space. 2. Tall enough that the tires hit the curb and nothing gets scraped. 3. Large enough to transport multiple adults without being too large for cities)
I just traded my 2018 which I totally loved. It was in great shape. Never had any issues. But when i saw the style that Hyundai was going to take the next gen of Santa Fe, i had to make the move. I am in love with my 2023 Calligraphy. Has everything i can dream of having in a car. So I am set for 5 to 8 years. Enjoy your 2014. That is a great generation.
@@hyundai Thanks. I am disappointed that Pebble Blue Pearl is not available in US. Is there a way to see these colors on photos of the actual vehicle like we can for the Korean versions?
Why 3 rows standard? Is their a spare tire? I don’t need 3 rows, buy a van if you need that. I think the consumer should have a choice if they want a 3rd row.
Coming from someone that used to not have kids I would say the same thing but 65% of America have kids or more and frankly if you have two or more it's so nice to have their own row it's nice to be able to put one friend in there it's super convenient and they have even a little space in the headliner that you can be 6 ft tall and the third row of the vehicle that size that's amazing you don't know that you want the third row until you need it there's plenty of two row options for you if you need that too
It should still be an option as I need the larger trunk space but smaller footprint the older model provides and the third row seats in most suvs are not accessible for anyone besides small children and will be useless after a certain point.
I'm thinking we will all have to guess at the price of this new car. With greed in mind, I suspect there will be a higher dealer markup as well. I will definitely take a look at one when the vehicle comes to my area, but I do like the 2024 Honda CRV Hybrid and may just go with that. I'll figure it out this Spring.

Does anyone know if it will have a large OPENING sunroof?
I was waiting for the release to get one, but now finding out HEV not until after March, well, looks like not in the cards for me. Sad that a release doesn't include the hybrid, most notably in this day and age
1.6 turbo for the hybrid is the big miss here. That's just a crap engine for such a nice SUV. I was hoping for a hybrid powertrain that could compete with the Highlander.
I think so. The 1.6 T hybrid delivers 232 hp with 271 lb-ft of torque, that is with the electric hybrid combined. While the 2.5T delivers 277hp with 311 lb-ft of torque. For a mid size SUV w 3 rows can be a little struggle for the 1.6T hybrid in North American roads.
Thanks Hyundai !!! I was seriously considering buying the 2024 Santa Fe, after watching this "presentation" I will not be. Basically what I heard at the beginning was, we're making three major improvements towards manufacturing MEANING; a cheaper car while increasing profits. P.S. The new design SUCKS, it's a clunky box with no sense of style or design.
I agree. I treaded in my 2018 for a 2023, as soon as i saw what they 2024 was going to look like. I think it will sell well for families and folks who like the outdoors and that rugged look.....not for me.
Hopefully a redesign on the Palisades will appeal to true luxury buyers as this seems more of a low/mid end masquerading as luxury. Poor engine choices/transmission, manual steering adjustment, single exhaust tip, poor graphics for 2024, no real customization of digital center cluster, Amazon Alexa..
I've never cared anything about manual steering of digital clusters but yeah those engine options are not appealing at all. A nice used Lexus GX460 is a far better buy than this.
Looks almost like a Land rover from all sides, unless you look at the back lights which are mini-van type. For a SUV look, both Mazda CX90 and Hyundai SantaFe 2024 have ruined their back. 😥
This needs a 6cyl. At least as an option. Especially since they want to market the XRT as an overland platform. Big tires and camping gear pack on pounds quick and I'd much rather have a reliable 6cyl or V8 than a turbo 4.
The single exhaust tip on the USA model looks stupid and “cheap”…… Kills the entire car.. I was under the impression that was only for the Korean version.
@@tjkim382It was mentioned in Korea that there was ample space under the carriage to run a second exhaust tip(for esthetics). It’s a big miss, it wreaks of the same “we almost got there” stench that ruins the nearly perfect Telluride.

Hello Eduardo. We are sorry to hear about your experience with your vehicles. Are you currently working with a corporate case manager regarding your concerns? ^cc
If you guys knew anything about marketing, you would put the 2.0L turbo engine into the 2024 Kona Limited, and optional on the N Line. Then again, unlike Hyundai Europe, you still don't sell the i20N or the Bayon 3 cyl turbo here. Nothing like giving Chevy , Buick, and Ford the free pass in the CUV market, with the obsolete Accent and Venue....🙄🫣🤮🤡💯
