Beautiful fragrance, SUCH a hidden gem! sadly not so great longevity, but its honestly only meant to be worn when its hot out. Sorta like how L'homme by YSL is for the higher heat but smells as good like it can be used for anytime. Also, this is Unisex AF!

Just picked up a bottle of this at tj max for $15.00 on clearance. Score, then went back a few days later and bought a back up bottle this is one of my best buys all year, it's really well blended smells as good as some fragrances that cost 5 times what this is currently going for I'd say it's one of the best values in the entire fragrance community

Great review. Actually blind bought this one last year during the fall and thought I was a perfect warm weather scent. Nice mix to throw in a summer scent rotation. Actually performs well on me, even in higher temps. Really good quality for the price too.
The EDP flanker of this is my FAVE!!!
Ideal Cologne is great just doesn't project much.. very affordable
you should try Geir Ness for men it's in the same vein as Ideal Cologne very wearable floral
Love the bottle and the scent.. Fresh citrusy yet creamy.. Longevity is decent and projection is below average..

Totally agree about prformance u got to expect it to vary depending on the type of fragrance .
This is my go to gym and afternoon chill scent since it's so pleasant and inoffensive. Surprisingly on me it's pretty long lasting and it does push out when your skin heats up. Best blind buy this year. BTW I live in Southern Cali so even in 115 degree heat it works very well and is a super clean fresh scent.

This is some fabulous juice and the price can't be beaten - it'd be my signature if it only lasted at least 4hrs but on my skin, it pushes about 2hrs tops
I honestly get around 7 hours of projection with my bottle

the only almond fragrance i have is armaf craze which is a clone of parfums de marly pegasus..... since that one is for winter im considering this fragrance for summer.... 🤔

How is the longevity?
Mike Martin decent,turns into more of a skin scent after ~5-6 hours.
I only started wearing it this summer so i can’t comment on how it would hold up in fall/winter (Fragrantica rates it as a fall/winter scent).
A bit more effective indoors compared to outdoors,but on my skin, gets the job done in heat with 3 sprays. I should note that it was a semi-blind buy for me,but I’m content with it. You might wanna test a bit more thoroughly.

it only softens the citrus notes more, which makes it more comfortable. Today is a very nice fall wearther in Hanoi, Vietnam, temperature is around 25 degrees Celsius, at night about 20, and I love wearing this one.

I bought this cologne a month ago and all I do is get compliments. I even had a women stop me a block later and complimented me on the way I smell.
Ty King how many sprays do you do? Love this scent but doesn’t project on me.
I used 6-8 Sprays in projects the first 3-4 hrs then becomes a up close personal scent but still gets compliments

I’m thinking about buying it as a blind buy ...I’ve tried the EDT and EDP but ... none of them worked for me :( that good !!! Not very good longevity and projection. Do you think this one would do the same ?

@@stianb.a.3585 unfortunately, I got both lol. But Id say that the guerlain can be a signature fragrance. Smells good and unique at least IMHO.
Girls can totally rock this scent. I've had this for a few months and I love it. Try a sample if possible. I don't feel like a guy in this scent. I think this is unisex, and not just for guys, even though guys smell great in this.
True men can wear unisex fragrance. Only boys that need to overcompensate by using overly manly fragrance.

I honestly prefer Dior Homme Cologne at the moment. There are times when Guerlain L'homme Ideal cologne reminds me of an air freshener smell, it is still nice regardless.
I’d have to say Dior Homme Cologne just because I have it and it PERFORMS PRETTY DAMN WELL on my skin!! 👍🏽
I love the way it smells, but on my skin the performance is garbage and to be honest the projection is trash too. Super lame because it smells amazing.
I think my juice is counterfeit, then. All I get is a tart orange with little pepper and musky dry down. Where's the creamy touch? Where's the almond?

Excellent Dallas!, this is my favourite scent for summer time next to Chanel Allure Edition Blanche, to me is very sadly to know this flanker is discontinued (please let me know if I'm wrong), I tell you what, the newest flanker of L'Homme Idèal line is "Cool" this have a very interesting Mint nuance with the classic bitter almond, if you have the opportunity I'll very appreciate if you make a review. Smells great,but lasts only 30 minutes. With poor projection.wished it lasted and projected. Don't know how your getting 6 hrs.its like old Navy sea salt and fig.

I wouldn't say it's metrosexual. Maybe Individuel or some unisex kind of vibe scent could be pointed as that. But Ideal Cologne it's a soft inoffensive masculine fragrance. I think it isn't for women.
I have a hard time standing behind creamy "summer" fragrances. To me that's like wearing Eros in the summer because it has that sparkling lemon/lime and mint... and disregarding the totally inappropriate creamy tonka base.
