I just started, it's like straight crack. Also fully customizable controls so I can finally get that Forza feel on the go. All this at 60 fps too.... What a banger.
Didn't know that Jay Leno was the "Narrator" of the NA version of the game! Pretty cool stuff! About that "time to complete" statement... I'm pretty sure I'm WAY OVER 34 hours at this point, and I'm not over yet haha. Easely on my top 5 PSP games of all time. Great review, loved it
Really glad you liked it 🔥 Haha yeah I remember you said you had over 500 cars that would definitely take more than 17 hours! It’s definitely up there is one of my favorites as well!
While no career mode is a bummer, it’s still a pretty good game if you’re a casual GT fan that cares more about just collecting cars and getting a bite of the experience on the go
after looKing closely at it, it seems like this is a gRan turismo gAme made from the ground up for The psp. at first, i thOught that this game was just a port of the firSt gran turismo game from the psx. oh, and all the capital letters in this comment spells out KRATOS lol
I just recently got this game and it was pretty underwhelming. I get how folks can have fun with this game though. I wish there was upgrading and/or modding your vehicle in this game. The biggest setback for me is no career mode. I thought the first person in this game was a really really neat addition. I have about 12 or so racing games on PSP and this is the only one with first person. The graphics are really good, especially when I play in Need for Speed Undercover right after and its pop in galore. Night and day difference. I feel like the car roster should've been cut down a bit If it allowed a career mode. That's probably not how making games work but do we really need 4 different Daihatsu Moves or Jesus Christ, 8 different Mitsubishi FTO's of the same generation?? I get having the same car for different generations like a 68' Mustang and a 2005 Mustang. I get that but people give way too much credit to this game that is has over 800 cars but I feel like its taking the piss. For example BMW 120d '04 and BMW 120i '04 Both nearly the exact same vehicle and look exactly the same except the 120D has 13 more horsepower and weighs 200 pounds more. WOW. Another example. Daihatsu SIRION CX 2WD (J) '98 and Daihatsu SIRION CX 4WD (J) '98. I dont even have to explain. The vehicles on rotation, I see why they did that with the dealership I guess expand your horizons in the cars you're browsing but I just want to pick what I like. This game seems like a collect-a-thon. Like collecting football cards or change. Except with cars you have to race to earn and buy and racing and earning them the way YOU want to with the custom race options. The no career mode really disappointed me on this game. Pro: Huge track selection, Huge list of cars, first person mode, amazing graphics, in-depth dealership description, pretty good physics. Cons: Not being able to freely shop in the dealership. Huge but bloated car list. No customizing and/or upgrading your cars. No career mode. Only 3 other cars in a race. If you like collecting cars for the sake of it and that's your main incentive when playing this game Then its pretty good. But It does not do it for me. This has makings of a great game but falls behind in the incentive to continue playing. No career mode really kills this game for me. I think a solid 6 out of 10 is more than generous enough. This game is going for $15-20 with no case just the disc. Get Flatout Head On or Burnout Legends or Need for Speed Underground Rivals. All infinitely better games and much cheaper than this game.
Play it almost every day, it's such a great game

@runthedigits1 I got a coworker hooked on the psp and now we just ad-hoc grand turismo at work🤣
Same
same, it's a great timekiller, as well as being able to drive many times around the Nords, easy favorite for me despite it's caveats
@@perezadotartsI just love being able to drive my eg hatch😅
Not having a career mode is a deal breaker.
@@RacerC45 I'm surprised Nobody Never Made A Career Mod
I heavily played it when I was 6-10, reached day 1100, kind of a grinder
Great review watching from Zambia in Africa I'm revisiting psp and ps3 games a lot lately
And GT is one of them 😁

Thanks for the video. I’ve been thinking about getting this game as I’ve had a hard time finding the time to sit down and play a home console GT game.

Great video man
Thank you! Really glad to hear you liked it
I have it when i was 10 years old
Are you playing a bootleg rom? Quite a lot of typos in the game looking at the video.
I wonder what’s with all the typos in the subtitles. I’ve seen several examples and I’m only halfway through.
The typos are there cuz I used an emulated version of the game, and I think it wasn’t translated very well
Kratos
You don't mind this game not having a career mode?
Kratos from GOW
Gran turismo psp is so iconix

So slow and boring looking. I played a bit. Might play again and see if it gets better.
