Sweet Paul. I will be thinking of you on this next journey to NED. When recalling the days of the terrible suffering with ascites, it is truly remarkable where you are today and what you have overcome. I love the lesson you shared on happiness. You inspire me to move despite some chronic health issues and pain. I will be 54 in August. I feel as though i was 33 just yesterday, fit and strong. When we are young, we never imagine how tired and possibly injured we may become. I was a devoted athlete...ballet, kickboxing, a massage therapist. Some days, my body feels broken. You continue to push through again and again. I wish you and Caroline were close to me. I love you both. Here in USA, i have always called the flannel a wash cloth, though mine are terry fabric. You will be in my thoughts and prayers❤❤

Great planning on your part! You are going to do so well with this surgery! I am so glad you are focusing on high protein and avoiding sugar. Cancer loves sugar - all the medical literature supports this fact. Protein and fat in the right amounts converts to ketones and cancer can not use ketones for growth. Stay the course!!! Yay for Caroline - she is an angel!
I cannot even wrap my head around the fact you could end up NED after this surgery! It’s really exciting and I’m really stoked to hear about Sydney and then hospital updates. Your emotional state is so different than the previous time. It’s a beautiful thing to see and very encouraging for anyone who struggles with mental health in any situation. Pressure bursts pipes but also makes diamonds, and you Paul are a 💎

movement is. Oh my, I've totally fallen for Barkley. Hi, Caroline. I'm getting more and more desperate about being able to walk after my surgeries on neck and spine. Before my most favorite thing in life for exercise was walking 5 miles per day. Loved it took all my stress away too. Now, the feeling and difference in not being able to walk is tearing me apart. I'm not giving up trying. I won't stop. Thank goodness I have several other hobbies but none compare to mobility. I'm praying for you and Caroline daily. Looking forward to Noel's bike ride on my birthday. Always a pleasure hearing you and seeing what T-shirt you are wearing. Take care my friend. I am so with you on spa day. Nothing feels better. Yes a facial with washcloth or towelette. Very sad indeed about Dr Dan. I respect him as I do you. Great loss. That's crazy news not being able to shave before hospital.
Well, you've seen how far I've come. Big comebacks are possible, but they take time. Start with taking care of your mental health, then concentrate on consistent exercise with a physiotherapist guiding you. Paul.

White rice is brown rice with the bran and germ removed. The bran and germ both contain valuable nutrients. As a result, white rice is lacking in some antioxidants, B vitamins, minerals, fats, fiber, and a small amount of protein. I hope this helps, mate! Looking good, Paul! I just love the fun you and Caroline have together. In the USA, we call that a wash rag or wash cloth.
I also want to say how much of an inspiration you are. After you get through this surgery and recover, maybe think about being an inspirational speaker.
I think it's great that someone is going to translate your videos to other languages. I haven't missed a single video and I know it's a huge task but I think translating all of them would be awesome. I would volunteer but I only speak English 😢
Barkley looks just like a Labradoodle. My sister-in-law had one, and he was a sweet dog. He got huge, though, tall like a great dane.

You and Caroline are absolute rockstars and the cutest besties! You're going into this like a boss, so proud of you! Barkley is beyond precious, and so good for the heart. Your story is just beginning, and you have millions of lives to still help with your light, hope, tenacity and brilliance.
And thank you for reminding us to push to get out. I think I've found some crutches that might work! My home isn't wheelchair accessable and i have no control over my legs, and am very brittle boned. I am actually strong, from exercising on the good days, but my spine/body is wrecked. It would certainly make my pup happy if i could throw that frisbee everyday. Goal set! Hugs and smooches to you guys 🤍🙏🕊🐇

Our current situation is us at our best. Loving and yet independent.
It's always good to have plans down the road. You seem very positive in your recent videos. If you're ever in Colorado your welcome to stay with us. I use the term that prisoners use--3 squares and a cot. You were thinking of doing something positive in the near future. Might I suggest you lead a support group for those that are going through the same thing that you've been through. I'm think about doing that for people that may be facing a liver transplant or those who have already had one. We call that cloth you had either a wash rag or face rag. Keep up the positive attitude and say hi to Caroline for me. Now I know where the new Phantom of the Opera will be. Mark from Colorful Colorado.

Glad to hear you are doing well Paul. I think that doing your prehabilitation is giving you something to do, and also doing these TH-cam videos! Don’t underestimate how meaningful they are to many people. I hope that you get to the point to work again since you desire that. But in the meantime, perhaps some of the things you are instinctively doing are helping you find purpose in the in between and helping your mental health, so keep it up!😊

Hi Paul, Caroline & Barkley, so good to see you, I look forward to your updates. You have a cheerful uplifting voice, pls don’t ever feel alone. We are all here for you. U are helping a lot of us. I wish u all the best with your upcoming surgery. I had to laugh at the face masks.
Another wonderful video thank you. I know that a knee replacement and what you are going through, are not even on the same playing field, but I wanted to tell you that I did 3 months of prehab before my knee replacement last year, and even the doctor and physios etc were all stunned at how well and fast that I recovered. The after surgery rehab was so much easier for me compared to other people going through rehab at the same time. I’ve had 7 spinal surgeries in the past 5 years, and I try and wake up from the anaesthetic being positive about the pain and recovery in front of me. I do have another spinal fusion coming up after breaking C2 in January this year. I haven’t been able to get myself into pre-surgery state of mind for this surgery, so I will be interested in noting how I recover from this next spinal surgery. I live in Canberra, and if I wasn’t in 10+ pain, I would drive up the road to Sydney and chauffeur you around and show you what sights you want to see. Maybe you might enjoy a trip to Canberra when you are over this next surgery, I would be honoured to show you the sights of ‘The Secret City’ - if you know, you know lol. I wanted to let you know that you are firmly on my mind, and I’m sending every positive vibe out into the universe for you and your continued journey back to full health. I’m just a small cog in the Paul’s Care Team, but please know how much you have come to mean to me while being on the other end of the ether during this god awful journey you have been on. You’ve come so far, and it’s a complete joy to see you so well, happy and confident. I can’t wait to hear whatever medical updates you and gorgeous Caroline have the time to bring us from Sydney. Much love and big hugs ❤❤

The "Secret City" of Canberra has me intrigued. I once went to a Hellfire club in Darlinghurst. It's not that is it? I mean... nah.... it couldn't be. Canberra is way too cold for that!
