I’ve learned that to cook a Chinese recipe you need a wok, lot of oil, these two buckets and corn starch 😆

Not actually. All deepfry dishes use a lot of oil, that is why it has to be hot so the oil do not get in the food (google a bit on frying technique ; ) [funny though]
