1. find spaces that look unexciting or unsexy to people and go win that 2. even better that looks non-serious or like a toy to people and go become ias in that. 3. find spaces that's going to be popular or you can make it popular in 2 years . 4. every person who has ever made money without accepting invitation of already running companies has done it this way only.
whenever i see this guy on a podcast , first i get a mutual connect of whatever he says is absolutely true and then I have to watch it 3-4 times to implement it over my head or makes notes of it. The meta quest thing and going niche down is something I have been getting thoughts innately too. It just feels like it's right whatever he says everytime man.

Wrong, it will not separate the bottom FROM the top. Over time, the tools will pull the bottom TO the top. In other words, it helps level the playing field more for all. Eventually, the top falls off or becomes less relevant and retires. Long term its very optimistic and not so gloomy. The benefits could be gained by all if this is done right! What a wonderful world we live in :)
Basically, we wre uncertain of future. Aim to please a niche not masses. Do something not just for money making but also what keeps us at good health.. mental physical and emotional. Dont aim to be the best, aim to be valued (not mainly financial but by actual people for who you matter). Leverage the tools by ai out there. Have various sources of income. Find a sweet spot of whats fun to do, whats needed, and what can earn in decent way, as money is not going to only lead to long term happiness.
Yes Man, AI will exponentially make you better in Domain which you are already have 10-20 years of expertise. For me, It's Fintech, Finance, Accounting, Economics and Statistics
I did 5x-10x my entire charges every project now because I was playing with all the AI Tools since 2022. It does help. True. But I really liked the idea about boring businesses. Recently I have noticed working with B2B it’s a better transaction. It’s not cool, but work is being valued and you are building a very strong relationship with someone who you have genuinely provided value and getting paid for that, feels great.
One more frightening scenario with AGI is lack of innovative tasks from which general humans derive accomplishment or our self worth like painting / coding / singing which cannot be solved by UBI .

I am a designer working for A.I. product company. My personal quest has been for past 3 -4 years come with a Framework which lets everyone collaborate by defining the problem we can solve and how A.I. can help us…… we are in a era of multimodal experiences and models are available for anything. So you should be able to define the context and ask if A.I. can be of help, if yes ideate and come up with scenarios / for which models will be provided……again generative A.I. is not the on,y form of A.I. output out there. Rather going forward there will be auto prompts for example used in creating synthetic data…… so in the future creative thinkers will be in huge demand who knows their domain well……. That’s where job creation will happen…… another important job creation would be ethics and law….. which have to control biases and governance of defining how, what and why……. It’s like writing constitution customised to one…..

All influencer's like Varun mayya who are trying to expedite the adoption of AI don't realise that, if AI can help me get the knowledge & if they can do everything which a TH-cam video or a blog is doing now, e..g. comparing products, providing insights, giving a pros & cons on any historical event or political decision, sharing the experiences of successful people, people will switch to AI this reducing the traffic on these videos/blogs & this destroying the advertisement industry which is only way to monetize this. So, Varun maaya and others while promoting AI, they are silently preparing for their own unemployment.
