- 👋 Today lets take a full look at the 2024 Nissan Z Performance. This Nissan Z was finished in Black Diamond over a two tone red/black interior and featured the 6 speed manual transmission. For $55,000 this 2024 Nissan Z Performance was about fully loaded for the Performance trim. However currently this 2024 Nissan Z Performance has a dealer discount bringing the MSRP closer to $53,000. With the 2024 Toyota Supra going slightly higher in price and being closer to a $61,000 MSRP, the price discrepancy is making the Z look like a decent deal then last year. You will find a 3.0L Twin Turbo V6 engine packing 400 HP and 350 TQ. The Nissan Z can do 0-60 in the low 4 seconds range and tops out at 155 MPH. This was a cool spec and great color combination and overall the Nisan Z gives you a fun GT style sportscar. My biggest complaints are the seats. They feel very small and aren't too supportive. I feel too tall in this car with no leg support. The Nismo trim has Recaro bucket seats and are amazing to sit in! The Z does lack some features for it's price tag like adaptive suspension, steering, exhaust and drive modes. And since it's weighs 3,500 pounds it does feel a bit heavy in the turns. It's comfortable overall and very fast but you can tell it's not really a super tight agile sports car. So if you want a nice basic sports car for cruising and has power, the Nissan Z is a cool option. But at the same price point with no discounts, you can buy a Toyota Supra or Ford Mustang GT and get a lot more performance and refinements. So it's a tough category and price range and I'd like to see a bit more out of the Z.

I think this will be the go to platform for new car enthusiast who still wants a manual in a sea of automatic high powered sport cars.
I will wait for these units to drop their prices once the next generation Z comes out.
So far it seems the go to is the Supra since it's far superior. however with the Z falling in price a ton on the used market. This will be a great cheap option since the Supras are holding much higher resale values. I'd like a Nismo, but hopefully they tank a bit and get in the 50s
@@BrosFOURRSpeed I agree with the superiority since it co buolt with BMW but it would be nice to see some variety on out roads other than the usuals.
Here in Metro Manila I have seen the same number of Z’s and Supras on the roads. The standard BMWs care are way more evident partly due to road conditions too. They just handle better.

I just bought the exact same one in Gunmetal Gray. I had an 04 350 Nismo 6 speed for 10 years and really liked it.
This is a huge step up all around in performance, comfort, and speed.
53k wasnt fun, but i love driving it.

That is the Exact color combo I bought. I'm loving it. When the sun hits it you can Really see the metalflake in the black paint. My side windows are tinted a bit. I'm still experimenting with which dash setup to use.

Yeah I've only seen 4 out in public. They didn't do a good job producing these it seems. And most people end up buying a Supra or Mustang instead

They lost me on the new design. Will always love the older curvier design.

Does a tune affect factory warranty?
Technically. If you tune the engine and have an engine issue they won't cover it. But if your window switch goes out, thats still covered. So just depends on what you modify and if something messed up, if it relates to the mod, they won't cover that specific thing
Just checked autotrader out of curiosity to see how much these are going for (I own a 22 Supra 3.0 premium. Just checking the competition, lol)
Man...these Z's aren't holding their value at all. Plenty of 2023 performance Z's in the high 30's to low 40's

Yeah these are tanking! So becoming a good deal with discounted prices for sure! My manual Supra is still worth more then I paid, had I bought the Z, would have lost $10k

Keep in mind resale value. Used models 3s are cheap. So you’ll loose a ton of money buying a new EV. Can buy a Supra and hardly loose any
