God says "Seek first the kingdom of God" meaning as you continue walking with God, you will find her, but it starts with Him, not her. Adam got a wife WHILE he was walking with God. Pray that God gives you a helper that suits you, and then put it at the back of your mind (yes, simply forget it and let God remember it) and just focus on seeking God. Don't worry about who has a partner. Focus on God. Before you know it (just like Eve) you'll wake up next to your wife someday. Don't be like the Israelites who wondered "When are we getting to this 'promised land'?" Focus on the cloud and pillar of fire (Jesus Christ) and you will get there.
As an Israelite, I must say this is excellent advice!
I married two non believers both committed adultery I love Christ first so in lonely all I dream about is a loving sweet woman who loves God with all their being

Get fit and focus on yourself, it will most likely make a difference and I hope you find one.
Thats why God gave us characteristics of a good wife, and told us to use wisdom when choosing a woman.

Thank you Mike and Deb. My husband and I are a testament to that supernatural grace. We started out buddies, but both had our share of real problems (and still do). But if not for the sheer grace of God, I don't know where we would be. Four children later, we are growing in ways I never knew either of us could and that is just God--the Lord Jesus Christ doing a miracle in our lives. Amen!

Question: When I pray, how do I listen for Gods answer, since He doesn't normally give one that we can physically hear?
I've been told that we hear God's voice by reading his word, by hearing what other people (close to you or not) may say about your situation, and by your circumstances in life. Hope this helps.
You pray, you study God's word which relates to what you're going through, and trust in God that he will guide you to where you need to be.
Ngl bro I have something called Godincidents where I have a question and I get the direct answer from a sermon or this one time from a movie at church. I remember the first time I preached the day before I couldn’t sleep, but the daily Bible verse on the app was the same one I was preaching on. It was James 1 I believe not completely sure it was on being a doer of the word not just a hearer

Should a woman wait for God to send her a man? I don't mean hide at home and hope he shows up. But live her life and hope he will see her and pursue her? I've tried online dating and it's only been heartache.

This is King David we're talking about! And just think how much suffering and betrayal and heartache that God himself went through, goes through and Paul. We are called to suffer!
When I look back at all the heartache and suffering, I see God's mighty hand there. The worst pain and suffering (from heartache) that I ever had, led me straight into repentance, and salvation unto the Lord!

I would like to add a few experiences and thoughts. It is important to find a girl that is spiritually alike as you, don't yoke yourself to a non believer in Jesus Christ....assuming you are a Christian. Approaching my 50th anniversary I can tell you that a lot of what you take an oath to at the ceremony is just not well understood until you have lived it. It is vitally important that Christ is the head of each of you and head of the marriage because you will need the guidance, the endurance that can only come through Christ. There have been many times I have had second thoughts, been under lots of stress but each time I am brought back to the original commitment that I stood before God and took and oath and that I will perform because I love Him. God has been gracious to lead us through the rough spots. God will give you eyes for your spouse if your heart is right. And I must say that a good woman is a finer creation than a man. I really shy away from the advice to "pick a pretty one" or a super one, a very average girl delights her husband just fine.

First and foremost you need to trust in God and have faith in god. Second you in a relationship with got and need to pray. God answers your prayers and helps you get what you ask for including love you just got to have faith and be patient.

I think a lot of of ppl have forgot how to act in today’s society they don’t have patience and let something form they want to rush in and the way I see it only fools rush in call me old fashioned but I like to get to know a woman first you have to be friends first then let nature take its course but what do I know I’m only one person you can lead a horse to water but you can’t make em drink.. Sorry but many Christians will never find the right person or maybe never be the right person and it will cause problems and hurt. Long term singleness for a Christian is very difficult. Start looking early in life or you’ll regret it.

I have been so lonely these last four years since my wife of 13 years divorced me. We were both unbelievers and I was saved a year after she left me. I prayed for her to be saved and that we could be reconciled but now she’s been seeing a new man for a while with way more money than I could ever imagine. They’re in Hawaii together for a few days now. There was a woman from my church who I met at my pastor’s Christmas party a few weeks ago and I was so hopeful but because of the mess I’m in with no hope of it ever getting better she said I’m not the right man for her. I don’t want to be alone anymore but I have no idea how to meet a Christian woman. I’m about ready to just give up on it all. I just can’t take this anymore and I want the Lord to take me home.
And it makes me mad because ive prayed and fasted for many years and God never answered my prayers. While othet men who could care less of Gods will get with whoever they want. It comes so easy for people. Its all about money and gnenetics and blah blah. Irritating how much evil God allows and how much he left our lives in our own hands.

I recently fell into the clutches of a woman who played me something with values, that she doesn't believe in coincidences, etc., she even wore a trinity necklace, I was already ensnared (she's my social worker) but then turned out to be a narcissist with her Jezebel spirit, she ran the program point by point what narcissists did and said to me "maybe I'm the devil" and she grinned at me, since then she has shown her true face

For those parents who don't raise their kids in a church, they are making the Godly intent marriage very hard on their kids, if those kids grow up and first encounter Christ in their mid 20s or 30s. All the good women are usually taken by then by someone who they knew at their church for many years.

I definitely think god HAS designed a partner for us. To think he hasn’t is mad. He has a plan got everything.
You think the maths are unachievable for god? Madness. The power is in our hands. If we work on our stuff and our blocks we become less and less attracted to most people.
Where does it end? It has to be a soulmate. I know people that have met their soulmates. They followed the same process of working on their emotional stuff. Till it just dawned on them who their person was. Often they knew them already, often they had almost no attraction previously.

From my first hand experience this idea of a "soul mate" is not biblical and is very much so demonic. Your wisdom and seeking God through the word of Christ and having a real relationship with him, and then being able to be apart of a Christian community such as a church or a service based group is more ideal and realistic of where you would socialize and communicate and build relationships to be able to test the waters meaning spirits in the people in those communities. Finding a woman of God is more rare than finding gold in a heap of coals. Remember Satan used thr woman in the garden of Eden, just as we have the sin Adam had suffered we have to be delivered from, just as well we have to be delivered from the wanting of a mate more than our first love is God the father. He supplies all our needs, if a wife is needed I believe he will supply. Otherwise remain steadfast and firm in the word.

I think i would have made a good wife, but sadly trying to find the right man in the 'Christian ' dating scene was too difficult. I honesty wish i had not wasted all those years trying so hard to find a 'Christian ' man. There were too many guys who were commitment-phobes, deceptive, or controlling. I was happiest with the one thst was an atheist because he seemed the most 'real,' and straightforward..
When I gave birth to our daughter my husband changed. Didnt look after me or her at all. Went out every night & left me alone and didn't help out. I lost all the baby weight straight away ( went back to a size 8) & he refused to sleep with me & it turned out was seeing other women behind my back. The next guy promised a future ( marriage & babies) but after 2 years was unsure about marriage and was trying to sleep with me unprotected without a proposal.

6:05 - We are not married forever, because Jesus said that in heaven, men and women do not marry or remain married to each other (Matthew 22:30, Mark 12:25, Luke 20:34-36).
We are married until we die, and in heaven we are married to Jesus which is what earthly marriage illustrages.
A lot of married couples are saying a big amen to that.
Truth: Marriage is for the sinner, any that doubt only realize there are none married or given in marriage in heaven, Jesus is not married, God the Father is not married, the only angels married were fallen angels-I believe Adam and Eve were only married aka intimate after the fall. divorce was given because mans heart was hard but I believe marriage was given because mans heart was corrupt.
QUESTION PERTAINING TO RAPTURE: since Jesus will come and take us to heaven quickly,in the twinkling of an eye, will everyone see him at that time or will only those going see, since it happens so fast at that event
The rapture happens in the twinkling of an eye but the rapture itself is just a form of transition between here and the sky. Once we are in the sky we will meet Jesus there and then our old bodies will turn to dust or vapor. After that we will receive new angelic bodies/spiritual bodies and then we will celebrate the marriage supper of the lamb with Jesus Christ. So yeah, you get to meet Jesus both during and shortly after the rapture. However those who are not raptured will not see Jesus. They will see Jesus when the second coming happens.
