Some millions of years ago, the impact caused the Cumberland Gap. (If you've never heard of that, it was where U.S. explorer Daniel Boone first went west to settle Kentucky. The name comes from the Iroquois word "ken-tah-ten," which means "land of tomorrow.") I'm not saying anything other than it is possible the writer/s had heard of this place and used it as inspiration for their show's setting. It could also be 100% a coincidence.

I watched a lot of foreign shows in English Dub on Netflix, it's not that hard to select that option, I did it with that gay show Young Royals and Squid Game, and a bunch of other shows. The main character in this series reminds me of the main character in TH-cam series IMPULSE. They were both messy, self absorbed and don't mind screwing people over.

Her reaction to getting fired from her meteor job was so poor acted and poorly scripted and altogether unbelievable. I tried to watch a little more after that but the rest of the show is so slow, I feel like it will just drag on. Also the fact that a meteor is made out of glass isn’t too far out there. Like maybe there was something on it that burned up upon entry and then that turned into a molten mass, which then cooled down and became a brittle glass? I mean it’s from outer space.. anything goes! Smh

Netflix your welcome for this idea; if your not gonna do the movie based on the false accusation made by the author lady(actually dont remember her name), you could do a series based on the mindset and lifestyle of Anthony broadwater going through prison for 16yrs though innocent. Send some writers over to hear his story. Pull every emotion he's harboured out and display every obstacles he faced in and out of prison for it and im sure it would be a hit.

Spoiler: Show was terrible! That ending was pretty pathetic. I’m all for nudity when it fits the theme of the scene. Girls having sex, sure. There were several scenes that were just fine. But as soon as I saw her pouring out medication into the tub and the camera is focused on the emotional experience of her eyes but somehow lazily slips some nipple in the bottom of the screen i new these were film makers that didn’t take their craft seriously. Most likely a bunch of inexperienced artist working with a fancy camera for the first time. Hopefully, they learn the nuances of cinematography design.

As an American, I would just say: Not everything has to center around America, good stuff can also happen outside of the US. This series is from Denmark, it's not really well known and maybe this is one of the reasons why the series is made. It's a good idea to spread the language and culture to the world using the biggest platform like Netflix, before it might become completely forgotten.

Netflix u got a great team with writers, directors, cinematographers, set designers & all in the Lost in Space Team, please give them another sci-fi show centered around space or something else, just not kids but a lil teen-adult version this time and I am sure we won't be disappointed with what they come up with.

@@derzuschauer7904 yeah, i initially switched the English dub on twice, but it was American. It just sounded completely wrong for a story set in Denmark! I watched it with subtitles in the end, and if was much better.

As an American, I would just say: Not everything has to center around America, good stuff can also happen outside of the US. This series is from Denmark, it's not really well known and maybe this is one of the reasons why the series is made. It's a good idea to spread the language and culture to the world using the biggest platform like Netflix, before it might become completely forgotten.
