Simple and beautiful! This painting would be perfect to practice with my fountain pen (fude nib). Can’t wait to go through more of your videos (old and new)!
What a brilliant subject you've planned and achieved Lois, enjoyable video as you have achieved amazing result whilst explaining calmingly how to maintain inspirational painting. Thanks greatly appreciated stay safe and healthy
@@LoisDavidsonArt wow what a response I got from my tutor and the rest of the class. It was my first go at pen and wash and the outcome was better than I anticipated. I have mentioned your name to most of the class and I am sure they will be hooked on your style and the way you conduct your tutorials. Keep producing your tutorials as they inspire me to keep up the passion for watercolour painting. Thank you so much.
GAM, this is gorgeous Lois! I love line and wash and keep wanting to do more with it. You’re inspiring me to do just that and I thank you. Blessings to you!
A clever hand make all thing look simple?easy. The sketch is beyond my current level. But I can simplify it, and go from there. Some of your more abstract work has pulled me in to the point of trying my self. I have one little issue, little is the key word, all the paper I have is slightly bigger than a postcard. Very restricting when there's a need to really express yourself. I've tried a few times on smaller paper, and it's looking quite nice, but I still feel as though everything is cooped up inside. Bigger sheets are written in ink on my letter to santa this year... Wonderful demo. Looking forward to trying this tomorrow. TTFN.
Very educative. What type of pen was used for the line drawing. Was that any special water colour pen, or normal Luxor or Softliner drawing pen can be used. Will appreciate your guidance.
Beautiful,a great example of less is more.

Спасибо большое вам, очень красиво! 🙏🌺🌺🌺
Thanks so much 💕
I don't have Paynes grey or burnt Sienna . I can make the grey but what about the Sienna. What colors would come close to making this?

Will appreciate your guidance.
Thank you Lois, this is my first time watching you, and I am so inspired! Where can I find the link to your reference photo?
Thanks, it’s in the description below the video, click on the small arrow to the right on your phone to see info and links
Lois, what brand of pencil are you using to sketch the outline? Love this video.
Its a Koh I Noor versatil 5.6mm clutch pencil
Hello Lois, can you give me the mark of your pens because i think the ink does not dilute with water. Thank you for your reply. Bruno in France
Hi Bruno, they are Faber Castell Pit Artists Pen fineliners, and a Sharpie
