- This is a Mr. Freeze tribute...and there's nothing much else to say about it. I hope you enjoy watching.
I just thought I should do an amv about another villain besides Joker. Of course there's Batman in here...and some others.
I remember watching this video all the time when i was younger. It was the video that introduced me to "I am blue" song,which I considered my favourite song for years.I must have watched it maybe when it came out but it could have also been around '08 or '09.I was a child back then.Throughout the years sometimes I remember it and go back to this video.Its amazing that it's still here.Back in the late 2000s i was obsessed with Mr.Freeze and Venom from Spiderman,buying comics and all...good ol'times.

Mr. Freeze is one of my all time fav Batman villians. When I first say him in his new design in the episode it first showed him on The Batman..my jaw dropped in amazement.

This was a cool version of Mr. Freeze. Yeah, they messsed up his origin by making him a simple thief, but I thought his design was cool. The suit looked awesome, and instead of a Freeze gun, he actually HAS superpowers. If they'd combined this "The Batman" design of Freeze with his tragic origin from "Batman: The Animated Series", this would've been the coolest Mr. Freeze ever.

This is how Freeze should have looked in Batman and Robin. Alot of people seem to hate this show in comparison to the 90's one and I can get that, but I'd say he and Manbat came out better looking as a result, but the old ones are good too and a bit more sympathetic. It's interesting that this tries to be different and make him completely cold-hearted and awesome. I don't always want to see the same thing. It knows it can't be TAS and it's just trying to have it's own version.

Interesting thing is that Mr.Freeze had a noble cause and was a good guy once, he just lost sight of his purpose and succumbed to darkness

I hear you man, This was a cool looking Mr. Freeze. But the Fact that his beautiful and tragic Origin was scraped off for what he got in the show is just mind boggling to me.
Why not? I agree. They haven't done the character much justice in this series, and maybe another segment going deeper in his origin is what the character needs.

Mr. Freeze is much better as the 'tragic villain' as portrayed in Batman: the Animated Series, and Batman Beyond.
As stupid as his outfit looked, he had -depth-. And you felt bad for him, even though he was a supervillain. Best DC villain imo. I hope he is brought back in a future (good) batman movie.

lol...yeah. Alfred made Batman a "Freeze-proof" outfit when Batman was overcome by Mr. Freeze's...uh, coldness. Basically, the outfit protects Batman from the extreme cold temperatures.

this is actually the best version of Mr. Freeze imo as i loved the fact that all the only features of his face are his outline and his red eyes ^^
Damn that's the only other character I'm waiting for it just can't be a batman series without Dent and Two-Face.

@xDaddyPuddingx yes and no, for the oddest reason he no longer was a cryogenics professor and wasnt trying to develop a cure, instead he was some random hood who stole diamonds in order to fund research to cure her. Batman tried to stop him of course but that ended very badly with freeze being electrocuted at the same time he was getting frozen by a cryogenic pod he tried to hide in with the diamonds. Nora of course ended up dying long before he awoke as Mr. Freeze

The new Freeze looks much cooler XD
They cold have made him so much better in 'Batman and Robin', they made him all punny and stuff, along with the fact that his personality has no effect from his backstory. I mean that as: His wife died/dying, and he is mutated. Instead of sad and cold hearted, they made him the opposite.

I think the Batman blew TAS' out of the water visually. Story wise it never came close.
@H1W25K1998, Mr freeze from the 90s cartoon was prolly the most tragic and deep villian they had. Now, like most of the characters from this batman, he is just a thief with powers. I like how they made him like too cold to exist without the suit, but other than his design he has no plot or real thought. but as i said, most of the villians from this series are just thieves so i dont hold it against them

The character design is a nice change for Mr. Freeze, considering his other reincarnations, but I do have to say without Nora, it takes away a lot of who he was, and that should never happen to a villain. He needs a means to justify himself, one of the few Batman villains who don't do things for their own benefit, or was.

Theres just 1 thing i dont like about this mr freeze: Instead of making him sad and cold, they made him a diamond thief >.
I do not think Nolan would do Mr. Freeze given the universe he has created. The villains are grounded in a physical reality that limits that can and can not be done. Mr. Freeze falls outside the realm of Nolan's Reality.
this show is a guilty pleasure for me I'll admit, as much as I love the 90's animated batman cartoon, this version gives batman a truck load of gadgets to play with and most of them are kinda neat, but the art is a bit off. the suits ears are way too small and the eyes are a tad too big. with that said, this show's a 20 minute toy advertisement. mr. freeze>joker imo, I always saw him as a more threatening villain. his design in this show kicks ass too.
I will admit though that there are some characters like Joker, Harley, Bane, and Ivy that don't work as much for me though. Not that their bad, their just not as amazing as TAS ones. But I guess they were trying to show their more wild sides and of course since we don't have people like Hamill and Sorkin it's hard to beat. It does an okay job though and I like it. I felt the show didn't HAVE to have Robin and Batgirl as I wanted to see how Batman works alone and Robin's in Titans, but it's fine.
He reminds me so much of my arch-enemy, Freezedown.

Sadly I found this Mr. Freeze version as a disappointment, the whole point of freeze was that he was the definition of a tragedy, he was a tragic villain that as Victor Fries he is horribly mutated in accident in a sad but unfortunate attempt to cure his ailing wife Nora Fries due to greedy businessmen. By taking away his back story and cold heartless demeanor gained from his accident, all we get is a guy who uses cold powers with no real motivation or drive to commit the crimes in the first place. Also we lose that sense of what do you do if the villain wasn't really the villain but the victim of the crime? anyone else agree ?
The Batman's version is based on the Mr. Freeze from before BTAS. The BTAS version introduced his tragic back story, before that he was pretty much like he is in The Batman but MUCH more gimmicky. I'm not saying this version is better, it is a return to a previous version who is motivated by his belief (true or not) of being wronged by Bats.

@H1W25K1998 Agreed. In terms of eliminating his original, extremely compelling origin, this Mr. Freeze is almost as much of a joke as Arnold's was in that abortion of a movie "Batman and Robin."

nope, sorry. Harvey Dent isn't in The Batman series so far (from what I've heard, I don't think he's going to be in the series at all). Let's just hope the rumors aren't true.

@balrog13571 They could do Clay Face since he originally started out as merely a serial killer, Killer Croc wouldn't be to hard, just give him that really bad skin condition that makes your skin all rough and scaly(I can't remember what it's called). The one I'd love to see but probably won't in the new BATMAN franchise is Mr. Freeze.

this mr freeze looks awesome but his story is all fucked up... he never robbed banks or did diamond heists. and he certainly never had it as a motive after he became mr freeze. he was always driven by pure vengeance.

@SuperSbeastify The reason you nay be having trouble is this show was titled "The Batman" not Batman The Animated Series. That show was a compleatly different Batman.

Wait you mean like in a sequel to The Dark Knight? I don't think they'd have those two in it. I mean it's not that they aren't cool, but I think the new Batman age is trying to give a more modern/realistic feel to the movies. Joker can be done and Ras Al Ghul and Scarecrow, but I don't know if you could really make Killer Croc and Clay Face work in the new age. At least Croc's in this show.

Yeah but Spiderman was always a bit more silly. Batman was silly in the 50's and 60's, but it became more serious. As I siad as well they are trying to make their own vision of Batman today and I don't think the super-powered characters will be showing up. Besides Spiderman 3 wasn't really as good as it could have been (I don't blame Raimi as much as the studio for that) and is a completely different character and story. What may work for one series wouldn't work for others.
