Long barreled flintlock guns like this existed for hunting birds, called fowlers. I don't think any were this large though. I don't think bird shot / swan shot would have this big of an effect on human sized targets though. Large wall guns also existed as the description says.
Although the model is a 1717 French Infantry Musket, such comically large muskets did exist. They were known as "wall guns", although they predate the napoleonic wars i believe. Go search em up
Basically, you're a Napoleonic version of a tank, artillery gun, or a mortar. Only without the crew helping reload the gun or the damage reduction of armor. (Not talking about cannons for mortars or artillery, I'm talking about modern times.)
Coming back to this after the update. I wish this got put into the game over the "Air Rifle" because them putting this into the game would of been more historically accurate because soldiers from the napoleonic wars did carry a massive fire arm like this around, towards places they needed to heavily defend.
However, there's always a bigger gun. The big ernie thing that requires two people in order to shoot it, basically a portable cannon. If big ernie is added in the game at some point, during the shot, it deals 7 to 22 damage to players who hold it. The bullet passes through 17 enemies dealing 167 and has a relatively long reload. Only accessible via secret command. It is really unlikely that a Dutch wall gun or big ernie is added into the game.
i dont know why but theres this thing called a "wall gun" and its basically an oversized musket to deal with sieges. if enemy is close enough sometimes soldiers will instead fill it with little balls creating an overkill shotgun
Fun fact: The first ever bolt-action rifle was designed and produced in Prussia (because of course the Germans would be the first) and I want to see it in the game. It was single shot, but far more accurate and had a much higher rate of fire than the enemy’s muskets. And it shot bullet-bullets, the ones we’re all familiar with.
Long barreled shotgun guns did exist for hunting ducks, one in particular called the punt gun. I do indeed know that they where this large and even bigger. the thing indeed does have a very detrimental effect on human sized targets and also cars.
I wished you demonstrated the breaking of the spine after firing the weapon. Also, during the Revolutionary Wars, America acquired French 1717 rampart guns and did use them as infantry muskets, and did in fact load multiple projectiles into them at times. However, the 1717 ranpart gun was a much smaller gun than this, though. Still, love the concept, and I appreciate the amount of effort put into a joke concept here.
"This thing was meant to be fired off of mounts installed to the walls of forts, but there's nothing stopping you from hip firing it, I guess." - Bubbles after you buy this
Fun fact.... in England there was once a gun called the "Punt gun" a gun so big that it's even longer than the musket shown in this video which was invented to hunt ducks :D
It's a wall gun it's historically accurate but it's always seen on forts since it's too unwieldy so its attach to bastions and earthworks as a stationary weapon
Air rifle was added despite being shat on as a horrible suggestion of a gun, what is ironic THIS thing was actually used unlike the air gun, except it was held by two people. To fire safely.
People are mentioning punt guns and elephant guns, but I should bring attention to the fact that this very much is what is called a "wall gun," a large, scaled up infantry musket, found in calibers of up to and over an inch in diameter. They were used for breaking up enemy advances and were about this size.
I wouldn't really call this a joke because their are muskets like that, that actually existed. Theirs a gun called the "Rampart Musket" or as others would call it, the "Wallgun" which is a piece of artillery equipment that bridges the gap between musket and artillery. Look up "Flintlock 4 bore rampart musket" on here, theirs a video of a dude shoulder firing something like that I kid you not. The dude shoulder firing it didn't even have the thing mounted on anything. I hope they add something like this to the game because it would be very interesting to see. (EDIT)One more thing you kind of a little wrong about them not carrying something like that around. They absolutely would have carried that around, but not all the time because of how heavy it is, but they would only carry that with them to a location that they need to very heavily defend again'st enemies.
if they add this, might as well add a Giant Zombie which can kill a player upon grab (which can be saved but unlike the Runner, This zombie has to die to let go of the victim. Meaning this zombie has a larget healthpool than a Runner who gets oneshit by any damage except Priest, they're either a backliner or a god assassin waiting for a buff on stake.) Health: ×1.8 as a Zapper has Damage: 19% of HP if punched, 5 seconds to save a grabbed player. and also slows the player by 32% Resistance: Melee Damage including Bayonet Charge (by 60%, if a bayonet charge activates and a player hits the Giant Zombie, their charge will end and will have their gun stuck on the zombie unless killed, then you can retrieve your gun) and, Halves the penetration of all weapons that hit it. Weakness: Headshots (×2.5) So a Rifle or a Nock Gun can kill this behemoth in one go. Walkspeed: ×2 times slower than your average Zapper Likely to Spawn: Catacombs (Hold-out until the bell tolls), Leipzig (Wait for Jacob) Berezina (at 80% completion of the bridge) Copenhagen (Wait for the boat to cross the gap) and Endless Mode (At later waves, The server can spawn one or two giants, the Giants only gets faster walkspeed capped at 10% and HP at 20% so dont worry on Endless about Giants getting more HP ) Special Interaction: (Grenade Sacrifice) While using or holding a grenade, if a Giant grabs you, an animation will forcefully make the player sacrifice themselves while being devoured by the Giant, afterwards the Giant explodes, harming nearby zombies as lethal as a bomber. Does not harm players.
Wall guns would be a interresting concept in endless or holdout areas. I wouldt add It as a purchasable weapon but as a enviromental weapon, Like a small Canon or swifel gun, with Limited walking mobility
May I suggest the punt gun? It’s a 1 BORE, which means it’s physically the biggest “shotgun”ever made. (It’s literally a big, one shot blunderbuss that requires two people to fire)
IDEA: 350 damage, 40 pierce, 1 large pellet and 5 small pellets that do 2 pierce aswell as 25 damage per pellet. and a 25 second reload also a bit more accuracy than musket. better for lines than a group
This... actually makes logical sense. It's a punt gun- a gun designed to kill large amounts of birds in a single shot. While not the most _obvious_ choice for a zombie apocalypse, it is literally purpose-built to deal with hordes.
Fun fact, guns like these exist, in the form of elephant guns, guns designed to kill elephants
They’re also designed to kill me… ouchie!
With all that strength you can kill a dragon in one shot!
All there guns called wall guns
Why did they want to kill elephants tho?
@@zaireje8827hunt for tusks. They are very valuable

hi fezezen
Super blunderbuss
please add a musketoon
Add this shit rn this is a threat
I mean… the punt gun exists and I think it’s actually a lot bigger than the gun shown in the video.
Send this game to the public with the funny weapons.
They wouldn't ban a game just because you used de same clothes.
Yes that would be good but I would consider asking fez or a dev to use the clothes.
I guess... leme consider it for while. It would need some rewriting but wont be priority for now.
Headless Horseman watching this: 👁👄👁.
He don't even have a head (since he's headless) how it is watching it?
@@mayphyo9024 has pumpkin inside! and he can still see you!
This in combination with a gun stand to act as basically a portable mini artillery piece would be a sick unlockable weapon

Ah yes the punt gun.
I think punt gun is using hammer not flint
0.1% chance of breaking your spine 💀💀
I can already imagine this being super useful in maps like Tyrol and Catacombs

Dutch wall gun
A gun that instantly kills everything

The fact the heavy musket reloads faster than the nock gun😭🙏
Ok That is Cool and also Cool Video as well of course 😁
🦕 Thank you
1:00 not gonna lie, I'd use it even if it has cons that would instantly kill me if I used it in a large horde
Don’t forget the Puntgun

NockGun : Look at what they did to be a fraction of my power.
"They couldn't hit an elephant at this distance."
this guy:
This would be an excellent gun on Tyrol Village when camping the canyon side, since it'll basically instant kill for virtually any wave
That's a lot of damage🗣️🗣️🔥
cant wait to try this at home with my own heavy musket
A gun like this existed, and the proper way to fire it required1 person at the back, and 1 person at the front.
my man is using a Boat Mounted Nock Gun as a primary, legendary
using this on the tyrolean village cliff would be an execution 💀💀
"Brother, get the Musket. The Heavy, Musket." - An infantryman
This is a cool idea, but I can't see the devs adding this into the base game. As a /give command weapon would be awesome though
heavy musket + heavy sabre = heavy line infantry / private
I wished you demonstrated the breaking of the spine after firing the weapon.

and why not? its an awesome concept! i want it!

It's a wall gun it's historically accurate but it's always seen on forts since it's too unwieldy so its attach to bastions and earthworks as a stationary weapon
If the Nockgun was made to break your shoulder this is surely designed to blow your entire arm off
Man. Recoil animation is something awesome! You can actually FEEL this weapon and all power in your hands.
A bit sad what it's only for joke gun...

"can't move while reloading". Blood and Iron moment
We need this into the game
If you ran out you can swing it like a really long stick
And image zombies trying to steal the musket While just reloaded
there's a more historical versiion of this though its not a long musket; its called the nockgun and is practically the ancestor of all shotguns
I mean... It's in game
But if we're talking about, a literal musket but B I G, we have elephant guns
comically large musket
A god damn the cannon...
Imagine bro predicts this one too

I AM LOVING THIS GODDAMN GUN
man if only this was in the main game i wanna use it
yes i think it be useful in certain moments such as saving you're team
Make it so it can penetrate thin walls
Basically the punt gun,
The punt gun was also a muzzle loader!
I think the heavy musket is more like the punt gun honestly
But hey nice concept mate:]

downsides? hah. good luck running from hordes!
this is the Punt Gun basically
I would like to see this in the game
my bones after one shot:
This actually existed once, and it took 2 people to carry it
AND fire
I hope they add it to gnb for April fools

I would love to see this in the game but that’ll probably never happen
It seems to me that this will do for those who like to "Load the Gun".
Punt gun lol they are large cap/flintlock guns mount on a punt or small boat to hunt birds
IDEA:
350 damage, 40 pierce, 1 large pellet and 5 small pellets that do 2 pierce aswell as 25 damage per pellet. and a 25 second reload also a bit more accuracy than musket.
better for lines than a group
if you have it equipped you have to carry it
the biger the gun he is the biger the fun is to
Punt gun: am I a joke to you?!
the punt gun
You can find the actual Heavy muskets during the Balkan, Serbian uprisings
Bring out the hand cannons:
thats either a fowling piece or a wall gun a very large wall gun
Need this.
basicaly the punt gun
Remember! The French can fire the heavy musket 2 shots per minute, so keep practicing your drill
Better than a Rifle-
Early anti tank weapon
Anti tank weapons existing before tanks themselves is -crazy-
They could made this as an april fools weapon for seaman class.

Ah yes a very easy way to break your spine.
That is a hella a musket
Now that packs a punch
this would be good in like tyrolean village
If there is no 0.1% chance to break your back due to its 7 pellets it’s better than the rifle
0:24 effect is dramatized, do not try this at home!
as if i have a wall gun in my house...
This gun can usefull for Line Infantry Class. I will subscribe because this gun is also my favourite!
Would be cool if equipping it would make you unable to unequip it/have other gears
That actually a good idea
I am heavy weapons guy, and *this* is my weapon.
oh, a wall gun
this is just the 1700s or 1800s version of the punt gun ngl
