Having seen this episode when it first aired, and having the DVDs, it always struck me as odd that there is a rather hefty weapons locker in engineering, just kinda right there.
@johnathan651 I agree, to a point. While having personal defense weapons handy in all vital areas of a ship should go without saying, having their version of "grenades" stored in close proximity to an anti-matter reactor is questionable.
@@kevinmcfalls945 Do you have a better idea? Where else would they store them besides the one place where if they were to go off accidentally it would destroy the entire ship? Remember this is Voyager we're talking about here. Of course they're going to put them next to the Warp Core.

Not really. After the Bridge, Engineering is the most important area.
