Such a pleasant and productive conversation. I pray this young woman has put her trust in Christ, that God protects her from being the victim of any more racism but if he doesn't that she realizes that she is made in God's image and she doesn't have to be held down by other's views on race, and that she realizes the greatest evil of this age is abortion and she becomes an abolitionist too.

There are a lot of people who attribute discrimination to racism, who are wrong about that. There are loads of physical aspects someone could be discriminating against a person based on: clothing choices, posture, gait, maybe someone recognizes the person from a situation in which they felt they were treated poorly, etc., etc.

@goman335 you can't experience racism. Racism is too nebulous a term. On top of that, feeling you experienced racism is completely subjective. I can intend to make a joke, and you can take it as malicious racism.
I'm black and 40. I have two core memories from my childhood that I used to consider racist. They were stories I told that had clear evidence of racism, no one ever challenged me so I never considered I could of misinterpreted the situation. As I go older I realized my initial take was flawed. One instance was (in my opinion now) obviously a joke, but I took it as blatant racism for like 15 years.
The other time a store worker ignored me at a store counter. I was like 10 years old and by myself. He could of been racist and ignoring the black kid, but most likely he just thought the little kid in line was with the adults standing next to him.

@@JohnSmith-rq5vo that’s foolishness. You can’t experience hatred? You gave 2 examples that you aren’t sure of but you like others cannot discredit everyone else because you don’t think you experienced it. If I get called a p@rch m@nkey to my face there is no being subjective about it. That IS a racial slur and was used to be racist. Being told that the south would rise again in the heart of the south by someone who admitted to struggling with racism is not subjective. It was just racism.

The Man in Branson Missouri dies by suicide.
She was driving and someone just rammed her car because she is black?
These are taught thoughts. EVERY bad thing in life is due to race. That comes from a lifetime of hearing her mother and father say that.. and siblings, and everyone around her seconding that mindset.
I would assume 99.999% of Everything that is negative that happens is not in regards to her race, but her own actions, other people having crap moments, etc.
because the 25% of her life Good that happens because she is black isn’t noticed. Like an opportunity. She isn’t saying well, that’s because I’m black.

( I'm Hispanic) it really messed with my mind,it made me feel less valuable, I avoided stores, events, restaurants etc that had white people. it took me until my late 20s to realize it's not true. I have traveled all over the country and people are mostly kind. Yes there is a few bad apples but I see everyone as the same, including myself. To be honest the biggest divide is class, not race. The only color that truly still divides is green, It doesn't matter what my race is if I'm dressed well and spending a lot of money I'm treated very well.

Most White people don't hate black people or hispanic people. Most of America grew up in a European influenced society with heavy Christian morals and values. The problem and conflict occurs when people from outside those beliefs (Muslims, Talmudic Jews, Hindus, etc..) come here in large groups and don't assimilate to the culture they migrated to, but instead try to change it. I don't think it's wrong to not like people who don't share your morals. Harming them isn't right, but at the same time, multiculturalism has destroyed the most prosperous societies.

The only sin God will not forgive is rejecting His only begotten Son Jesus which is choosing to live in sin until your death without salvation, without forgiveness, no covering with Jesus' blood which is, blasphemy by rejecting God's Holy Spirit when he comes knocking on the door of your conscience and you refuse to allow Him in which is denying Him and that He exists. All sin is equal in the sense that it all leads to the same place - separation from God. But since sins are not equally heinous we punish them differently. Murder is a more heinous crime than stealing a stick of gum - so while all sin is equal in the sense it is sin, we can confidently say: “not all sin is equally heinous “.

The issue is this, people are taught to look for the “why?” And ignore the fact that people are sinful and at their core are evil.
For example, a black man that gets treated poorly at a business might assume they were treated badly because they are black when in reality the person who mistreated them might mistreat every one of every race.

    • @gillmsnfillman1691

Looking for the 'why' behind actions shows intelligence. Dismissing things with 'it’s just sin' without deeper examination is misleading, like the serpent in the garden saying, 'Don’t look at the bigger picture, Eve; just eat the fruit.'
It’s astonishing that when the majority’s actions are questioned, we’re expected to turn off our brains.
A black person has every right to consider past and ongoing injustices, given the environment created by the majority.
The idea that it’s all 'just sin' is deflection. Sure, Sometimes, a person is mistreated simply because the other person is inherently terrible, but that doesn’t remove ignoring the environment.

Great discussion. I do have to add two cents worth to it though Russell. I believe both of you were right in speaking about all sins are equal. Revelations 22 speaks of all the sin being equal, but it also states as you said it is a separation from God. In that sense, it does make all sin equal. I believe where things become unequal is in the consequences that God allows us to face because of our sin. the person who steals gum is not gonna face the same consequence here on earth as a person who has murdered. But I also think in God’s eyes both are equally sin. You were both correct. Again, this was a great discussion that we should be having much more in the world today.

Politicians do stoke animosity between groups for political gain. You can’t stay in power if there is no chaos to keep people afraid and anxiety ridden (and needing politicians to fix it). The government, schools, and the media taught this girl that if anything bad happens to her, it’s because the color of her skin…not because that’s just life, and it’s hard for everyone. The powers that be teach young people that you can’t care about anything without caring about race first, which was demonstrated by the very question she posed. Morgan Freeman was right when he said the way to abolish racism, is to stop talking about it.

Even as someone who agrees with alot of what this channel is about something that I find both understandable (because of geographic and family care considerations) and totally weak sauce is that almost all of this is being done in super red Oklahoma. It's like a guy who played basketball in college going to a local YMCA to throw down a bunch of high school kids and plumbers....real impressive dawg.... no come to New England and do all the same that you do. You want to have the most impact right? Go to where you will stand out the most and generate the most conversation. There's alot of boldness taking a bunch of open lay ups in friendly territory, but maybe take a page from the Apostles and venture into the land of the pagans.

There is nothing wrong with wanting a society with people who share your values and morals. For instance, Judaism and their Talmud have nothing in common with the New Testament and Christianity. Therefore, i would like to live in a country where the Talmud has no influence on the laws and culture. Does that make me "LiTeRaLLy HiTLeR"? If so, so be it. Wanting to be governed by Jesus' laws only is not wrong, idc who says so. Its time we believers man up.

I always ask a few questions
#1. Who told you your skin color matters?
    #2 why does it matter?
    # 3 ..who told you that your skin color makes YOU WHO WHO ARE?"
#4 WHY DOES IT MAKE YOU WHO YOU ARE?
#5 CAN YOU PROVE THIS PERSON IS RACIST TO YOU OR SOMEONE ELSE? REALLY PROVE WITHOUT A SHADOW OF DOUBT?
    #6
Why limit yourself to something like skin color, which you cannot change?
    FYI skin color doesn't matter..
If you don't let these words hurt you. They have no power over you ..
Remember the days of " sticks and Stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me"

That lady is well on the path - you can tell by the way she is not afraid to talk with him long time and not get upset. I'm sure God is with her and helping get her to get past that race card she has been taught probably her entire life and is forefront in her conversation.
God bless you lady, and I sure hope you find peace in Him, because it is obvious to many that He is working in you...
(I could be wrong, but I suspect she has a strong christian person somewhere in her life praying for her).

I have a black mom who raised me until I was 10 she was my moms best friend and became my godmother - when my mom was out of it and needed help she took me instead of going to a foster home. Her family is mine and tbh I have beene exposed to a ton of different viewpoints - Ive noticed that a lot of ppl say they were looked at funny, and I have to say that no u do not have ESP so u do not know what was in their thoughts - they looked at me and had that look and i have to tell them to quit trippin - it can be quite serious and I have know ppl to fight over a simple look - be it a white or a black person who looks at a black person may find themselves in trouble explaining what they were 'looking' at - of course this can be applied to individuals anywhere but theres a special problem in the afroamerican community with this from kids boys and girls to adults although most ppl grow out of it - it is a defense mechanism and whether real or not ppl have to be responsible for how they react, adults possess self control - in fact, I learned it and it took me time to learn enough about myself to chill out and shake it loose, it is a negative emotion. When a lot of ppl say they experienced racism i am willing to bet half the time wihout thinking about it too much it was something like this that happened - maybe to a more extreme degree - maybe someone reacted too strongly to the presence of a black male in their vicinity - get used to it bc sometimes women react strongly to any male - I did security and was asked to walk ladies to their cars in the garage and at first I thought it was too much - i was like 20 and nevr hought too much about it til then - too long of comment im just puttin my 2¢ in the mix -
