- Ideal Cologne is one of the reviewer darlings from this line and I have finally thrown my opinion onto the pile. It is currently dirt cheap but seemingly discontinued.

I like this quite a lot. It's a little deeper than most fresh citrus scents and it seems very well made in the typical Guerlain way. I intend to wear this in the autumn, too. Loved the review, Pep.

Excellent review, thank you. I really like this one, yes something simple, but I like the added creaminess here making it a little different to other cologne type perfumes.

Spot on. Of colognes, my go to is Dior Homme Cologne ☺ and my favourite of the ideal line is the edp 😁 smokey guerlainade. I havent tried the latest one yet but looks interesting.
Brilliant Review Pep. Purchased a few of these when they were on sale. Really nice scent , on the light side for sure. For some reason it reminds me of one of my Fav , Armani Eau Pour Homme less the almond note.

Please don't pay too much. I really only bought this when it was heavily discounted and was hardly risk for $20 . Luckily i liked it.
Nice video as always Pep. I’ve had this a while now and whilst it is clearly great for the price point, I still haven’t quite grown to love it however hard I try. Not sure it will survive my next declutter but I’ve not fully given up on it yet!

Nice review! I checked the L'Homme Ideal Extreme and I think is very nice. Have quite many fragrances already for fall and winter that I love though, did not feel compelled to get the Extreme.
Got this Cologne few months ago (50 ml) from Amazon Germany for €37.90 , it is in fact still available, now for €39.90. Wish I had purchased it at half price, that would have been quite the bang for buck. I like it a lot for warm/hot weather, very understated and elegant. I list it among my absolute top choices for hottest weather, whenever a very breathable linen shirt is in order:
-Mugler Cologne
-Dior Homme Cologne
-Chanel Allure Home Edition Blanche EDP
-Prada L'Homme L'Eau
-Guerlain L´Homme Ideal Cologne
-Caron pour un Homme Sport
PS. Would include Dior's Eau Sauvage too but don't have it yet. Planning to get it at some point together with Dior Eau Sauvage Parfum

I have a soft touch for the original EDT version because it gave me that unique experience. Cologne version starts off citrusy and very fresh which is lovely but then it joins the original EDT world. My only reason why I sold Cologne was that it became redundant. That fresh opening wasnt worth to keep my money trapped. But because it is so cheap these days, you cannot go wrong here.
Having sampled EDP version at the airport at the time of it`s release, I observed that it was somehow similar to a cherry Fahrenheit version (la parfum). Win for Dior again as it was made first.
Always a great review. Tried this fragrance but didn't like it. It's a preference thing, however. I'm not into anything with an almond note.

I picked this up last year for $17 after hearing how it was being discontinued and a good cheapie. It was a blind buy and while it's a pleasant easy wear, I wouldn't repurchase. I haven't smelt any of the others in the line💜l

Great review! I like this one alot. Very calming and relaxing scent caracter and the quality is absolutely great. On the other hand this is one of the least favorite in my fiances opinion. She said that this smell too feminin and like a sunprotect cream or sunscreen.

Love this Fragrance. I bought 5 - 6 bottles of this at Chemist Warehouse late last year for 20 Dollars a Bottle.

The genius of this is that almond is unusual in a Summery cologne, it's very pleasant and nobody could possibly be offended by it. It's very rare I would recommend blind buying something but at this price, it's an absolute steal.

I pretty much have the exact same opinion. Reasonably happy with the fragrance, but after I use up my bottle, I won't be buying another.

If you can't find it on any discount websites, my best advice is to enquire in fragrance facebook groups that have buying and selling.

I had to pay a hunred dollar for a 100 ml bottle. It is extremely rare in my place.
Well, the low prices here were extremely low. I know a lot of people bought one who would not have considered it at original retail price.
It has been discontinued. Easy reach for warmer weather. Four stars from Luca Turin.

@@TheScentinel Yes, well LVMH has made a lot of blunders with Guerlain. Apres L'Ondee and Muchoir de Monsieur have also been phased out, at least in the US.
