When i saw Line rider with Rush E. I expected physics destroying shenanigans. And within the first few seconds the first cracks where shown. It truly is just as insane as the song itself. Kudos to all participants.
Can we all just take a moment to imagine what this would be like from that guy’s perspective? Also, I saw that in that part near the end when he was travelling at Mach 25, when he was flying without his sled, you can see for a moment that one of his arms has come off.
From the length of each rush E on 2:18 and the size of the rider I got an estimation of 2900km/h, or 1800mph. That’s like going from the west coast to the east coast of the us in little more than 90 minutes, or going around the world in less than 14 hours
@Dogma Resistance Yes, quite vaguely as I rounded up all of the lengths (aver. size of the person to 1.5m and how big the space between each rush E on 2:18 is, which was 9 times the person approx.) and I took the time from frame to frame as 1/60th of a second (60fps, if animation is on 30fps it halves the speed). But yes I did the math and it’s quite fast.
I was thinking that the g forces involved in this would probably be lethal but this confirms it. RIP line rider guy, you died in service of a good meme
The problem isn’t the speed at which it goes, but how fast it gets to that speed, which is almost instantly so the rider died right at launch, o7 for the rider
Then I guess the Faerie's Aire and Death Waltz is true chaos? It has words on the sheet music that say (and I'm not making this sh!t up): - insert peanuts - go fast - oil bow here - light explosives now.......and......now - duck - play ball! - slap thigh - like a dirigible - release the penguins - rests are imaginary - mute in - mute out - mute in - sell mute - remove valve - if there are no violas, go to N - add bicycle and way more than I care to add here.

The fact you were able to sync the impossible part with an *ANIMATION* is more than just a work of art, and is not just impressive, or even mind-blowing. It is literally god-tier.
It’s called a “quirk”. Basically, there’s a feature that makes it a little easier to create tracks, where if the sled comes up under a track piece within a certain distance, he will just snap to it. That way you don’t have to be terribly precise. Turns out, though, that you can line up track pieces one after the other so that this snapping motion doesn’t just happen within a single frame, but multiple consecutive ones. Hence, when the game calculates velocity of the sled by comparing its current position to its position on the previous frame, it becomes abnormally large. Hence the yeeting.
2:03 my favorite part of this is the fact that while the flipbook is happening in the background, the rider is perfectly still, with no rotation, gives off "I have transcended" vibes XD
Ok but real quick, I can only imagine the amount of time it took to do every single part of this, and the animation thing must have taken forever too! Regardless, THIS WAS INSANE
