Here is my comment on your tanker trailer. Tanker trailers come in Links of 53 feet and 48 ft and 36 ft for doubles or triples. As far as your trailer goes it looks like it's the right length and nearly the right size diameter as they come in all sorts of different diameters for tanker trailer. What is making yours look visually off is the fact that you are trailer tires are a bit far forward. In real life the assembly the rear tires are hooked to can slide forward or backward to adjust the weight that is distributed across the tires. Your trailer looks fine it just looks like the tires are slid into the forward position which is what you would need to back into the water just my opinion

Couple of truck ideas... 1.) For the trailer lock, directly under the hitch location place a low level sensor that just reaches far enough to detect a trailer hitch. Connect it to an AND block, Connect that to the piston that locks the trailer in place. Add a switch connected to the seat and the AND block. Turn on the switch, and back up to the trailer. When the trailer is in place it will automatically lock. Turn off the switch to unlock the trailer and drive away. 2.) For the trailer stands, place a 1-block sensor directly behind the hitch. When the hitch lock closes it will detect the block and raise the trailer stands. When the truck releases the trailer (or you move it with the build stand) the stands will lower automatically. With those two changes, you can hook up to a trailer and immediately drive away without ever leaving the drivers seat. You can also unhook and drive away... so when you build a truck yard for all your trailers, you could rearrange all the trailers as much as you want while never leaving the seat. (though using the build stand is still faster and easier.)
Flexible Vacuum Tube would be real cool, so you could build a Vacuum Pump mechanism to deploy into the Water/Chemicals but have a ton of Chests linked together deeper in the trailer for storage (would also cut down the weight strain on the mechanism because chests are heavy)
Kan, I think you saw (maybe not) the video when Scrap man made an indestructible box from Warehouse keys. You could make a Warehouse keys tank and see if it can resist bosses and red tapebots as well
You could try building a bridge like thing going into the chemical pond a block or so over its surface. You would then back the truck onto it, align it with the edge and get to harvesting
well I would agree but the storage vs fill time would be in a bad ratio but it would be similar to what water tankers do when they fill up from a lake or river (well they back up into the liquid)
These videos are so fun to watch! I get so many ideas from these videos. If i feel down i watch your videos to distract my self from it. Thanks for the content kan! ❤️

Kan: *is a very smart person and can build ingenious creations. Also Kan: *obviously needs a dock for the leveling issue i don't see a way around the sliding issue
Make landing legs that hold the trailer up while pumping out of the chemical pond, just use a piston and a tire on its side or other high friction items. Like the legs on cranes or firetrucks
Truck came out great. It is really huge for what you actually need. Maybe do a truck the size of a UPS truck. They really need to fix the friction of wheels. Especially lateral motion when stopped. It's just way too slick for a physics game. For base improvement, add more chests on the source side for the craft bot.
I think the retracted pumps caught because you slowed them down. You could probably put them and the rear hatch all on the same 1 switch and sequencer. You'd just have to add a third piston for the raising and lowering of the pump assembly and time the opening and closing of the hatch. Heck, if you plan on making trips in the future, you could make a level platform for parking the tanker truck on like the others are saying, and just hook the pump mechanism to activate with a sensor aimed at a spot on the ground looking for a color. You back in, it auto extends and pumps, you drive forward just far enough to stop tripping the sensor, wait for the pumps to get put away, then drive off again.
8~12 cacti can greatly reduce the sliding of the vehicle (depending on the weight of the vehicle). Use the pistons to support 2 of the four wheel positions to the extent that the wheels do not bear the weight (slightly floating). KAN can try
Build a platform to drive onto over the chemical lake to stop sliding of your truck. Curler would also look better if you put explosive/warning signs on the sides and back of it.
Hey kan, I love the videos , been watching the whole survival series since the first video. I’ve noticed on all your trailers you have a stoop on all your trailers , how about building a regular semi trailer. Just so it’s a traditional semi truck and a semi trailer. This trailer looks visual appealing
kAN, Maybe try building a platform at the edge of the chemical pond. That'll dismiss the problem of you needing wheel chucks, and with a lip at the end you won't need to worry about backing your trailer off of it. And since you lowered the length of the pistons that lower the pumps, you can increase their length if needed. :)
As for the truck sliding into the pond. Build a permanent stall to back into that is u shaped that just barely fits under the lowest part of the trailer, that way you can back into it and it will hold the truck steady as you pump
I did something similar mainly for water. My solution to the sliding was that I put kinda two Us that I would back my wheels into. (But mine was just a pump on a container on the back of my truck. I used it for watering, pump in, reverse the pump and water the plants lol)
To solve your wheel chock issue I see two ways, you could build a short u shaped wall right on the edge of the pond before backing the truck up and just lty it settle against the wall, or you could build a short bridge out over the pond and leave it there perminantly, giving you a horozontal surface to back onto
Paint the green eyes from your logo on the side of the tanker. =b Good job, fun build! I went with a stationary chemical station that I just roll up to with my regular scout vehicle and collect from.
i have an idea kan, you should put the trailer park on top of the garage, you can build a ramp if you want but i think just welding them on top would be good
Move your trailer buttons to the front of the truck and you can just back the trailer into the pond a bit. You could also make the trailer multi-purpose and cut down on the length by making it a tender trailer. Look up "Tender Tank Trailer" in google images for the idea.
If you're looking for base improvements, get yourself another Craftbot or two, fully upgrade them, and set each of them to a specific task. Scrap Metal to T1 Metal, Scrap Wood to T1 Wood Concrete with a dedicated water tank, chem tank, and a chest for depositing the scrap stone. Yes, water could flood the system. But you could wire timer-logic to have it shut off after filling the water tank. Just got to get the interval down, for it's rate of intake, vs rate of use. Balance that, and you could have it pumping out concrete for days without futzing with it much.
You should put a permanent material platform by the pond for the trailer so it doesn't slide and perhaps put a chest in your garage with a hole in the wall so a pipe can pass through and you don't have to go round back to get water it is just automatically organised in a single or multiple chests
Of you're always going to use that chemical pond, you could just leave a docking station built there to back the trailer into, then no wheel chocks necessary.
Little late kan, but maybe you could build a dock at the chemical plant. So that you don't have to deal too much with the wheel chock issues. Also, the terminology for those legs that hold up the trailer is called the landing gear.
Kan could have carved out the corners on the inside without affecting the outside look. That way the pumps could have been one block lower and it didn't need to be as high.
You could build a dock on the chemical pond with a small wall at the end to stop the vehicle from sliding rather than having to build spurs out of the ground to brace it
Suggestion: Use Concrete 2 for an impervious wall. Its cheap to mass produce and Tote/Haybots wont even try to attack anything at or over durability 6 (concrete 2, metal 2, wood 3). You only need one strip about 3 blocks off the ground on the outside of the wall, then all you need to worry about is big reds. I use a puny concrete 2 fence and afk farm without any defenses, they just stand outside then run away in the morning, or use it to funnel them into an auto-crusher for the loot
Some ideas: Tree harvesting truck (I know many others have made one, but I think you analyze things differently than them and itd be neat to see what you make.) Big bot killer car (dont use spud guns. Instead fling them in the air and they die from fall damage.) Small bot killer vehicle using crushers. Some way to harvest glue clams and oil efficiently. Burned tree harvesting vehicle. Build up your base some more.
If you used blocks to tie the pumps together you should, theoretically, be able to remove the chests and attach them to the craft bot input with the stone and water and not have to manually move them back and forth. I would suggest a loading dock at the chemical plant but looking at suggestions there are half a dozen already suggesting that as well. Another choice would be to build a concrete processing station where you just add chests of stone to a system that already pumps water and chemical if you have a water pond close enough to the chemical pond. If you could figure out a way to get the pumps to turn off after a certain limit was achieved.
Make a dock at the pond, back your trailer up then drop the pumps farther down, the dock will be level so you won’t need wheel chalks
Although you could have a little three-blocks-high wall around the edge
you cold also just have a lil u shaped wall that he backs into on the edge of the pond
but the problem is he needs to put supports under the dock and while he is doing that he will also get damage from the pond because of acids

Build a ramp at the chem plant/pond. Should stop the sliding. You still have plenty left in the pistons to compensate the extra height.
If you want a more rounded trailer I would use the large silo like parts on top of some of the warehouses.
For the tanker we need to be able to pour stuff out of the tank that it comes in and get hoses to put it into storage like fuel chemicals and water

Put a high-friction block on the supports like cacti or wheels
To solve your wheel chock issue I see two ways, you could build a short u shaped wall right on the edge of the pond before backing the truck up and just lty it settle against the wall, or you could build a short bridge out over the pond and leave it there perminantly, giving you a horozontal surface to back onto
Paint the green eyes from your logo on the side of the tanker. =b Good job, fun build! I went with a stationary chemical station that I just roll up to with my regular scout vehicle and collect from.
Build a dock at the chemical pond to park the trailer on level ground to pump from. No more need for the wheel chocks
With the bridge idea, make the trailer's belly open up in the middle and just have the pumps go straight down into a hole in the bridge.
A dock type thing would work nice on the chem pond!
i have an idea kan, you should put the trailer park on top of the garage, you can build a ramp if you want but i think just welding them on top would be good
Move your trailer buttons to the front of the truck and you can just back the trailer into the pond a bit. You could also make the trailer multi-purpose and cut down on the length by making it a tender trailer. Look up "Tender Tank Trailer" in google images for the idea.
If you're looking for base improvements, get yourself another Craftbot or two, fully upgrade them, and set each of them to a specific task.
Scrap Metal to T1 Metal, Scrap Wood to T1 Wood
Concrete with a dedicated water tank, chem tank, and a chest for depositing the scrap stone.
Epic.
Then it would in weld and fall apart but if he had a rib further up it wouldnt
You could build a dock on the chemical pond with a small wall at the end to stop the vehicle from sliding rather than having to build spurs out of the ground to brace it
Need to build a platform to reverse onto. 1/2 the trailer length should do, with stops built in on the end.
Some ideas:
Tree harvesting truck (I know many others have made one, but I think you analyze things differently than them and itd be neat to see what you make.)
Big bot killer car (dont use spud guns. Instead fling them in the air and they die from fall damage.)
Small bot killer vehicle using crushers.
The trailer is ok I like it
