@karnesmotorsports thank you for the posts! We don't have a garden tractor club anywhere in this massive California valley. I know of a sled I verbally owned for about 1hr. Came back with the trailer and owner backed out, since died of overdose and family estate is seized. May build my own sled owning my own fab shop but steel is thru the roof.
You could load the tires but the extra rotational mass takes away HP. Same with wheel weights. Probably wouldn’t hurt in the class I’m pulling in but nobody else does it.
I'd say that's a solid hook for sure. Especially being a first.
It was enough to get me hooked! We went from 2 to 7 in a hurry… maybe I’ll have all 7 together at the same time at some point… thanks for watching!

@@karnesmotorsports I have about 10-dozen in the barn that would make great builds.
cool build right on boys
Cool vids!!!
Looks like fun
That's cool that you all have something to enjoy together, that ballast box is a good trick. Can you do sand or liquid-filled wheels ?

Just bought a 308-8 for pulling
It’s addicting! I’m in the process of swapping a 20hp flat twin into my cub/Deere 210. So much fun.
@@karnesmotorsports well see what happens
Motor building skills, ok. Snapping.... needs work. lol
I know right! Who would’ve thought I can’t snap? Lol
