He’s got a point. I didn’t want 1 to 1 live action and I like some of the changes and the cast. But the main trio seem so flat, felt like they have only half their personality Zuko and Iroh were okay tho
I only have like 4 things I don't really like. 1. Them taking away Katara's mom moments, if we don't get, "when I try to remember my mom, Katara's face is the only face I can picture" I will RIOT! 2. Skipping the fortune telling, Haru, and Jeong Jeong episodes, though I guess they could be in season 2, so I'm not stressing over that. 3. Roku's personality. It's just annoying. And for anyone who doesn't know, they didn't mention Sozin's Comet because they didn't want to set a time crunch because they're working with younger actors. 4. THEY HAD NO RIGHT TO MAKE ME FEEL THE FEELS WHEN IROH WAS MOURUNG LU TEN WITH "Leaves From the Vine" playing over that scene! No right!😭😭😭
@@corinnatate 1. Katara’s mom had a lot of moments, especially in EP5. The scene you’re talking about doesn’t even happen until S3. 2. I agree I hope we get Jeong Jeong in S2 and Haru would be a good storyline too. The Fortune Telling one will not make it to live-action. I think they mentioned it in the bar Zuko was in too when they mentioned the canyon crawler and defeating a volcano. 3. Definitely agree Roku’s personality was not my favorite. They did mention the comet though at the very end of the season, but yeah it wasn’t news Aang had heard from Roku. 4. Right?? They decided to play my heartstrings instead of a real instrument. 😭

Bc i memorize everything from the animated as i watched it like 100 times. Its more of the character arc and behavior being different, not the lines.
I actually like the fact that sokka isn't sexist. Him in the og being sexist was dealt with badly. He instantly lost sexism once he fell in love with a girl? Oh please. I like live action sokka more, he actually feel more than just a comic relief. Also for aang, Gordon mentioned that the change they made in aang is his seriousness. Ofcource live action aang is goofy, but he's more serious and more sadder here. The reason is that it's more realistic, I mean in the animation aang instantly acted all happy go lucky, even after knowing that his whole people got g3n0cided. Its more realistic for aang to be in grief for at least book 1.
"Whats the point of making a live action if youre just going line by line?" Well, yknow, the story would have an actual story to it. Making Avatar the last Airbender into a live action is such a great formula for success, but somehow the writers STILL managed to make another avatar live action flop

Some of yall og fans are just blinded by nostalgia. The la wasn't bad. It did have some flaws, but some parts of it are better than the animation. Plus it's doing pretty well. Wouldn't say that a show getting renewed for 2 more seasons is a flop.
The book 3 hair will be glorious.

Truth be told, most of Zuko's scenes are impeccable. A highlight of the live-action show.
