Good for you Dave. Your hard work on YT deserves a quieter saw. Definitely worth the investment. When I switched to an induction motor table saw the whole street appreciated it.
Yeah loud is an understatement. To be fair when the saw is on & my workshop door closed you can hardly hear it from outside as my workshop is quite well insulated. Will save my hearing in the long run though which is ideal

Congratulations on your upcoming new saw, I know what you mean by loud, I have a DeWalt 7491 and it's definitely loud in my steel shed , my belt drive Chinese 12inch tablesaw runs quieter than the DeWalt stay safe & all the best with regards to your family cheers Dave 👍👍

You'll have to wait for the reveal. Of course I'm limited with space so can't buy a big saw but it's better than the dewalt
