The paper flowers that pop up are awesome! I have sent these to elderly relatives and they love them, no vase or water needed and when you are done with them, fold them up and put them away! Happy hunting! Dawn
To glue or fix anything difficult like the helmet on the stocking, lock tite works great! There's a few different types, I prefer the waterproof one, works on a variety of materials. Great video as always!
Any of those generic made in USA tool sets are a must buy, this was before the Chinese started flooding the U.S. market with their tools. The ones that bring really good money are the SK tools. You can identity their metal boxes by either a crackle green or smooth finish. The crackle finish is older. I have found and bought from craiglist those sets for cheap.
Love your videos. I learn so from both of you. Always love how you pick the most interesting items I've never thought to look at. Catch you on the next one!
Went to an estate sale today-so much glassware! Some good prices but others they knew what they had. Bought a few small items and saw some pieces that I wished I knew more about to know if they were worth getting. Probably the last yard sale of the season here-possible snow & cold temps in the forecast next weekend! 🥶
I love your videos, I have to point out tho, you didn’t buy the vintage door knobs for $5 to make $15-$20 easy ship, but you’ll pay $3 to make $10 for a lamp with difficult shipping? That’s not making sense to me
@@beardedthriftmachine hey if it’s good product with good prices then sponsor it and get that little kick back. It adds up fast & only cost you a few seconds to mention it.
I’ve sold literally hundreds and hundreds of Mary Kay items with no problem. It’s not a VERO…. You just aren’t allowed to sell it there if you are/were a consultant bc they signed a binding agreement they they can’t put it online when signing on.
I’m actually well researched on this. I’ve been selling for 15 years. Full time for 7. I’ve bought out three consultants and sold hundreds and hundreds of Mary Kay products… and I’m 100% no problem… far from 50/50. Have you had any pulled recently? I think the Vero scare was from a lawsuit mary Kay lost to eBay many years ago. But I totally understand being cautious any time you aren’t sure of something. I enjoy y’all’s videos…. Just gonna disagree with ya on this.
I have a multi sac black purse. It’s lasted much much longer than my Franco Sarto so-called designer purse did. The Franco Sarto is garbage. The fake leather was peeling like crazy everywhere. I had to throw it away. My multi sac is not doing that. Never underestimate a multi sac bag.
The thing here is what bag is worth more, not in usefulness but in dollars, let's say both bags are $5 at the garage sale, if one can sell for $1000 but it falls apart in a week and the other sells for $5 and will last 100 years, if you like both and you are going to use it, obviously get.the $5 one, BUT if you only care about reselling it you buy the $1000 bag.
I absolutely do not resent you for doing what you do, but watching this and other shows where I see people making big/medium profit off others lack of knowledge, makes me not have garage sales. However when I try selling stuff that appears to be valuable online I never get any takers
then dont have garage sales and sell online like you do - just know it sometimes takes awhile to get the money you want for an item - alot of people just need or want the stuff gone - and alot of people dont want to get a 10-99 at the end of the year and file taxes - so that let it go for cheaper at a yard sale
@@beardedthriftmachine completely agree about the 10-99 and I have had a lot of issues trying to sell anything online, my only success was with some magic cards from 1998, that were unopened, I got $1800 for a box I paid $100 for but I bought them in 1998. I tried making a deal with a neighbor kid that just graduated highschool, that I would give him stuff to sell online, he takes care of shipping and everything then whatever is left after all the expenses we split 50/50. I gave him several items vintage shirts, collectable toys, etc. He hasn't done anything that I am aware of, I don't think he wants to do anything where you make $20 for the sale, he just kept asking me about things like my comic book collection. Speaking about comic books. Comic books seem like a bit of a scam, you can't get much for them unless they are graded, but the 2.grading companies cost so much that if you get them graded most of the profit is gone. It the book is really rare/expensive they want a percentage of the value to grade the book. I have collected, saved and protected the comics for 45+ years and the grading companies will make more off them than I will. I know this isn't the place for this rant, but I was on a roll and it was nice to just get that out. BTW I really do like your channel, I watch all your content in this channel, I just wish you would put up the videos before putting the items for sale. There have been items in the past I really wanted but by the time the video comes out and I am aware of the item it's already been sold.
Thanks so much for watching!!!
So happy to! Yayyyyyyy! ( :

I don’t know why it’s so relaxing to watch, but it is! Thank you!
