      I get confused with how to do hyperlinks , add flipping tabs and start putting in the month on the tabs is a disaster for me do one of how you flip pages and add hyperlinks also using master slide full video not separate

    A little tip for when you’re customizing fonts in tables or boxes, select them all and then customize how you want (if you want them all the same). That way you don’t have to do every individual one. They’ll all be the font, size, color, position you want. :)

      Yes, great tip! Customizing the theme accents of the presentation is always an option

    I’ve only recently discovered digital planning. I just bought an iPad for digital art and drawing, but I think I’m more excited to try this instead now! I just wanted to thank you for all your helpful videos - I’ve been a Mac and iPhone user forever, but trying to figure all this out on my own would have been so daunting! 💖

    This is invaluable! Thanks! I use a Plum Paper Planner (which I use fir overall weekly planning), but I just got Procreate and an Apple Pencil and wanted to create a daily digital planner that has customized fields that I can change as often as I think is necessary. Thanks for shortening the learning curve! 🥳🙌🏾🎁🎅🏾🎄

    I love your tutorials they are so easy to follow and your instructions are so clear, I could happily lite. To you explaining things all day! I’ve been using iPad for years, never digital planning, but I am needing to create a log for jewellery I make and utilising a digital planner will be perfect….i just need to learn how…. So I can create what I need. I’m also looking to create one for my mum she has had a written holiday log for every canal holiday they ah e been on since I was a baby, I’m now late 40’s and they have been with the same company. Mum wanted to digitise her logs with photos, so I’ve been looking for a way for he to achieve her goal. When I found digital planners I realised that this would work for her as well, though I can’t really get 40 years of tabs on a notebook, but I’m sure I can find a way to make it work. So she can do what she wants to. Just need to learn how to create an entire planner from start to finish - there is a lot more to it than just creating a single page with tabs on! Though I see on the side you ah e 400 odd pages so I really have a lot of things still to learn. Do you have a tutorial which shows creation from start to finish or just goes through the entire notebook from start to finish showing where pages are etc even if it doesn’t show the full creation process but the how! Eg custom pages where are they kept in the planner, stickers, templates dividers etc and how does it work so that once Imported into a notebook the user can choose template use and show how do they get that where they need it etc. would help a lot in seeing how these work in principle and how to get the thought process going for how to achieve the desired end goal. Thank you 😊❤

    This video is so awesome but I have a question, in the first video when you made the monthly planner part and linked the tabs I get that part, but now if you add behind the January tab a weekly page like you just showed us do you have to remind all the side tabs since you are now adding pages in between?

    Re: transparent backgrounds, keynote allows you to make backgrounds transparent, and also to export transparent PNGs. Not sure about PDFs

      @KDigitalStudio  5 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      Totally right. Imported PDFs with transparent backgrounds turn white or black though since it's not in the nature of those files to be transparent.
      Keynote is a good option though for exporting transparent images, thank you!

      KDigitalStudio Sheila Lewis-Lorum there is a slightly easier way. Enter all days first. Then double click the main template. Select all and then press the paint brush. Select your placement settings choice ( left, right, center). Select the arrow that is pointing up ☝️. This will adjust all the numbers. Hope this helps. What if you’re tying to have a monthly page and also want weeks in the planner? Will I have to link tabs for each week of the month on top of the monthly tab? Or is there a way not to put the weekly tabs anymore..?

    • @KDigitalStudio
      @KDigitalStudio  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Making tabs for the weeks would be too much I think. Think 12 months and 52 weeks = too many tabs. I normally use "invisible" links to make links for the weeks. You can also put a little icon in the first box of the week, turn that into a link, and then have it link to the week!

      Hi! It depends. I sometimes use both. When I first started making digital planners, I hadn't figured out master slides, so I did everything organically by hand. As expensive as the Apple Pencil is, I def think it’s worth saving up for because every other stylus falls super short of the pencil. I always check open box prices through Best Buy because that’s where I can get my tech the cheapest! If you’re a student, you can get even more discounts too!

      i found one on amazon for $40ish - it does what i need for now so i can save up for the real deal later. Also I would suggest getting some kind of "skin" for it for several reasons.
      1 - the one I bought is totally round and just rolls off the table.
      2 - it gives you more gripping power in your hand when you have something that makes the pen a little bigger. Sort of like the old school things we used to put on pencils in school. You know the ones I mean... :D

      No, not at all. Two separate apps. Once you export the PDF, you cannot make any changes to it in GoodNotes (just draw, write, add images, etc.) on top of it. If you want to make an edit to the actual PDF file you need to head back into the Keynote presentation, edit it, and then re-export it back to GoodNotes.
