    I am English...born and bred...but I must say when I think of the terrible,sinful, and totally inexcusable things that we have done, I feel ashamed.

      Elizabeth Reign Castillo the fact that you are English makes no difference. It was the government of England and its colonizing ways the Irish had problems with. Not it’s people per se so you have nothing to be ashamed about. PH Pearse your name is on my bedroom wall at the foot of that beautiful Proclamation so your name is forever immortal and that document will live forever in its words and its aspirations to all Irish people.

    This is fascinating. So well done. There were Indian patriots put on trial like this. I wish Indians could make something like this without making all characters one dimensional.

    this trial never even took place. they were givin a military court martial. and shot.

      Yes Francis, this is a fictionalised account - a historical 'what if'.
