    Good looking puller. Many might not know. Those Cubs built back in the day. Their drive train were just about as tough as a half ton p/u truck. They were nicely overbuilt. 👌

      Thanks! Yea they were definitely over built! The center section is the same thing used in a Farmall Cub tractor. Thanks for watching!

    any rear engine, rear driven lawn mower pull?

      I believe there’s an allowance for them in our rules. Most everyone uses gear drive cubs or wheel horses.

    Where did you get those suit case weights at. I’m starting on a 122 and this video is going to really help me out..

      My buddy made them. He has a CNC plasma cutter. They’re 1/2” plate and weigh 7lbs each. I can put you in touch with him if you would like.

    You guys dont have to run steel flywheel?

    • @karnesmotorsports
      @karnesmotorsports  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Anything over 4000rpm. Personally I believe it’s a safety issue and run them on whatever.

      This is a steel one. I believe it’s a safety issue regardless of what the rules say about external modifications.

    Are you gonna run a steel fly wheel I think Vogel sells a aluminum one we couldn’t run a factory fly wheel due to our insurance that covered our club we have had them crack and then fly apart I guess it depends on what your club rules say

    • @karnesmotorsports
      @karnesmotorsports  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have a steel flywheel coming from Lakota. That’s what’s holding this project up at the moment. We’re governed to 4K rpm in this class, so a cast flywheel “should” be safe, but I’m not chancing it. Regardless of what the rules say about having to run a stock flywheel.
