Great video Louise ☺️ can you talk about the mental aspect of this kind of travel: what is most difficult, are you guys homesick, do you miss the comfort of being at home, is it mentally hard to sleep in a different place every night? Stuff like that, I’m very curious! Sending you both hugs ☺️
I’m so glad I found your guys channel. I hope you guys stay safe and keep trying to be as financially responsible and health conscience as you both can be. Keep making videos and sharing your story as much as possible maybe show your viewers some of the amazing places you guys visit, anything scenic, and share your delicious foods whether healthy or not lol 😂. I’m sure your channel will steadily grow in time with patience.
It's wonderful to watch your journey. I left my apartment in the UK 2.5 years ago and have been travelling (also with free accommodation) ever since. It's amazing how far we can get on the kindness and trust of strangers. It's been an adventure of a lifetime. Good luck with all of your adventures to come, I'm sure you'll make so many amazing memories and experience so many new things this beautiful life has to offer.
Hi!! Oh my 2,5 years ago! Impressive! Where did you go? Where are you now? 😃 I totally agree with you, it’s crazy how far we can go with the kindness of others.
@@minimalou_yt I can barely believe it myself... I had no idea how long I'd be nomadic for but I love it so much and have learned so much about the best ways to do it I don't want to stop at this point. I prefer to slow travel so probably not as many places as you'd imagine but a few really great adventures across America, South America and Europe so far. I have had some health issues and family losses this year so I've been pretty stationary in the UK and am in London right now for the foreseeable. Forever grateful to be able to live rent-free even in my home country though! What a relief when I need a break from extensive travel and to rest and recoup (and access medical aid). I can't wait to see where you and up next! Would love to swap experiences and tips if you're open to it :)
My husband and I are light packers (me more than him so he takes up more room 😅) and we share one carry on luggage when we travel so we don’t have to pay for checked bags! We share a handful of things like shampoo, face wash, toothpaste, hats, shirts etc so we save room that way too. He is a much bigger guy and I’m a very petite woman so we unfortunately can’t share all our clothes 😂 but that is one way we save money when we travel! We’re not big souvenir people either. Our family pays for restaurants when we eat out, we also stay with family so it’s free!
Bonjour Louise!! Thank you very much for update and interesting video! I hope you didn't get cold there...Good luck for both you! Will be waiting for your other videos, have a great new week ahead!
Do you have room for a tiny backpacking stove? Or a mini boiling kettle? I have made very simple meals in hotels without kitchens with these items. Also, it's nice to just have a hot cup of tea or instant coffee on the go as a cheap comfort while being wise with my budget. I know your bags are small with the essentials, but maybe make room for some little luxuries that will save you money. Great video and continued happy travels!
Hello! A mini boiling kettle is a great idea indeed!! Unfortunately, our bags are completely full for now so we managed that by going to hostel that have kitchens ☺️ Thank you 🦋
Hi Louise! I agree with you about not eating out. Not only it saves a lot of money but it's unually better for your health. I also tend to rent places with kitchens. I remember once I was for a week in St. Petersburg. It's a big city and eating in touristic places is not cheap. I usually brought my lunch with me either prepared at home or bought something in a supermarket. That way I was able to have a picnic wherever I wanted to and not just eat fastfood they ofered in those places. All in all I was shocked how little I spent on food during that trip. Good luck to you and Axel! Safe travels!
really great video, an inspiring one. I like very much the idea of outdoor sandwiches with ingredients from the supermarket. I will try it as an office escape in the middle of the work day :). My admirations that after the whole hard physical work, you find the strength to workout. That's amazing. Thank you, Louise! :) The water sounds from behind are very therapeutical to listen to, beautiful filming spot:) 🌊🎶
Great video and thanks for sharing. Continue to be safe while traveling the world. So 10,0000 euros or $1,000 each for you and your boyfriend? Would I Need more to travel (backpack) I'm in the U.S. I'm in the United States. I was wondering if only I bring $1,000 for backpacking. I think I night have to stay in a hotel or motel. That's where my money will go to. spending on a place to sleep at night.
@ she said 10.000 euros each which is what you asked. As someone from europe, 1k is not nearly enough to travel fulltime for 2 years. You can even turn subtitles on and it’s right there so idk why you’re trying to argue 😂

Haha we are the same regarding food while travelling! 😄 thank you really much 💛🌞
I’d love to hear an update on your world packers experience when you’re done traveling! Thanks for sharing ☺️
Yes absolutely, will do 😌
A jump rope is perfect for traveling since it takes up little space in a backpack. I hope you & Axel have a great week! 🧡
Thank you 🙏 Wishing you a great week as well 💙
Thank you for sharing and updating us!
I think the item you're referring to is a 'skipping rope'.
Yes jump rope too!! Thank you for watching ☺️

I’m glad you liked it! Thank you so much for your kind comment 💕
Morning from Hawaii that was a good tip on saving money while traveling
Thanks Rueben!!
A place to stay without the possibility of preparing a meal can be frustrating. When I can, I also choose the option with access to the kitchen🙌
Merci pour le partage Louise
Un petit coucou de Lyon 👋
Avec plaisir 😊
Thanks for the update!❤
Thanks for watching 🫶🏼
Hello Louise! Great tip on the hostel website - thank you!! Will you be making your way to NZ?? 🌸
Hello!! Yes we will try to come to NZ! 😄

Euros obviously, there’s no need for dollars in europe. 10.000 euros so thats about 10.000 dollars as well
@@douloureux. ...Don't be smart...I heard her say 1000. No need for you to comment, move on. I'm not going to go back and fourth with you.
