      How would a dark matter star differ from a black hole?
      The strength of the gravity it has I guess, but then a dark matter black hole? 👀. The universe is so amazing no miracles needed

    • @FirestormDDash
      @FirestormDDash ปีที่แล้ว +24

      @@jamieclarke2694the oddity of dark matter is normal matter cant interact with it besides gravity.
      So a black hole would be a black hole regardless. But a star...
      You wouldnt even know your in it.
      Now, I cant recall if dark matter works the same on the small as it does large scales. So either you would just see random things (or fellow ships) crushed and shoved together at a point in clear space (being the stars core) or you would just pass through it with little disturbance (if it doesnt effect gravity on small scale objects as harshly).

    • @ClaytonBigsby01
      @ClaytonBigsby01 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well I guess it's a good thing that dark matter can't form Stars . I'm not an astronomer or anything of the sort but common Sense would tell you that you can't clump together a bunch of nothing and create a sustained thermonuclear explosion😂. Actually the more I think about it the dumber this idea sounds because if 95% of all matter is actually dark matter would it not be clumped together everywhere? If not what makes it clumped together in some places. Either way it's not creating a star😂 it may create a big clump of dark matter but that's not star

      Idk my theory is that dark matter is like regular matter in the past or future so the curvature of space would still affect us in the present even tho it is a different point in time which makes sense in this dark matter Star scenario but I don’t know if it holds up in the sense that gravity also curves time so wouldn’t it technically have to be in the present because time curves around it even if it travels slower or faster throughout. I am not the best at it I don’t know entirely it’s just a neat thought I had about this that answers a few questions I had but then creates some doubt in me also

      @iamafraidofwomen yeah the reason why I dont think that disproves my thing is that I dont actually think there are a bunch of timelines or whatever out there or like also I dont think we can go back in time cuz like the quantum uncertainty stuff where it has a wave function collapse I dont think can go backwards and then forwards again or else theres not a point to it because then it really is just a 100 percent guarantee that the quantum state will be one way. but obviously many worlds theory says that each possibility actually splits the entire wave function of the entire universe so we would be 100 percent in our little slice of that just it would also not make sense because we would never have reasoned that there is uncertainty in quantum theory if all we possibly could observe is 1 possibility

      So does every scientist
      No one knows more. We don’t know if it even exists. It’s an idea made up to explain the short comings in out mathematical model of the universe. But the universe does not operate on mathematical models, so anything we come up with is going to have some degree of inaccuracy. It’s just that our astrophysics stuff is extremely inaccurate in many different ways, so we make up these concepts to force the equations to make sense.
      It’s very possible that dark anything doesn’t actually exist, and we have yet to find a more accurate mathematical model of the universe. People have definitely tried, just haven’t had any success yet.

      @@MyNameIsSaloThat’s just not true, we have observed it in the sense we can see it’s affect on the universe, we just aren’t sure what it is exactly, but to say this is repeating the myth that Dark Matter “only exists in the math”.

      No we can see the effect of dark matter in the universe, we’re just not exactly sure what it is. It’s not physical matter in that sense because it’s not just in the voids, actually it varies, some galaxies have a lot and some don’t have much at all and we can’t seem to figure out why yet, but it’s a confirmed thing.

      @@firstlast-wg2on Billions of stars worth of matter, spread over billions of lightyears of space. That is more than enough matter to affect things in and around it, yet if it's all spread out such that most is just individual atoms, or tiny clusters of molecules no bigger than a speck of dust, it would be effectively impossible to detect with our current tech. And, some galaxies would have more, just as some have more stars. My theory is not disproven.
