I’m very much team Ruta, that synth sound is something not fully seen at Eurovision, I think I want a diverse a competition as possible. I think the visuals are nice but could be a little stronger which hopefully that can work on.
Beatrich’s song is LITERALLY a Hannah Montana song. Go listen to Miley Cyrus’s stuff as Hannah Montana, legit the EXACT same. I’d say Slovenia kinda has a rock song tho
omg lol, im not going to listen to Hannah Montana, im just going to take your word for it 😂 but yea thats a better reference than the Americana feel i was getting
After monika liu, absolutely nothing here will satiate me, however I would probably chose ruta with so low to win. I love the staging and her vibe Also you’re pronouncing pabandom iš naujo pretty well, just add more of a “yo” at the end of naujo
Nothing 70's about Ruta Mur- she is absolutely early-mid 80's Euro beat. I'm talking Ultravox, Communards, Alison Moyet, all in the best ways possible. Please send this, Lithuania.
I currently have Gabrielius as my number 1 on the app, I like the song and I like that it is in Lithuanian. I'd be okay if Ruta went, but I just feel like thre are *so* many songs in these NFs going for that 80's throwback...
Ruta Mur reminds me of Alison Moyet in Yaz years. I wish the backtrack was sped up a bit to make it more dancy. I love Gabrelius' voice but I liked his previous entries more. He derserves a better song to go to ESC - this won't qualify.
Glad you liked Šauksmas🖤 Gabrielius is definitely the best choice for Lithuania and would surely stand out in ESC! And yeah, the sound from the studio on the TVs is quite weak. I heard Gabrielius song live several times - it’s has so much power, that you are getting goosebumps all 3 minutes straight👌
I was listening to this review whilst driving... I had to switch off because I started dozing off. I was waiting for some standout entries but the whole bit was a bit of a snoozefest. Whomp.
I usually really enjoy your videos, but this one comes off so negative it's borderline insulting. There are ways to provide criticism without being so negative. Also, isn't it about time English speakers made some effort to learn how to pronounce European names, especially when they are in a phonetically written language like Lithuanian? It's really not that difficult!
i specifically mentioned in this video that i tried to look up pronunciation but google translate doesnt provide audio pronunciation for Lithuanian like it does for other languages like spanish and english. i also specifically apologised for pronouncing the artists names wrong
Ruta Mur and only her,no offence to other artists in the Lithuanian selection (they are mostly good) but I absolutely love everything about "So low",the song, the vibe, the mood, the staging,Ruta's amazing voice and her stage presence.
You can very clearly tell that this year a lot of the Lithuanian heavyweights stayed home. It feels like if Monika Marija, Rūta Loop, etc had even put in a mediocre song theyd have run away with this. Lithuania never has a dominant National final, but they usually have a couple gems mixed with the perennial artists. This year really feels like a bunch of nice enough filler that would be borderline, but nothing that really feels strong enough.
No way, good selection this year and the fact that names like Aiste and Gebrasy didnt reach finals tells you that they didnt stay home, they just didnt have right songs
This year is so weak compared to 2018-2022 😔 And I don’t mean just Lithuania either, I mean in general. We have 15 songs so far, but there aren’t any strong songs in Lithuania, Portugal, Moldova, Iceland or Germany and I’ve heard the leaks of Greece and Austria and they aren’t very good either. That’s already 22 of 37 songs and I only enjoy Slovenia and Spain/ Italy to a degree, but I’m not wowed by any song this year.
@@АлексейЗаботкин-т1х 2021 was most certainly not a weak year and 2020 is largely considered by the fandom to be one of the best years ever. You may disagree and that’s fine, but that’s the community consensus. So many iconic entries as opposed to this year where there really aren’t any yet.
I REALLY need Ruta Mur to win! She does 80s done right and her voice is like Alison Moyet! Good staging too!

i think slovenia comes under indie rock with the emphasis more on the indie

I know this is a very popular opinion but we need Ruta Mur's voice in ESC
Just to let you know, you pronounce 'Pabandom is Naujo' very nicely 👌 as perfect as can be. :)
thank you Brigita 🥰
Ruta Mur, this is so on point, staging, her stage presence, lights, scaters, song
It is total personality
Also this eurofan poll as usual dont show real favorites or real opinions, poll on eurovisionworld is more accurate to reality
I liked the girl at the piano. She seemed genuine.

Only Ruta does it autenthic enough so

your pronunciation is pretty much correct.
thank you Daniel
in time lapse u mixed Monika linkyte with Juste Kraujelyte
ah yes, thank you for pointing that out to me 🙏🏻
Ive changed it now

yea there really isnt anything wow in it. at least youve some music to listen to if you have insonmia 😅
I support Beatrich. The only song which can achieve something.
I feel lonely for not liking Ruta Mur 😑 For my taste it's Beatrich and Mario Junes.

Paulina stood out to me 🏆
love the one-woman stage
yea very impressive to be able to command a stage all on your own

"no strong songs in portugal" and that's where I stopped reading
I like Doomsday Dance in Iceland, and in Germany I have this feeling that both Melodies of Hope or Blood and Glitter could do quite well.
Lol what 2020-2022 were weak years general
And those countries have strong songs
